There’s something so special about a little chair when you’re a little person. When I was growing up, we had a beloved next door neighbour who had a little chair for me, and another for my brother. We just loved popping over and sitting in those chairs!
I know what you mean. It feels so special having the little chair in the corner. Astrid absolutely loves it when she is visiting us 😊💚

Thank you sooo much for taking care of "Panther". We had a jet black cat like him go missing & when we eventually found her (she'd wandered too far & couldn't find her way back), she was skin & bone, yet pregnant! She was so undernourished, she lost her kittens. We would have been sooo grateful if someone had taken her in & done everything you have. You're doing an awesome job!

#livebutnotlive from my bedroom, That's such a lovely thing you did rescuing the kitten. I've had a not so great day today as i was supposed to go into town, but because of the ryan reynolds fc bus tour which is in the town i was gonna go to, the bus station got closed and is closed all day and I am autistic so for me this took a huge toll on me for the whole day and was upset and isolated myself for quite a bit just watching disney and exercising. But at least i am going to go next week. Always have to just keep rising

Omg that is the cutest kitty. He does look healthy but sadly I was wondering if he was left on purpose too. I had to laugh with Jamie saying she could have three 🤣 It looks like he favors Jojo as well hanging out in his room. Very cute. Best of luck with finding Olivers home. I couldn't live without my cats (it's just me and them) and I have had to accept that even though I am vegan, they cannot be. I'm still doing everything I can to reduce my human impact on animals and the environment. As you know, it's about doing the best you can, which doesn't always mean being perfect. Please don't feel bad about having to buy him food - it's not only in the best interests of this particular animal you are saving, but it's also stopping him killing wildlife to eat. You're doing a very good thing!
(Edited to add - my cats don't free roam, as the whole back area of the yard is enclosed for them, so they are safe and so is the wildlife).
Hi, thanks for sharing. We understand that we all do our best to reduce what impact we may make, and although the food for cats/dogs can mostly be discarded meat byproducts, it isn't ideal, but if caring for cats it's what they need so you have to figure it out. Fortunately Emily has decided to take care of it in the meantime.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is an indoor cat that has got out and got lost. Cats can travel long distances. One cat locally got into a van/truck of someone and ended up found in another town. So I’m sure some family is worried sick about their. Fur baby.

Please also note some human foods and plants are toxic to cats.

The black kitten looks like my missing black cat Junior. But i am living in sweden, so yeah haha. I would keep him.If you have 1-2 cats already, one more cat isnt that much.
Oh your cat drink from the sink, my cat did that to. Then i got a water fountain for cats. They like more drinking water if its running. You shouuld get a cat tunnel, so the cat can play around, and toys. If you keep him, you probaly have a high cat tree

Unfortunately, it could just be a stray that chose you. I’m glad you are trying to find the owners but be careful when posting. You may get someone saying it’s theirs but all they want it for is for horrible things. Here is Southern California, they use them for dog fighting. There are some sick people in this world. We have a cat that looks just like him but ours is a girl. We named her Gabby. She came from my brothers car engine. She was from a stray litter but she was extremely social from day one. Some just are. If nobody claims him, sounds like you may have been chosen. I like Maxwell for him. He is adorable 💕💕

We have two cats one is a Ginger named Feisty and his litter mate brother Zo who is jet black except for a tiny bit of grey on his chest. 🙂💖🐈🐈⬛
I got a stray cat with 4 kittens they all love me and one is mine attached to me so named her pebbles

I have a feeling he was abandoned and chose you as his new family. That's what cats do lol. Also black cats are often he subject of abuse. I'm really glad Emily got him proper kitten food. Cats are obligate carnivores and won't live long or well eating a vegan diet unfortunately. Their systems have evolved to not be able to convert proteins and amino acids from plants the way some people and herbivores can do. Thanks for helping him out, he seems like the sweetest little thing ❤

Trying to work out a wandering cats life can be so confusing, especially if they aren’t chipped & don’t have a collar but you 100% did all the right things in helping him - I can’t thank you enough 🤍
If he is un-neutered then he may have travelled quite a distance to get to you and then got stuck in the bins. Un-neutered males will travel FAR to find females, so maybe that is why nobody in your area recognises him.
I would also like to point out to anybody reading this that it is law that you have to microchip your cats and THIS is why 🤍

The cat looks like a Bombay cat, we ended up with one as he adopted us as he came to our house, had no chip. He had a collar but the number was missing a digit and the code was for Devon and we live in Gloucestershire. We asked around as we were a military family and no one knew him. Then he stayed with us and then 3 months later found he did have an owner and the wife didn’t like cats and made him stay outside all the time. When we knew where he lived we asked if we could keep him and the husband said no, so kept taking him home and running back to the house to find him on our doorstep. Then we gave up and let him move in but he was free to go as he pleased,then 6 months later we found his owners had up and left without him and we were so happy as we got to keep the most wonderful cat till he died at the age of 11. We miss him so much and he was a Bombay and he was just the best xx

i’m glad you did the right thing with the cat, i’m glad that even though you are vegan, you came to an arrangement that it was still fed. i always wanted a cat growing up, but now i live with my aunt, who is allergic to cats. so that wouldn’y be fair, haha! we’re looking into a dog instead, which i’m also happy with, animal lover haha! (just not horses, i am scared of horses😭)
it’s unfortunate that cats get thrown in bins, but also, they are dumb at times, could possibly have just jumped in there😅
it’s so upsetting that people like me have been looking for a dog for a year now, at people get animals to treat them like that, (or they say you need a 5 foot fence or another dog. which is stupid, because to get a dog, i need a dog, but you won’t give me a dog, so i can’t get a dog…)
also thought i’d mention, i’m a writer, that’s why all my comments are in big paragraphs, i don’t even realise i’m doing it until i hit ‘comment’ 😭

I notice that Jojo always picks parsnips in the shopping videos. Can you please show us how you cook with them?
Maybe we can include it in an upcoming video when we next have them, but if we don't then the best results we found are when we par-boil/steam them for 15-20 mins until soft, and then roast them for about 15 minutes after 😊
People who throw non-human animals in the bin are so cruel and people who rescue them are so kind. 😊

I think he's chosen you I have a stray my cat hates who's name is Mufasa she is fixed and has a microchip and a color and unfortunately the details on both were no help they had old info and have been disconnected so sometimes even all the info doesn't help she hangs around my house and I'm the only one she lets pet and touch her so I think even though she doesn't live with me she chose me

i have 7 cats , i took in a homeless cat 9 years ago and i had a elderly cat , he cat was pregnant she had five babies , we literally couldnt trust anyone to look after them so we had them all spayed and neutered and we kept them all lol

It seems like forever since I saw you all. So sorry for my long absence but it’s been a bit of a struggle and my son has also been poorly again but thank goodness is doing so much better now.
I remember taking my eldest two to Alton Towers but that was over 30 years ago and there were no hotels then. Infact we stayed on a farm and it was amazing. I remember there were kittens and we really wanted to take one home.
Back to today and your beautiful little surprise. My youngest son has just got a new kitten and she’s half Bengal. She is so beautiful but also so naughty & mischievous but beyond adorable. My son went to Norway a couple of weeks ago so I looked after her. We have called her Fluff Bag lol. I wish I could send you some piccies and I’ve taken lots of videos too.
