I am finding the brakes lock incredibly easily, even @ 85% brake power in the settings, will this be addressed?
We don't see any issues with brakes. Try adjusting your brake bias and be more progressive with brakes.

The speed of this car is too low same prob than alpine ferrari, bmw , IA with 100% the best is 3.36 @lemans , each stage of gearbox speed is too low
