as a fan for 15 yrs im so onboard with this now, esp when oda himself has been very much in the production. I dont even get what hasan is looking for when the first arcs of the manga have pretty much the same vibe with opla
Idk what other people was expecting but that is totally the best cgi they did specially the DF powers and some people who don't watch the anime one piece don't even understand how great the live-action is.
I like how this live action proved everyone wrong, its hilarious wathing this reactions now when the product already out and its one of the best series of the year and second season confirmed

LMAO it's supposed to be a weird anime. I think they did a good job with the live action, and I'm a hardcore one piece fan, and have been watching this anime for about 13 years. There are obvious bad things, but overall it looked pretty good.
I don't understand the complaints about any of the characters. It is literally Live Action. Of course they are re imagined in different ways. Roger is literally sick here. He looks really truly like a pirate, which roger is basically supposed to be the embodiment of a pirate. Love the smile, right on track. The first scene to me with roger is almost flawless in the trailer. Don't mind the fish people, really good job. Size looks a little off, but not bad at all. Sanji was maybe the most impressive strawhat in the trailer, and Nami came off as the least expressive and animated to me, although I though she might be the best casted coming in. I'm so confused. I had the opposite feelings all the way through
One Piece can be goofy as well as cool. Hasan seems the type of fan who just wants the cool and doesn't like the goofiness (he doesn't like Buggy and Usopp). I think the trailer looked really great and it's gonna be a very entertaining 7/10 show, which is as high as you can expect from a live action One Piece.
I thought the cgi on the chop chop fruit was great. hasans fanbase just changes their opinion as soon as he says something that opposes their original thought.
Not even Surprised, hasan has a life full of L takes. Hardcore one piece fans are on board and are ready to give it a chance. casual fans are also ready for it. Non Fans are looking at it with curious eyes. It's those people who are watching one piece just for the sake of it who are most reserved and hesitant about it.
I feel like most fans have already accepted that there will be aspects of the manga/anime that simply don't translate well over to the live action and have been pretty optimistic about it otherwise. I don't expect it to be perfect, and I'm sure there will be parts that get clip-chimped and go viral on twitter, but idk it looks good and has the fun spirit to me. Feels like Hasan is being surpisingly negative/nit-picky about it.
I am actually kinda happy they had practical effects rather than CGI. CGI arlong wouldn't look good. Like they def went the way of pirates of carribean and IMO that's a good choice
I mean considering where I thought this live action was going and the previous trailer I had much worse opinions but after this I'm actually hype. Yeah Arlong looks a bit off but that's honestly my only real gripe with this trailer.
Roger was terminally ill and literally looked like a NPC in the intro of this series, I dont know what show people were watching. Shame with Shanks, he looked like a bum at the start of the series. Are people even watching this show. Im not a fan of Arlongs design, mostly because they changed his nose too much but everything else looks good or great. PS: Okay, Hasan is massively capping if he thinks that the chop-chop looks bad. "Worse than Cowboy Bepop". Just lol.
Look I'm going to say this for all we know. The series might be trash and might fail, but the fact that he was just so absolutely close-minded about it even when their stuff in the trailer that all are the majority of the one piece fans, including myself. Think he's actually pretty great and he thinks it's just flat out. 100% terrible is really insane to me
Sorry but this trailer captured the fun, goofy, adventure side of One Piece. This guy clearly doesn't get One Piece and it trying to capitalize on being negative for no reason.
Rarely ever disagree with Hasan but can’t agree here. I think if you go in with the mindset that it’s live action and not gonna be exactly carbon copy. CGI looks fine imo
People ignoring the significance of the Manga creator actually having say for the first time. And they are going all in with the whimsical silly aspect of the world, I'm sold and loving it. Pretty much same with why every single anime adaptation has failed, they never had given actual control to the creator before, until now. So it's funny to see so many people all pissy and jaded when they don't even know Oda is all for this.
Y'all need to detach your thinking from the anime. If you expect Roger to be bulky and cast Dwayne Johnson, youre gonna end up with Whitebeard like The Hulk
I have to 100% disagree with you man. The show looks amazing. Way better than any other anime adaptation weve ever seen. All the stuff you said was horrible and bad was exaggeration. It wasnt even bad at all.
As someone who has been overly obsessed with Sanji for 11 years, I think he looks good. Initially I also thought from the casting that he looked way too gruff/ chad/bro-ish where I saw the character's physical appearance as more of a elegant/feminine masculine type of guy. But seeing the actor in action and in interviews, he captures Sanji's silly personality and I love how they kept his British accent. He makes me feel Sanji from the inside out not the outside in. I get some criticism but this is an unreasonable level from Hasan, I'm disappointed
I am half-half, I think he looks good and can pull off Sanji well. I do think they could have chosen someone who looks a little more similar to anime/manga Sanji though. Also while I understand leaving out the eyebrow I dont understand why they decided to remove his facial hair..
@@MidnightEkaki I agree they could have chosen more of a baby-faced type of handsome rather than chiselled but it's Oda's vision and his story so If he is happy and the actor does a good job, then I am happy too. Pre-timeskip he only had a small stubble on his chin so the lack of facial hair isn't too bad. I really think they could have pulled off the eyebrows. It didn't need to be a full-blown spiral but even a curly flick. The end of my friend's eyebrows curl upwards so I'm used to seeing it so it wouldn't have been weird tbh. That way Zoro could have something to insult him with lol
He definitely forgot about suicide squad movie with killer croc, arlong looks way better per the budget for the show in comparison to some hollywood budget films
It’s not that it’s low, it’s that most fans who were teens when they watched it are adults now, watching Hollywood flicks with billions in budget and being nullified by great cgi, they expect better failing to realize this show was intended for teens, and any recreation was intended for newer generation of teens and not ACTUALLY created for them as adults. Some people just can’t let the newer generation of kids enjoy the same excitement they felt as a kid, they write bad reviews clearly knowing that Netflix has a lower budget as well seeing better cgi is higher budget films🤷♂️ Honestly they did the best they could with their budget and their intended target audience; the Teens are going love it It’s just the adults who think the expectations is low 🤷♂️

I like to assume anyone who calls me up to sell me phone plans is watching Hasan on their other monitor.
@@Frikchathat last statement is such a good read!!!!
@@FrikchaLMAO
he has good political takes doesnt mean i agree with all his takes
narcissism at it's best
Can't take hasan serious anymore.😂
at this point i’m tempted to treat him as my personal jester with how hilariously bad his opinions are on pop culture.
Only hasan can make a 3 minutes long video into a nearly 23 minutes reaction.
Because he’s hating on everything😂 dude is a big big hater
Nah, Tekking just mada an hour long video about it.
i read like 30 coments under this hasan take and all of them disagree with his take about the trailer. and with me we are 31
Can’t believe he wants MORE CGI, practical effects are awesome thank god the characters aren’t drowned in digital makeup
A fishman will always look goofy
Rubber arms will always look goofy
One piece will always be goofy. If the casual audience doesnt like anything goofy, then they wont like One Piece. Easy as.
Theres different kinds of goofy
roger was literally severely ill and very very close to dying by the time of his execution, why would he look big and strong by then? even recalling from memory roger’s coat looks too big for him and he looked disheveled with that execution scene.
lol why is he so toxic bout everything
and i personally thik sanji looks great :)
Roger looking thin and out of shape? It's probably because he was sick before his execution and that's logical, idk maybe I'm wrong... Or you are wrong
Yea he was sick
yeah, he was pretty much terminally ill on his last voyage, so looking skinny like that is normal for a terminally ill person
Stop meatriding. This is crazy cope.
@@pithicusthen554 what?
@@pithicusthen554lmao what? it’s true that roger’s near death by the time they executed him lol
Dude that's a perfect Roger. What is he talking about. Bro people forget that this is live action
what is wrong with Sanji? I dont get the hate he looks awesome.
He is nit-picking and just annoying, the actor put so much effort and looks great.
bro literally nitpicking cuz he is scared of being flamed 😭
as a fan for 15 yrs im so onboard with this now, esp when oda himself has been very much in the production. I dont even get what hasan is looking for when the first arcs of the manga have pretty much the same vibe with opla
Idk what other people was expecting but that is totally the best cgi they did specially the DF powers and some people who don't watch the anime one piece don't even understand how great the live-action is.
Let Sanji “cook”… I think he’ll kill it, Garp looks fine, and Roger was sick af when he was killed, and a pirate so his look fits perfectly
Bro this dude has the most L opinions about everything
This is why communism is bad 🤣
Fr
And he doesn't even watch one piece anime😆😆. Where did he base all of his L opinions¿?HAHAHAHA
@@seanrichardtadiamon9895 he watches ONe piece anime and dude at least in fishman or punk hasard arc
Pop culture or overall? I think his political stuff is pretty decent but his takes on pop culture shit is very hit or miss
I like how this live action proved everyone wrong, its hilarious wathing this reactions now when the product already out and its one of the best series of the year and second season confirmed
Personally I don’t get what’s wrong with roger, he turned himself over because he was dying from a disease anyway so it would make sense that he’s kinda smaller and sickly looking.
My 66 year old dad watched it and got excited when he seen the release date. Im confused why people say it looks bad.
actually, most people and especially one piece fans were genuinely surprised and said it looked good, some even said they changed their minds about the show in a good way, it's only casual one piece watchers who don't know that much about the anime who have the strongest opinions.
a huge majority of people actually like it, but the few negative ones always pop up and surface, which is annoying.
Barely anyone has said it looks bad just been hearing things about arlong
Hasan said the GP will hate it but I bet most will like or enjoy it. I would like to see reactions from people who havent seen OP though
I think sanji was well cast, i dont know who else could have done it better
Ngl if fishmen were to be real this is what I’d expect tbh maybe more tall
Yeh the one gripe I have is that they aren't tall enough. The makeup is decent. They obviously had a budget and choose to lower it for the fishmen.
People shit on Practical effects but forget that Practical effects are what made Lord of the Rings so good and it was Jacksons obsession to CGI that gave us the hobbit movies.
This man thought he ate for whatever you're ranting towards opla
this entire trailer was amazing!
Yeah, he's got some skewed idea of what this should've looked like. I'm loving it, personally, and hoping for the best. Like most, I just want it to be good.
Sanji gigachad L Take
Did he expect them to actually cut the actor playing Buggy into pieces and to hire a fishman from the sea for this show ?
So glad to see Hassan is keeping true to his track record of being wrong on politics to also being wrong about this trailer. Gotta applaud the consistency 👏
This man has never once had a good opinion its crazy.
Its those who just caught up to the anime are the people most hesitant about it. From watching most reaction videos this is what I noticed.
😂 i watch these reations for days now. And even ones where they do not know what they are talking about are actually wholesome. Because I know that he will enjoy it anyway in the end without all the social pressure
People like Hasan or Moist/Charlie is not the people you want to listen regarding about One Piece. They are casual watchers who farm people for money and content. There are a lot of great One Piece content creators out there not just these two because they have one sided opinion and they are delusional about it.
or the opposite, the dont need to care what the one piece fanbase thinks, and give their real opinion, different of one piece youtubers that are scared of losing their public
@@lucasf.goncalves1803 Or even opposite, don't talk about one piece or watch it. Lil bro Hasan equates to everything Luffy does as "socialism and marxism". Dude's actually delusional. (this is not saying One Piece is not political, it's that Hasan is reaching so HARD to project his beliefs on it and his fans will regurgitate what he says".
LMAO it's supposed to be a weird anime. I think they did a good job with the live action, and I'm a hardcore one piece fan, and have been watching this anime for about 13 years. There are obvious bad things, but overall it looked pretty good.
There’s 2 people in not gonna take opinions on this from and that’s Hasán and Charlie. Especially Charlie
The trailer is fine. But the cringe overacting in front of your immature audience is the real thing that's off putting about this video.
Lets not forget Roger was literally dying when he went to be executed.
I had the opposite feelings all the way through
Hasan just mad because he looks like one of the fishman that sanji was kicking in the baratie 😂
23 minutes to watch a 3 minute trailer.
he played his cards thinking everyone would hate it, but it was the opposite. what a fool
Roger was sick so if thats what theyre trying to show then they nailed it imo
Roger was sick by the time he got executed tho so kinda makes sense. He did look less bulky during his execution
I thought the cgi on the chop chop fruit was great. hasans fanbase just changes their opinion as soon as he says something that opposes their original thought.
These the type of fans who read scanned manga and free anime
This is the first negative reaction I've seen. Og op fans compare to casuals are really different.
Not even Surprised, hasan has a life full of L takes.
Hardcore one piece fans are on board and are ready to give it a chance.
casual fans are also ready for it.
Non Fans are looking at it with curious eyes.
It's those people who are watching one piece just for the sake of it who are most reserved and hesitant about it.
lol bruh I remember you from Harshal sir's classes XD how ya doin?
@@phobic1818 Ayo kaha se kaha mil gye
it's bothering me that the most vocal about their dislike are the ones who just got into OP. Like Hasan and Charlie. But eh.
Hasan is the type of person to turn a 3 minute video into a 23 minute video
Internet loves it. Hasan “no”
Y'ALL LISTEN TO HASAN OUTTA ALL PEOPLE, HOLY L
Dude is trying so hard to seem like he's some mega One Piece fan. Dude's a tourist 100%.
The fishmen are identical to the manga what takes are these
roger at this point is sickly and about to die. its ok if he looks weak at his execution
I mean considering where I thought this live action was going and the previous trailer I had much worse opinions but after this I'm actually hype. Yeah Arlong looks a bit off but that's honestly my only real gripe with this trailer.
sanji's casting is really good, tfym?
how the fuck else did he expect chop chop to look like💀
Roger was terminally ill and literally looked like a NPC in the intro of this series, I dont know what show people were watching. Shame with Shanks, he looked like a bum at the start of the series.
Are people even watching this show.
Im not a fan of Arlongs design, mostly because they changed his nose too much but everything else looks good or great.
PS:
Okay, Hasan is massively capping if he thinks that the chop-chop looks bad.
"Worse than Cowboy Bepop". Just lol.
Most people dont have one piece proportions like you hasan...
Is Hasan just shitting on it because of the writer’s strike? Like, shouldn’t he not even be reacting to it in the first place?
Hasan is talking out of his ass on this one xD
Look I'm going to say this for all we know. The series might be trash and might fail, but the fact that he was just so absolutely close-minded about it even when their stuff in the trailer that all are the majority of the one piece fans, including myself. Think he's actually pretty great and he thinks it's just flat out. 100% terrible is really insane to me
I think Roger looks good. remember he was littlerlying dying of sickness at this time.
Sorry but this trailer captured the fun, goofy, adventure side of One Piece. This guy clearly doesn't get One Piece and it trying to capitalize on being negative for no reason.
Calm down arlong isn’t that bad
Rarely ever disagree with Hasan but can’t agree here. I think if you go in with the mindset that it’s live action and not gonna be exactly carbon copy. CGI looks fine imo
People ignoring the significance of the Manga creator actually having say for the first time. And they are going all in with the whimsical silly aspect of the world, I'm sold and loving it.
Pretty much same with why every single anime adaptation has failed, they never had given actual control to the creator before, until now.
So it's funny to see so many people all pissy and jaded when they don't even know Oda is all for this.
I like how the person who ain't really a hardcore one piece fan wants to talk shit about a show that's probably not for him
Y'all need to detach your thinking from the anime.
If you want to see chopper, franky, brook, robin, and other cast you should support this adaptation thats what a real fan does!
Never let bro cook like actually
bro rlly compare this to death note LA im done 💀
I mean everybody did at first.
"I have not seen Cowboy Bebop"
"...worse than Cowboy Bebop"
Okay, bro.
He definitely forgot about suicide squad movie with killer croc, arlong looks way better per the budget for the show in comparison to some hollywood budget films
I think people's expectations are so low that they are not gonna be that mad at actual show, it looks pretty decent
Some people just can’t let the newer generation of kids enjoy the same excitement they felt as a kid, they write bad reviews clearly knowing that Netflix has a lower budget as well seeing better cgi is higher budget films🤷♂️
Honestly they did the best they could with their budget and their intended target audience; the Teens are going love it
It’s just the adults who think the expectations is low 🤷♂️
So many terrible takes especially the whole "People in the West's first interaction with the IP" like okay let's just pretend it's not one of if not the biggest anime out rn and the entire western hemisphere live under a rock.
Forreal bro. Like just because you JUST got into it doesn’t mean it didn’t exist before you. You swear it hasn’t been the #1 selling manga for over a decade lmao.
