Actually it’s a very common difference between lower and higher ranked players. A lot of high ranked players look around a lot more because they are gathering every piece of information they can and constantly being aware of their surroundings.
That being said this guy can’t even move and shoot at the same time so I think that’s way too complicated a topic for him to

@@Binasaurz This right here. I used to love playing tank, especially Rein. But the current game environment just makes it such a miserable experience. Support main only these days, then at least I can help the ones still brave enough to queue tank and actually try.

If I join up with a decent Support that actually assist me a bit, I'll make space and slaughter people. If I don't, and the support is just oblivious or has no awareness, the entire team strings out and falls apart in an endless feeding cycle.
I honestly still don't mind tanking but I hate how dull it's getting whenever I don't get DPS support or Healing because everyone else is playing death match instead of the objective.
It's worse whenever the other teams DPS and supports ARE and there's team cohesion. But alas? That's QP. It's random as hell.
There's a difference between feeding and 'creating space'. If you're not sure, you'd rather do nothing rather than feed cz if you die we also likely die too

Feels a bit bad for that tank, no help from the team whatsoever regardless of how over aggressive at times (2nd round very meh, cause that's not gonna go well at all)
I also love how the enemy team sometimes just doesn't acknowledge their presence cause they barely pose a threat

This is why we need better onboarding for new players. To get to a competant level (high silver, low gold) takes a long time even if youre coming from a shooter background. I came to this game from siege and got rolled for a month until things started to click. Unless your previous game was like, TF2 or something like that then this game plays so completely different from every other game that 90% of your skills wont transfer over.

That side comment about people playing with guys like this in Gold because of their placements and having their games thrown is so fucking true man.
I swear it gets worse during big events; people come back to the game, the game says, "You're gold 2," and then they're completely useless, and you lose the game because one person on your team just dies endlessly with no healing and no elims.

I have always thought of myself as a high gold player, and I recently placed on the bottom of gold 1 (haven't played much more ranked, so I'm unsure if this is my true rank), and I can easily say this guy would go 0 - 30 in a gold or plat game. He needs a MASSIVE reality check.

I have played OW for some time now, and my brain is just in constant evaluation when the colors are flipped for the teams. LIke it takes me a second to remember the switch in vods sometimes and then i'll forget part of the way through the video and just have another 2-3 seconds of confusion lol
I play Lifeweaver and it killed me inside when they got hit by Zaria Ult and didn’t throw down pedal to get out and instead wasted their Ult.
Its amazing to me that hes a league player and stands still in fights when in league its important to always be moving

Update: I'm currently ranging between Silver 4-2 on the different roles, Let's hope I can catch up to my friends who got me into the game (Plat/Diamond)

i was in bronze for a little while in OW1 and i dominated every game. if youre fitting in with your teammates in bronze chances are thats where you belong

There's nothing wrong with being bad at or new to a game, the problem lies in people thinking so highly of themselves when they not only know nothing, but have played so little that they shouldn't know anything. A lot of people are afraid of admitting that they are bad at a game because, oh I'm good at one game that means I'm good at other games. At least this person is seeking guidance to improve, but the first step in learning is realising that you still have things to learn.
One of the biggest issues this guy has, and its very obvious from his gameplay is that he is playing overwatch like valorant. His refusal to move while shooting (valorant guns are crazy inaccurate while moving), him peeking around corners (peeking and holding angles is very important to valorant since it is more slow paced and many guns can one shot with a headshot), his mouse placement while not being detrimental also says a lot (this is because of the fact headshots are important so you need to keep your crosshair on head level), and him tapping his shoot button (as mentioned in the video) since valorant has heavy recoil that needs to be managed by tapping the gun. This traits especially after playing even a small amount of overwatch shows an unwillingness to adapt and change the way he plays, and only shows his misplaced ego more.

The tank actually did well for bronze, the tank playing with gold support and dps would go well
His aim is better than I thought it eruptions be for his rank though, although I haven't watched a bronze player vod since OW1 and I know that the average rank increases in skill over time.

I also stand still while aiming sometimes as soldier and I’m plat 1 but ther difference is I’m a little shit who shoots half a clip Giggles then sprints to a different off angle so that the enemy team is either 1 always looking for me giving my teammates opportunity or 2 stop turning and I just get to Feast

I play League too, but I swear to god brother, this guy came straight from Diamond in league or something and thinks he is a mechanical god in everything. Not every game is the same😂. Doesn’t even know the game, jumps straight into Ranked. Jep, League player alright.
The craziest thing is the tank is better than maybe half the tanks I get in gold. Granted I’m not perfect but I would kill to have that Rein in my games

yeah nah this is typical league behavior, as someone who has been playing league since 2015/2016, all league players think they can just climb if they want to but are held back by bad teammates, since low rank is just the same slog in league, its only when you get to midrank like plat and diamond that things actually start to change, however in ow low rank can actually be differentiated, theres a difference between a bronze and silver player in ow, not in league
edit: damn i just noticed the sombra hit him with the "catch you later" like 2 seconds before she hacked him and there was still no reaction
I can see why they're chasing kills. In league getting kills put you ahead cause you get money to make yourself stronger. I think a lot of their habits are coming from league like not using shift and being used to a qwer layout. Agree about not playing ranked yet tho.
A better Sombra wouldn't be hacking you first. They'd open with virus and kill you in the time its taking for you to react to hack...
