You see a lot of his crosses are suited to someone like Dhuran or Samu. The lack of that has hindered him, but I agree he hasn't been good enough either 5) Jackson isnt the problem, the issue is he doesn't have cover. I get it with the people who wanted/want Osimhen, you're not wrong, but he doesn't really have anyone because we can see Guiu isn't ready

i agree with everything besides with 2 points. Chalobah is not better than Fofana. Neto was a right but if we had a air dominant striker, correct, but Duran and Samu are just the same as Jackson. yes they are aurally dominant but they are also inconsistent. we need a Diego Costa type of striker. aurally dominant, experienced, clinical, can link up play and who is consistent in front of goal.

The wingers tactically hug the touchline. Their role is to hold width, take on 1v1’s, create chances, and track back defensively. it’s all on Jackson, he’s getting fed chances from all over. Plus in possession, there’s two 10’s and a striker occupying central areas, they’re in better position to score.

Gents, you guys aren't seeing the real issue here. Yes i completely believe the board has been poor especially with defence and goalkeeper, but they have gotten a lot right regardless of what you think is due to them intending that. Just because half of the billion you've spent has been on absolute duds doesn't mean you don't still have to cover that cost. It's the same reason you've frantically sold (particularly homegrown players) before July in both of the last two windows. You need to raise about £116m every summer before July just to cover the fees coming out each year on amortised fees, that is a fact.
It doesn't mean you can't still spend, you can, but you'll see again this summer that you'll sell £50-100m worth of players before July 1st (with the rest being made up from reduced wage bill from selling those players) and the more players you add each window the more this amount goes up. Better hope Cobham doesn't run out of talent to sell on to spend on all those Brazilians we'll never see play for you.
