Hey everyone, one thing to note. I forgot to grab a diagram card until about half way through the episode. You always get one to start the game. I catch myself and correct this. Good news is that the Diagram cards aren't as important for Room 1 when playing solo. Enjoy!
The diagram deck IS in play (though as pointed out in this video is pretty useless). Only the TRAP and COUNTERMEASURE cards are specified as NOT being in play.
Hi Adam, great video. Just received my copy (second print of the game). I know it's been a while for you and rules might have been clarified by CTG but you cannot combine the dice you get from your ACT bead with another dice rolled. Page 12 of the rules. So you cannot roll your dice, do the action of one of them and then sacrifice your other die + the one from your ACT to pick any other action of your choice... The other thing is that each character can only be used once in a scenario (success or fail) so you would not be able to do room 2 with Ace in this case.

Hi Adam, that was a very imaginitive use of the dice there. I would never have thought of adding a die through a skill then adding it to the left over die and cashing them in for a single action. The rules I have, mention having 3 things to do, I wondered whether you could use a skill then have 2 separate dice actions ( 4 dice in total), if you weren't attempting to complete a diagram. Otherwise for most of the game you will only have 2 things to do.
+Stefan Tymoshyshyn Thanks Stefan. You're right about there being two things you can do. But it's combining dice rolls, character abilities, diagram cards and skills that will give you options! You can only do each 'thing' once. So you don't get two dice rolls (actions). Only by using your skill like I did to get an extra action die. Cheers!
Hi adam it says in the rules if you use the ACT and get the plus 1 you have to immediately roll a single die at that time only (cannott be combined) :) I m playing now as we speak and I know this was prototype.
Awesome video! I was curious if I roll a "expose" which ultimately requires the stacks to be rotated does it mean I'd lose one of the failsafes on the stack that goes into the hidden area during this scenerio??? Thanks!

Not sure how your copy reads in this video but I'm pretty sure when The Room rotates the stacks during its turn, rotating is done to the left, unless I've misread something :)

Rolling Solo Pretty sure the Diagram deck is not used in The Station: Room 1, so you don't have to draw one at the beginning of the game.
