Maybe, for the 10 sec one, don’t get the key? Maybe the act of jumping slows you down? Then, you can go for the bottom of the pole.

Hello, Mr A-Game!
You have to touch the Fire Flower at the end so that way the game will freeze for a split-second excepting Mario. Basically, Mario can freeze time by eating a Fire Flower for a split-second, and you can beat the level.
I clicked that sweet like button before I even started watching this video, because I knew it was going to be good!
By the way, you should do a video where you have a compilation of all the times you sing in your videos. That would be a great video, sir!

For the level by Shrek, you need to just barely make every jump. It saves just a tiny bit of momentum

In the level “Close? No you froze“ there is only one rule: RUN, A-GAME, RUN!!! Do not take the coins for the key, ignore the door, there is the pole! The first 2 jumps in the level must be quick and short, that'll do the trick! Made it in 9,985 seconds and hit the record with Joe...

For the 10 second level, you just run into the flower. The pole is there and the ground is covering the flagpole stump.

There are two reasons why you probably didn't make that speedrun from Shrek: 1. You didn't touch the Fire Flower. 2. You jumped for the pink coins instead of building up momentum. You should give it another shot and record it!

I think in Close? No you froze you don’t collect the red coins, instead you just run and instead of going through the door, you grab the bottom of the flagpole

If you ask me, in addition to having to clear the level to upload it, the game should record you clearing it. That way, if someone gets really stumped, they can watch how you’re supposed to clear the stage.

The coins are a trap so you waste time jumping and slow down. You just charge the finish line.
