As a party planner and decorator, Just a few things: what is your plan B for rain on the day of? And also; those huge latex balloons use a TON of helium. It might be easier to either use them in your balloon arch with regular air, or pay to have them inflated. Cause if you’re thinking of just picking up a couple of those small helium tanks you get at target, Walmart or the party store, each of those only blow up about twenty med-small balloons before running out of air. Forget about those Mylar or the huge 30” latex. One of those little tanks will only get maybe one and a half of the Mylars blown up. And the twine is heavier than you think with the helium filled latex balloons. I’d consider doing a dry -run on the balloons to see how many you can fill, and the types of string that will work. If you have chalkboard markers in various colors those work better on that type of board. (You Might already have some) but if not, you can grab some from Amazon. Consider doing a photo session with Oliver and your own camera at home and a smash cake prior to his birthday. If they come out cute, you could display those photos in frames on his cake table at the party! For the cake; practice a LOT. You can actually freeze the cake between the different layers and stages of frosting, and it will make it easier to put decorative touches with the last few bits of frosting. (Like when you’re making a shaped cake, this helps. )

I love their lemon pound cake! Walmart sells individual slices of iced lemon pound cake wrapped in plastic that taste like Starbucks and are cheaper! They are usually on a stand on in a case near the bakery.
