- hey guys i know it has been a while. I added a bit of rain noise in the background, I hope it isn't annoying but it just felt weird with no game sound going on. ANYWAYS. I hope y'all learned smthing. I'm thinking of making another guide montage in the near future. Have some good ideas in my head :]
Jungle tracking is one of the most under valued techniques, but it's definitely game changing.
what do you think about d ring start?
It is a good starting item, the lower mmr you are the better it is. The one thing I don't like with the item is that after your first and 2nd base, you usually are buying no pots so if u take 1 bad trade or get ganked you have to base. Cpot lets u be a lot more flexible.
Dorans can be good if ur just looking to farm up and fight at 6. It def is viable in every way. I would take it into champs like Lux or Corki where I am just going to push and roam.

Is there ever a matchup where you take TP? I noticed White and Pretty, the KR challenger ahri player has been taking it the past week.

I used to be a big fan of TP, especially into stuff like Galio and TF, however I think atleast with my playstyle right now the threat of having ignite in lane makes me have a lot more pressure on my opponents since I can actually kill them. I am okay giving up cs in order to be able to have ignite. Right now I think my games mainly focus on who wins the dragon fights, and I think ignite does a better job than tp at doing that. In this game taking a look back at my ignite usage this game, there doesn't seem to be that good value. However even just making galio play a bit safer has a lot of intangible value. If he is playing safer then he cannot roam since he cannot push as well. While we didnt solo kill him this game, if he steps up too far, I am going for the kill when he makes that mistake. This is particuarly useful against champs that you don't want to follow the roams like Qiyana or Zed because they just roam better than you generally. So keeping pressure on them to forcibly 1v1 u in lane is better in my opinion.
Also, Lucidity boots + Cosmic puts Ignite on a cooldown that lines up about 1 ignite per 2 ulties and I really like the feel of having that all in power. Whereas more often than not, having TP on a lower CD than 5 mins doesn't do a whole ton.
Additionally ignite is really good when you have assasins on your team since getting the kill on a priority target is of most importance so they do not die right after. Champs like Viego or Xin Zhao excel when you are able to finish someone off for them as they can keep going without worrying about dying.
I generally will try to take TP if I have something toplane like Tryndamere or Darius that doesn't take TP, because having at least one tp is important incase the game gets into a spot where baron is contested and the enemy is pushing bot with their tp available and can hold us at a standstill at the objective.
Overall if I could go back in time and change my summoners I probably would change to TP this game. But that's part of the learning process in deciding what is better. TP might also be more favorable w/ mordekaiser on my team since he can stall out 1v2s which I can TP too. All these things help give a better idea on what summ to take. So good point in making me think about this :^)
