It's pretty crazy and I love it!
This is such a clever way to teach how to get comfortable with the transition. Genius
cheers!
Great sounding bass/snare/hats btw!
thanks!!
Because of you I understood and got used to metric modulation in 10 minutes.
Mad respect for your content👍
Cheers, bud!!🙌🔥
The metronome actually adds to the music in the parts when you play a triplet beat.
Now imagine it with a song without hearing a metronome. It can be very cool!
What was that tasty fill at the end. Really nice
Left Flam Triplets in groupings of 4! 😃🙌

You are one of the cleanest players I've seen on TH-cam pal.
Huge thanks, bud!
Snare sounds amazing.
The drummers mind-f**k 😎
haha indeed 😎
I think I’ve done these before and didn’t even know it until just now😅😅
The most useful video i've seen recently

This is great brother! Learnt a lot from you
I'd really like a breakdown of that flourish at the end there! Nice!
😎🥁

Thanks, buddy!!
You'r the best master bro.. thanks a lot!!🙏
I appreciate it 🙌😃
My brain just melted
It's tricky, indeed!
Whaaaaaat?!😱👏👏👏
😎
This is awwwwwsome and I don’t get it yet but I will stick with it till I do
That's the spirit!
Just making sure I don't have to unlearn this. So basically (implied) metric modulation is changing to a differing subdivision that gives a new feel to the metric tempo flow.
Got it! ✌️🔥
Eres realmente un capo 😲😲😲
Dayum, what snare is that?
Great lesson bro!!
Benny Greb signature brass snare ✌️🔥
Great lesson content! Practices this for a while now and is starting to come together. Thanks 🙏!
Enjoy your videos
thanks!!
Sick
Your hit hat sound very good, what is the name of your hit hat plsss
Thanks!
It's a home made combination of two old 16" crashes
8 months later im back, does anyone notice when the triplets turn into the main beat the metro turns into a 3:4 type of polyrhythm
This guy is awesome
Thanks!!
Yo that cool stuff
Appreciate it, mate!
Thank you!
👊🔥
Great👍 sir
Is this that chop and slow down the pattern and then take the tempo back’
Sick 👊
😎
They use this beat in dani California right?
Break down the fill next 🙏🏼😊
Left Flam Triplets! ^^
Yeah,, reminds me of dream theater drums 😅
Use this to get fired!😅great video🥁🙏
This is so great! What hi-hat are you using?
Custom made from two old broken cymbals 🤙🔥
ohh i need that snare tone fr
It's nice, right!
This is a lot to digest
Divide by three then subvert the cos°by a 1~67 ratio.....
.... And Bingo!
So metric modulation is changing subdivisions and not time signature but implying it
Exactly!
The fill at the end made me poop.
Haha I hope that’s a good thing 😅
Nice. What hats are those?
Custom made, from two 16" crashes!
Rad!!
🤙😎
What hihat do you use
Custom made from old 16” crashes✌️🔥
What snare do u use?
This one is a Benny Greb signature brass snare ✌️🔥
This is polirritmo?
Metric Modulation ✌️🔥
I like this better than those chops
Glad to hear it!!
I like the groove but you missed some basedrums in your writing.
The transcript is just for example, play whatever you like 👍
Hello 🤗 idol 😂
🙌🙌
Very cool playing but the first notation doesn’t match the example
I know, it’s just an exempel anyway. You can do this with any groove 🤙
Pretty sure this is NOT metric modulation but it is “implied” metric modulation. if you’re gonna be educating the public…
It's the same thing. Adding "implied" at the start just means you're implying it 😅
Metric Modulation just means changing the subdivision within the metre to "feel" another metre.
