    Nice 1 year follow up. I have two YH's myself and one is approaching the 3 year mark and still doing well.
    I think as long as the operator does his/part and keeps up on maintenance and lubrication changes, they will do what they need to do.
    Thank for sharing.

      Thank you very much!! This has been serving me well. I've had my eye on an Alkin for awhile. But, at more than 10x the price, my Heng will do until that day comes. 👍👍🤙🤙

    Hi Jeremiah. I also have the Yong Heng. I also use it everyday and have owned it for well over a year and it's amazing. I was ignorant and didn't know that the shipping oil cap was NOT to used, and you need to switch it to the breather cap that's included. I ran it for months like that LUCKILY with no problems. It could've burst from over pressure, but didn't. I change the oil very frequently because it's cheap and why not. I bought a gallon of AW-46 hydraulic oil at O-Reilly for about $15 and still have enough for two changes left. Great compressors !

      Hey Michael! You got very lucky my friend! I've seen and heard of some pretty scary issues with these basically turning into a grenade and shrapneling out. I don't fully trust the Heng. Lol!

      Thank you for watching and subbing! My Yong Heng is still running like the day I got it! I retired it recently because I won an Omega Air Charger. The most important things to remember about the Heng's... Make sure you get the Royal Purple compressor oil and a good filter !! Do that and you'll be good!!🤙🤙🤙

      @@bullfrogairguns Nice to win an Omega! That's awesome 👌 Seems like the general consensus is don't get it to hot and keep the oil changed.

    Thank you for making this video. I was about to remove the sight glass to change the oil but this video probably saved a very costly mistake. Some owners of this compressor say to change the oil when it appears cloudy,so that's what I'm going to do since I'd rather replace the oil than the compressor. Saw lots of videos on reviews,setup, oil type,filtration, but no one told me how to change the oil,not even the manual. Good job,thanks.

      Hey Carlos! Thanks for the view and kind words! One of the reasons I started my channel is there weren't any videos I could find that actually showed how to fill the gun and change the oil. I'm very happy to hear this helped you out! If you ever have any questions, I'm here!🤙🤙🤙

    I have had mine for 3+ years and like you use Royal Purple Synthetic Compressor Oil. One little addition I added to it for 10$ on Amazon is a vibration activated time monitor. I have been changing the 6 ounces of oil or so every 10 hours of operating time. It is dark and no longer purple when I change it. Please keep in mind I’m not filling the Guns but 4 carbon fiber 65 Cubic ft tanks so it is running for a while each time I use it. You are 100% right sir…bang for the buck…this is the most affordable way to go if your into PCPs and on a budget my friend. If purchased through Walmart or Amazon a 4 year warranty can be purchased for under 50$ that is no questions and repaired or replaced for free. Amazon has free return shipping also. Hope this helps yourself and others. God bless and thanks for the video bud.

    Mine is actually a Yong Heng copy and I’ve had for about 3 years now. Top of tanks with it and have had few issues. I have upgraded the filter system and change oil regularly. I blow the occasional burst disk but it’s easy to change out and have found filling my tanks to 4500 psi over works the compressor. These compressors are rated to 30 mpa which is more like 4375 rather than 4500 psi. I have fewer issues since limiting my tank fills to ~4375 psi.

    • @bullfrogairguns
      @bullfrogairguns  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! They definitely do the job. Especially when you treat them right. I wouldn't trust these at 4500 psi myself. They say 4500 but, I really don't trust the cheapest 4500 compressor to actually get there without issues. Good to know yours is still going strong after three years filling tanks! 👍👍🤙🤣

    • @bullfrogairguns
      @bullfrogairguns  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Thanks for watching and the question! I use regular tap water. Distilled has all minerals removed. When used in these compressors, the distilled water pulls minerals from the metal it comes in contact with. Creating corrosion. Hope that helps you out!🤙🤙🤙

    If you will not drain the air, Does it hold pressure after reaching the desired pressure?

    • @bullfrogairguns
      @bullfrogairguns  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! You have to bleed the air off whenever filling with compressor or tank. There is far too much pressure in the hose to disconnect while under pressure.
