As acidic as rain is these days, I wouldn’t chance it. I bought a brand new, heavy duty, air hose a year ago. Let it out in the rain over a weekend, and the rubber is all cracked. I have to chop the ends off periodically and fix because holes keep forming. Maybe if there was a solar or battery version.
I see no difference in dropping this in your pool vs a pool robot....pool robots are plugged into an outlet and some people leave their pool robots in the pool 24/7 365 days a year. beside this light has a transformer that steps down the voltage to 12 volts.
@@CrushedEMTB I bought it!!! The newer version does come with a magnet. They have 10, 20 and 40 watt. I got one 20w light and it lights up my 27 round pool perfectly!! Thank you!!
Are you for real? Putting electrical cords in a swimming pool? Your locals should ban you from owning a pool. I hope you dont let children in there for if you do, you should be, well, I cant say that here
Did you know in ground pool lights are 120v and some are even 240v? I think this little light is powered by 12v. That would be like touching both terminals of a car battery with your hands at the same time. Nothing is going to happen. If it was that deadly I doubt they would be allowed to sell them on Amazon.
Geezus. Finally someone answers w logic. Atta boy @jamessharrell9096. So funny how nobody thinks about built in pools w lighting also like u said. And yes they do have the step down box to 12v. I have 2 in use myself and no issues. They work very well. I tested them on my wife first before my son 😉. Pretty sure Amazon would rectify any issues and so many would have known about anything if were to happen.

something about dropping an electric light into the pool water makes me cringe....lol
Nah, it's alright.
Mine came with magnets. Set of four to go on the outside and hold it flat against the wall. I got the double set. Same brand
Made in China.. no thanks.
1000%
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 12v ?

Nothing electrical going near my pool. I will not be an example.
Ain't no way I would drop anything in the water that is plugged in to an outlet. Wasn't shown if it had an in line GFCI but even those can fail.
Works good so far?!?

So how is it holding up almost a year later? Are you still using this season?
They do well. The new ones have magnets

Hope its gt some type of gfi switch
Good point. you. can always make sure it's plugged into one prior to the pool entry.
The intex light works well. Multi colored too
Did it come with an adhesive backing or something so it doesn’t keep turning?
It comes with magnets for the outside of the pool to hold it flat
It comes with magnets.
would be a insect trap in the watr with that light at night???
That would be super bright in my 100 gal stock tank
Nice I wonder how it would work with a elongated pool not a round one
Yes they would
Did it rust?
No
Looks like with two of those it will light up the entire pool
ONe lights up the pool if you use magnets to keep it straight.
Foh
What?

@@JS-fh8dswell someone has to go first before they rectify any issues. I wouldn’t want to be the first.
