In tarkov. You have scavs. These are locals to tarkov. A band of locals armed and aggresive. The headshots you refer to highlights how most players play. Which is mostly aiming for head eyes jaw. Then you have bears and usecs. Well I'll let you figure those two factions out. The riffles on the games can fit any and all sights really.
Just a little backstory, the guy they shoot at the start are scavengers, who go around the warzone looking for supplies. The main war is fought by 2 private militaries, Russian BEAR and USEC, which consist of UK and US troops. I also recommend turning the subtitles on when you watch so you can understand the story as it goes. PS, the scavenger survived because they mistakenly shot the USEC soldier's head instead of his but thought they killed him. Also, the guy didn't throw his rifle, it was shot out of his hand.
As well as the fact that when the guy dropped his rifles it wasn't because he just tossed it, it was because it was shot and that's what made him fumble it.
8:13 In the Behind the Scene which depicts the recording and development of these short movies, the filming crew had real Russian SF as advisors and consultants tweaking and training the actors for it to be as close to reality as possible. They even fired real rounds downrange on set then did some editing to put the enemies on the receiving end. Real time audio were recorded during filming so everything you heard were not post-effects (but maybe they had to toned down the volume because it was too loud so thats why the canned AK sounds muffled), I hope you have found these information useful and I genuinely enjoyed every one of your reactions.
Then parenting is an issue. Its rated 18. Thus no one under 18 should play it, but they do. Because mom and dad dont monitor there own childs gaming. We did even though back then games wasnt so violent. But at 14 he wasnt allowed 18+ games, even though he knew what went on as he played them round his friends whos parent's let him play any game, no matter the content. So its hard keeping youre kids away from such glorified violence.

Scav's - Scavengers, There is suppose to be a scav life DLC after the game releases, They are low gear, but you can take a scav in with a Makarov and come come out with all that fancy USEC and Bear gear.

There are railed dust covers for AKs as well as replacement rear sights that are just a length of pic rail instead of a rear site. Both of those attachments are featured in the opening scene
So to your questions. The game is set in a post event abandoned city called Tarkov. So essentially these dudes love in a hideout have to scrounge for ammo mags gear and so on. The mounts for the eotech you were asking about looks like it's on a dust cover with the rail system. The game itself is incredibly extensive on weapon customization. Not to mention the weapons available on the Ak platform alone.
Escape from Tarkov (both the mini series and the game) is about a special economic zone in Russia called Tarkov city where 2 private military companies, the American USEC and the Russian BEAR are fighting for control of the city. A political scandal happened and a virus was leaked from a laboratory leaving only the PMCs and the civilians that stayed behind and became scavengers to do their best to take control of Tarkov. I think the Eotech is mounted on that Russian made AK because it has different receiver cover. Zenit makes a railed receiver cover called the B-33.

There’s after market dust covers and hand guards with rails on them for AK’s that let you attach sights. Edit: This series is based on a video game with the same name. The “homeless guys” are scavengers and the kitted up guys are mercenaries. To sum it up the story is about a Russian lab got outed for shady shit and hired mercenaries to try to retrieve the evidence to cover it up.

At the moment when a fighter throws a weapon, two bullets can be seen flying at him. I mean the weapon itself. All videos have subtitles, I guess it will be easier to understand what's going on. It is also interesting to hear how accurate the negotiations of the fighters are.

This seems very much like what is described by Navy SEAL CMCPO James Matto in that situations like this movie are nasty, slippery, unpredictable, and always potentially dangerous. Like Jerry Bruckheimer explained to 3 star Admiral Pete Pettigrew on the making of Top Gun "never let the truth get in the way of a good movie/story" :)
I dunno about that...every war veteran's story of battles of the Vietnam war, say it's not really like the style of this or movies with tons of shooting non-stop. It's still as deadly and chaotic, but slower paced and dragged out over 30 minutes to hours to days. Edit: but then again that Vietnam was a unique war in many facets. Adrenaline can also help people remember events like this but it can also completely warp or block memories, so stories get made up to seem like battles are constantly fast paced action lots of ammo shooting and explosions.

@@IRAwhiskey 1916 is NOT a good even close to accurate war movie. The explosions gojng off non-stop, non-stop shooting, complete chaos non-stop, etc...WW1 was not like that. For a normal movie, it's not bad but nothing like Band of Brothers or Dunkirk.
If youre wondering about the EOtech mounted on the AK, certain variants can accept the TT01, which mounts a PK-06, or similar(Possibly bigger sights) and also turns the rear sight into an open picture if you dont want an optic, or they can accept the TT10000, which is a rail mount for optics designed for the AKM & AK-74, which would run along the entire Dust cover, not just up where the rear sight is, which leads me to believe it is a TT01 Sight mount replacing the stock AK rear sight. The guy at 07:27 is using a Cobra mount, which in turn acts as a sight rail for AK's with the dovetail mount.

Definitely have them subs on for Pt.2. The 3rd and 4th part is easily the best. As far as the game goes, It's realistic enough to drive away huge parts of the community. The lead developer himself said " the game was never meant to be fun, just realistic"

Couple of things: 1) live action mini series. 2) concepts and things you see like looting bodies can all be done in game. 3) the “crackhead” is called a scav which scavenge around the maps throughout the game. 4) idk if you watched it with the subtitles or not because there is good dialogue that uses Russian military speak. It’s common to have no idea where you’re getting shot from in game, it’s a lot of cover firing. There’s USEC, BEAR, (PMCs)and Scav’s. can’t wait for Ep. 3
He can mount the Eotech by using either a Bastion mount on the AK or a Tactical Tula 1000. The Bastion replaces the conventional "dust cover". Both have Picatinny rails for mounting.

I was also wondering why they did not use grenades while the USEC PMCs were piling up inside the building. In that enclosed building, a grenade would have taken them all out. Why did they not have 40mm grenade launchers in their assault rifles which is standard for an infantry squad.
The hobo in the beginning is a "scav" which is a group of bandits that are composed of the former cities scum. The man wasn't shot in the head but in the shoulder. You can clearly see the entry wound at 3:25. Also, I suggest putting subtitles on so you can understand what they're saying. At 9:15 you can see the sparks of a round hitting his AK, ultimately making the rifle fly out of his hands.
The way that he has the EoTech mounted on that AKS-74U is the B-18 rail by Zenitco. The way that it works is the irons for the AKS-74U is different from that of the AKM or full size AK74 or AK-100 series. There also isn't many "krinks" (AKS-74Us) with side mounts. So, Zenitco improvised on that and made a picatinny rail mount that screws into the rear sight block on the krinks. Another cool thing about this is that if your optic becomes dead on there, you can still use the regular irons because there is a hole below it that allows it.
It gets better from here. Knowledge of some context of the game helps, which I see other comments are providing. Interested to see you do the next one.
Jamesons Travels escape from tarkov has a game aspect to it, squad is teamwork, arma can be whatever you want. I recommend Squad, i’m playing it rn haha
2:35 The EO Tech is mounted on a rear sight rail. The AK rear sight is forward of the bolt on top of the front trunnion. The mount works by removing the rear sight and securing the rail adapter in the slot that the rear sight previously used. You are correct that the preferred method of mounting is the side optic mount on the receiver. There are several alternate options for AKs (rear sight rail mounts, dust cover rail mounts, gas tube rail mounts), but they don't keep zero well, especially for anything heavier than a micro red dot type optic.
The EOtech is mounted on a side rail. They can also be mounted to a length of pick rail that replaces the rear sight. It has a rudimentary peep sight for back up irons but enough length of pic rail for an EOtech or smaller red dot. They also have several hinged top covers with pic rails that allow mounting of optics or mounting above the gas tube on railed fore end hand guards. There are at least a dozen ways of mounting optics, white lights, lasers and infrared laser / spots to AK's in the game and they're all real world items. The western guns like M4A1's, HK416 and a bunch of others are all highly modifiable too. The Raid series is filmed with real actors to give some narrative to the game. The fictitious city Tarkov is under complete blockade and there is a PMC backed by Russia called Bear who have been sent in to find evidence of wrongdoings by a western multinational involved in all sorts of research and doginess. The multinational has hired USEC a western PMC as security and they're all stuck inside Tarkov with no way to get out. There are locals and deserted PMC's called Scavs who are bandits trying to survive on the fringes. The premise of the game is finding a way to get out of Tarkov. As far s gun play goes in games EFT is as good as it gets. All the Bear fighters are armed with differing AK's. AK104's (7.62x39), AKS74U, AK105's (5.45x39) are the short ones and they have AK74M (5.45x39), AKM and AK103 (7.62x39) for the long barreled AK's. Their sniper has an SV98 in 7.62X54R. As far as body armour goes there are a multitude of different Russian and Western body armor types and helmets in the game.
Hello mr Jameson. The develipers of this game have got some nice licensing deals done and therefore a lot of real weapons and attachments are in the game. There are varuoua ways to mount that eo tech on the ak dustcover. One company that makes very decent but rather expensive rail systems is called zenitco. Not easy to get a hold of in real life but you can import and some stores in the us sell their products. These attachments can also be found in game.
4:49 Incorrect eye aim , and 5:54 the “sniper” who is moving more than a fly on a piece of crap is hunkering behind two car possibility with gas in the tanks, I am sure someone had a grenade with his name on it.
Also, cars burn rather slowly, not explode.when sniper doesn't move, sniper is simply not shown. Someone should beat some common sense into your probably grown up empty arrogant head.
AKs, like AR15s, have a huge selection of aftermarket parts. The reason why the eotech is able to be mounted that way on the ak is because the dust cover was switched to a railed one.
The AK’s are upgraded with a lot of parts from Zenitco which modernizes a lot of AK parts for 103’s and such. One of which is a direct AK dust cover with a rail on top. Actually very sturdy and keeps good zero.
You're extremely adorable because when you concentrate on watching the footage, your head is in the exact same position as in your profile pic, exactly same expression too. This has been one of the most satisfying small details of my whole time in youtube.
They make all sorts of rail mounts of AK platforms now. There's top rails for the handguard, rail sections that replace the rear sight, railed dust covers, and the old side-mounted rails. It's hard to see but I think all of these options are represented in the video. I vote for Part 2!
you can get dust covers with a rail, theres a mount for the iron sights to fit sights, and the dovetail mounts like the cobra. tarkov has taught me so much about AKs that i never knew existed.
This is a a mock-up series based off the game. The 3 faction shown are as follows: 1. The guy in the first scene, the "crackhead" is known as a Scav, or scavenger. they are locals who are neutral in the fight between the other 2 factions. 2. USEC/TerraGroup, a group of mostly US PMC's and scientists sent to the Tarkov region for research purposes, my understanding is they went rouge in the region and caused havoc. 3. BEAR's, A Russian special forces unit setup by the government to combat Terragroup specifically, they also went kinda rouge and now both sides are tearing the region to shreds, turning it into a post apocalyptic society. And the weapon you were unsure of, the guy behind the car, I believe it was an AK-105, couldn't see the optics.

It seemed more that it was a picatinny mount replacement for the rear sight then a dust cover 2:22.
There are the side rail mounts but there are also those top “dust cover” mounts

At the moment when a fighter throws a weapon, two bullets can be seen flying at him. I mean the weapon itself. All videos have subtitles, I guess it will be easier to understand what's going on. It is also interesting to hear how accurate the negotiations of the fighters are.

This seems very much like what is described by Navy SEAL CMCPO James Matto in that situations like this movie are nasty, slippery, unpredictable, and always potentially dangerous. Like Jerry Bruckheimer explained to 3 star Admiral Pete Pettigrew on the making of Top Gun "never let the truth get in the way of a good movie/story" :)
I dunno about that...every war veteran's story of battles of the Vietnam war, say it's not really like the style of this or movies with tons of shooting non-stop. It's still as deadly and chaotic, but slower paced and dragged out over 30 minutes to hours to days.
Edit: but then again that Vietnam was a unique war in many facets. Adrenaline can also help people remember events like this but it can also completely warp or block memories, so stories get made up to seem like battles are constantly fast paced action lots of ammo shooting and explosions.

If youre wondering about the EOtech mounted on the AK, certain variants can accept the TT01, which mounts a PK-06, or similar(Possibly bigger sights) and also turns the rear sight into an open picture if you dont want an optic, or they can accept the TT10000, which is a rail mount for optics designed for the AKM & AK-74, which would run along the entire Dust cover, not just up where the rear sight is, which leads me to believe it is a TT01 Sight mount replacing the stock AK rear sight.
The guy at 07:27 is using a Cobra mount, which in turn acts as a sight rail for AK's with the dovetail mount.

Definitely have them subs on for Pt.2. The 3rd and 4th part is easily the best. As far as the game goes, It's realistic enough to drive away huge parts of the community. The lead developer himself said " the game was never meant to be fun, just realistic"

Couple of things: 1) live action mini series. 2) concepts and things you see like looting bodies can all be done in game. 3) the “crackhead” is called a scav which scavenge around the maps throughout the game. 4) idk if you watched it with the subtitles or not because there is good dialogue that uses Russian military speak. It’s common to have no idea where you’re getting shot from in game, it’s a lot of cover firing. There’s USEC, BEAR, (PMCs)and Scav’s.

He can mount the Eotech by using either a Bastion mount on the AK or a Tactical Tula 1000. The Bastion replaces the conventional "dust cover". Both have Picatinny rails for mounting.

I was also wondering why they did not use grenades while the USEC PMCs were piling up inside the building. In that enclosed building, a grenade would have taken them all out. Why did they not have 40mm grenade launchers in their assault rifles which is standard for an infantry squad.

The hobo in the beginning is a "scav" which is a group of bandits that are composed of the former cities scum. The man wasn't shot in the head but in the shoulder. You can clearly see the entry wound at 3:25. Also, I suggest putting subtitles on so you can understand what they're saying.
At 9:15 you can see the sparks of a round hitting his AK, ultimately making the rifle fly out of his hands.

Yeah they make a loud crack. The only things that really sound similar are subsonics.
The way that he has the EoTech mounted on that AKS-74U is the B-18 rail by Zenitco. The way that it works is the irons for the AKS-74U is different from that of the AKM or full size AK74 or AK-100 series. There also isn't many "krinks" (AKS-74Us) with side mounts. So, Zenitco improvised on that and made a picatinny rail mount that screws into the rear sight block on the krinks. Another cool thing about this is that if your optic becomes dead on there, you can still use the regular irons because there is a hole below it that allows it.

There's alot of newer designed aks or additional attachments fixing the problems of old like rail mounting
2:35 The EO Tech is mounted on a rear sight rail. The AK rear sight is forward of the bolt on top of the front trunnion. The mount works by removing the rear sight and securing the rail adapter in the slot that the rear sight previously used. You are correct that the preferred method of mounting is the side optic mount on the receiver. There are several alternate options for AKs (rear sight rail mounts, dust cover rail mounts, gas tube rail mounts), but they don't keep zero well, especially for anything heavier than a micro red dot type optic.

The EOtech is mounted on a side rail. They can also be mounted to a length of pick rail that replaces the rear sight. It has a rudimentary peep sight for back up irons but enough length of pic rail for an EOtech or smaller red dot. They also have several hinged top covers with pic rails that allow mounting of optics or mounting above the gas tube on railed fore end hand guards. There are at least a dozen ways of mounting optics, white lights, lasers and infrared laser / spots to AK's in the game and they're all real world items. The western guns like M4A1's, HK416 and a bunch of others are all highly modifiable too. The Raid series is filmed with real actors to give some narrative to the game. The fictitious city Tarkov is under complete blockade and there is a PMC backed by Russia called Bear who have been sent in to find evidence of wrongdoings by a western multinational involved in all sorts of research and doginess. The multinational has hired USEC a western PMC as security and they're all stuck inside Tarkov with no way to get out. There are locals and deserted PMC's called Scavs who are bandits trying to survive on the fringes. The premise of the game is finding a way to get out of Tarkov. As far s gun play goes in games EFT is as good as it gets. All the Bear fighters are armed with differing AK's. AK104's (7.62x39), AKS74U, AK105's (5.45x39) are the short ones and they have AK74M (5.45x39), AKM and AK103 (7.62x39) for the long barreled AK's. Their sniper has an SV98 in 7.62X54R. As far as body armour goes there are a multitude of different Russian and Western body armor types and helmets in the game.

The develipers of this game have got some nice licensing deals done and therefore a lot of real weapons and attachments are in the game.
There are varuoua ways to mount that eo tech on the ak dustcover.
One company that makes very decent but rather expensive rail systems is called zenitco.
Not easy to get a hold of in real life but you can import and some stores in the us sell their products.
These attachments can also be found in game.

Also, cars burn rather slowly, not explode.when sniper doesn't move, sniper is simply not shown. Someone should beat some common sense into your probably grown up empty arrogant head.
AKs, like AR15s, have a huge selection of aftermarket parts. The reason why the eotech is able to be mounted that way on the ak is because the dust cover was switched to a railed one.

The AK’s are upgraded with a lot of parts from Zenitco which modernizes a lot of AK parts for 103’s and such. One of which is a direct AK dust cover with a rail on top. Actually very sturdy and keeps good zero.

the rail on top of the AK is called Zenitco B33 its a custom made cover made for the ak to have better mounting solutions then the side rail.
You're extremely adorable because when you concentrate on watching the footage, your head is in the exact same position as in your profile pic, exactly same expression too. This has been one of the most satisfying small details of my whole time in youtube.
They make all sorts of rail mounts of AK platforms now. There's top rails for the handguard, rail sections that replace the rear sight, railed dust covers, and the old side-mounted rails. It's hard to see but I think all of these options are represented in the video. I vote for Part 2!
you can get dust covers with a rail, theres a mount for the iron sights to fit sights, and the dovetail mounts like the cobra. tarkov has taught me so much about AKs that i never knew existed.

This is a a mock-up series based off the game. The 3 faction shown are as follows: 1. The guy in the first scene, the "crackhead" is known as a Scav, or scavenger. they are locals who are neutral in the fight between the other 2 factions. 2. USEC/TerraGroup, a group of mostly US PMC's and scientists sent to the Tarkov region for research purposes, my understanding is they went rouge in the region and caused havoc. 3. BEAR's, A Russian special forces unit setup by the government to combat Terragroup specifically, they also went kinda rouge and now both sides are tearing the region to shreds, turning it into a post apocalyptic society.
And the weapon you were unsure of, the guy behind the car, I believe it was an AK-105, couldn't see the optics.
They put on a different dust cover in order to mount eotech.
