Great review! Of course GW's evil plan is to lure you in with less expensive Spearhead boxes and and then hook you into expanding them into 2000 point AOS armies.
Also you guys even consider warcry? Been considering getting into it. All the rules and card templates are free, you can use most your models and you can use any terrain! Dont need to climb stuff. I'm sure its nieche but if you guys like it ill be here for that too!
Watching now but hope you enjoyed it! I find it great to just set up and play. Also love I can actually use the book and its not insta out of date. That is soooo nice, id buy all books if it was like that.
When I go to the game shop with intent to play a 2k point game of 40k, I still bring 3 Spearheads with me!
Now that's a good review!
I agree! Best game when short of time 👍. Or want a mental break
Even though I like a good long AoS game, the short playtime of Spearhead is a huge benefit.

For sure. It's being used as a marketing tool. But that doesn't mean the game itself isn't good.

@Midgar88 We like Warcry a lot. But honestly, Spearhead has sort of taken over the 1 hour AoS game space for us.
Makes a lot of sense. Especially when you have a good variety of spearheads 🎉
@@Midgar88 Yeah. We like the flow of AoS and Spearhead is great. Warcry is certainly good, too, though.

@@Midgar88 Thanks! Yeah, i hope they keep things stable.
