In the original Japanese version, if you left some of the rats on top of the opera house alive during the initial visit, then lose to them in the WoR, you would be kicked back to WoB, but that was fixed for the international release. The international release still had a very obscure bug where if you go through a lot of hoops (and I mean a *LOT* of hoops; it basically amounts to playing almost the entire WoB section without saving, then doing very specific things before intentionally dying on the floating continent, then doing even more very specific things) to skip certain events in the WoB, then retrigger them in WoR, you could be sent back to the WoB, but the amount of effort you'd have to go through is so insanely convoluted and complex you'd have to be seeking it out; there's no way you could trigger it by mistake.

Thankfully the quick save saved me brought me back to a somewhat close spot. Before Doomgaze, dreamscape, but all dragons are beaten. I guess even in 2022, we get similar corruption. So what you just did is called map warping its a glitch based on how the maps are laid out. You can skip and break the game this is a known speed run tactic it’s basically how the game was made so it cant really be fixed much like the bugs in Link to the Past manipulating the X Y coordinates to get stuff in the game early

@@christaylor86 So, you are ignoring the first sentence in my reply to keep insisting on your opinionated believe. The bug in this video is literally ONE TILE which transitions to the wrong overworld. The game was made from scratch, and bugs just happen in games. The reason why I am actually countering your argumentation is, because SE actually put time effort and money into this project. And I would argue, that the price of this should be more of a concern than the few bugs in this 6 game endeavor. And this is actually just an oversight rather than a bug.
@Neros soreN That's great, keep that opinion.
@@christaylor86 Better than putting ones opinion out, trying to debate it and ignoring facts and being opinionated I guess. You do you tho
You had only one save file lmao
Thankfully the quick save saved me brought me back to a somewhat close spot. Before Doomgaze, dreamscape, but all dragons are beaten.
I guess even in 2022, we get similar corruption. My brother once had to get to skull forest like 3 or times in a row one school week in The link to the past because the cartridge wiggled the wrong way or something. It never ends!
Not a new bug, but I think they've fixed that in other versions...
GOOD double treasures!
@@damiencrossley7497 locke is thrilled!
@@rossdixonellis ....but i realized.....airship, then heardd older town theme, GO to vector!
Uhhh...well...that technically saved the world so...
Lol?
I'm doing my part!
Okay so make a back up save like the old days. Thanks.
Thankfully, there IS an auto save that I had to discover by simply scrolling up on the save menu. So no need.
Thats why I have like 20 saves in any rpg. Lol
So what you just did is called map warping its a glitch based on how the maps are laid out. You can skip and break the game this is a known speed run tactic it’s basically how the game was made so it cant really be fixed much like the bugs in Link to the Past manipulating the X Y coordinates to get stuff in the game early
This is 2 ways to destroy a game: 1 by devs, 1 by gamer.
1) devs breaking the game
2) gamer using one save slot only overwriting with a bugged situation
RIP dozens of gameplay there.
Holy crap this game breaking glitch is huge...Did they fix it yet?
nah i bet it'll be like that on the switch and ps5 lol.
@@rossdixonellis Goddamn really? They have had like a year to fix it. This is my first time playing this game and I don't want to get into this situation. Is there a way to prevent this?
always keep 2 save files
World of Balance:)
What version of the game is this???
Steam version of Pixel Remasters
Which platform is this for?
Steam edition
The sound quality seems worse than the SNES, did they use the GBA version or something?
I do believe they based this off the GBA port, dialogue at least anyways.
Can I use a mouse while on ipad ?
How do I save a pdf with my fone?
LOL Everything Fine! Kefka's a Joke! We can go Home!
can you recreate the bug?
Of course, it's the exit tile that is parallel with that house roof.
Has to be world of ruin version.
It doesn't revert back on that same tile in world of balance version.
Make sure your blackjack airship is ON that continent I guess...
Did you try to progress to see if it a loop?
This game is buggy as hell. Square’s lack of concern is dishonorable to such a great game
they keep adding new bugs with each new release of this game. :/
Final Fantasy 6 is now victim of "modern gaming" aka release broken game and fix later or in square case "leave it to the modders lol"
im almost sure all the versions of ff6 had bugs like that
I mean the original had coding errors leading to glitches and unused material, useless stats and game crashes
Guess Kefka did nothing wrong
Only using one save slot rip 🤦🏻♂️
And umaro, strago, gau, and mog lived happily ever after in Albrook.
Can somebody, please, can explain, WTF just happened?
There's a wrong warp on a particular exit tile that reverts you back to the "world of balance".
I saved over my file before I realized I soft locked. I was at the end of the game.
But all is good. I had an autosave about an hour before this and eventually beat kefka... but did I actually save the world by softlocking? Hmmmm
Pas eut ce bug, mais bon utilisé une seule sauvegarde : Danger !
RISKY! XD XD
Wait a minute.
😆😅🤣😂
Why he only use only 1 slot save?
Because I have testicular fortitude. Also the quick save recovered most of my progress.
