How are the headphones holding up 4 years later? Are they still functional? Are the earpaddings still there? Are they replaceable? Also would have like to see you test the mic quality by recording some sound and playing it back.
I’ll be honest I switched to the gh50 and have been using those as my primary headset since the review and still use them now. I think they use the same materials and have been great and show no real signs of wear and tear

I tried both and I gotta say gh20 is great but after 2hours it gets uncomfortable u should buy gh30 v2 I tried it at the shop for a few minutes but it's comfy and also sounds good and the mic is better than I expected don't believe all those tutorials saying the mic isnt good. Also the mic is detachable and u can take u headset outside since it can be folded so it's a big plus
I bought an msi ge62vr laptop for my nephew and wanted to get him a headset. I decided on the msi gh30 v2 and it sound horrible plugged into the mic and audio jack on the laptop. The bass sound tinny and it was under powered. The mic would echo. Almost gave up on the headset. I forgot I have a Soundblasterx g1 so I hooked it up to the headset and WOW the difference is like night and day. Set it up with the software with 7.1 virtual surround sound and now the headset is worth every penny.
Ibdont know why people dont like plastic, i prefer plastic materials because are durable and arent heavy, other materials like aluminium only rise the price
I just found those for 20$ on amazon, do you think they are worth it or are there any new ones that you recommend at that price? I mention this since this video is from 2019
for 20 dollars you can't really go wrong, it isn't until you get in to the 40-50 dollar range that things really start improving massively, i still think these are decent and for 20 dollars i would go for it

I Mike, hope you and yours are well. How would these compare to my Bose QuietComfort 35 II's? There's a slight difference in price, I know. But I wear my headphones 20 hours per day, so they're worth it. I was going to install my 5700 XT, but I just woke up and it's 3:15 pm here. I think I"ll wait until Tuesday when the R7 3800X and RAM arrives. I may have had a little bit to drink when I put my system together and the cable management in the back looks like a box of Chinese noodles. That's one cool thing about the 011 Dynamic. You can just shove everything inside and close the back. LOL. I'll do it right this time.
the bose are around £200 here so the difference is going to be pretty big i would expect, but for the money they sound pretty decent and very comfortable. Enjoy your noodles :-)

some laptops and mobiles combine the jack into a TRRS plug that looks like a normal 3.5mm but has and extra ring on it, you can get a device that either splits the signal or puts mic and ear in to one, hope this helps

yeah i use it most often when i need to use a headset and the 7.1 expands the sound so much, turning it off sounds like garbage especially in films

the mic is fine, nothing special and not bad, you might also consider the tecware Q5 headset we reviewed, similar price but very good mic
