      Sil, at 6:00, you made monkey bars correct? If so, make a net below it because if children fall: Painful fall, Safety is not good. Besides, some people just want to go by the nets alone to get to the other side.
      Edit: ALSO! Add a bathroom nearby! Children won't walk across the park to get to the bathroom! The parents would let this happen so they could leave the playground. THE CHILDREN WILL STAY IF THEY WANT! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    At last, it can be revealed! A mystery from childhoods at the circus watching the animals on parade is explained by that sage of all things Rudi! They put the camels behind the elephants because camels like elephant butts! THANK YOU! :) BUT SERIOUSLY guys....and of course gal....you know, at the original Disneyland they built, basically, a playground but unlike any other and called it Tom Sawyer's Island. It had rocks to climb, rope suspension bridges, a wonderful bouncy "barrel bridge" across a river, caves to explore, and of course at the center a pioneer cavalry fort, but behind the scenery and theming it was, in essence, a playground. So there's a tradition of such things and for those who only think of theme parks in terms of high tech coasters and animatronics, well....here's what I think has happened to them in the modern era: They've become resort hotel POOLS and WATER parks! Think of the slides, the climbing, and other props at pools at DisneyWorld and at water parks and it is a natural progression! Maybe sometime you guys can put this kind of water slide park playground amongst some of the game's water rides? Thanks!

    I'm still really bummed about Keralis leaving the Koali Krew (see what I did there?) We're now up to episode 19, and still, my favourite part of Koali Beach is the Log flume ride that he made... Hoping for a special guest episode Ft. Keralis soon

    Another thought: Do you guys know what the things are that we Americans call "Whirlygigs"??? They are like complex, animated weather-vanes that move and do things from the wind. It occurs to me that what is kind of missing from this playground is animation AND more color, but all those high towers to climb to could be festooned with whirlygigs of various kinds. Sil, research the "Tower of the Four Winds" which was the "weenie" built for the original "Its A Small World" at the NY World's Fair and you'll see what I mean, and of course it used small motors to animate it, not relying on the wind. But that kind of addition all over this would give it a touch more whimsy and make it more child-attracting.

    10:22 "I love what you can do with ropes man" "Yeah that was basically the idea of this episode, let's see what we can do with ropes."

  • @hardpunkkore9235
    @hardpunkkore9235 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Better late than never, lol. Just kidding.
    I understand what you mean about sight lines for the coaster, but you removed the elephants to install a play ground which still blocks the sight lines, haha.
    Very detailed, Not only are the swings and slides missing, but so is a merry-go-round (not the carousel kind). If this area is going to be kid friendly, the elephants will fit right in. Maybe Delady can make a kiddie ride with a skin or two to install right there. Maybe a stage where the various characters can preform a little stage show for the little ones.
    This park still needs a wing coaster and a dark ride.
    Thanks guys, see you next weekend.

    There was a playground across from the hotel i stayed in Engelberg, Switzerland. It rained in the evening, but during the day-it had that community feel that is devoid in the US (well Engelberg is a small town "inside" a mountain [more like a relativity flat area high up between mountains] so)

    Rudi maybe remembers the german Theme Park: Ketteler Hof, which is basicly a mix of a petting zoo, a giant playground with lot's of trampolines. the parks highlight is an Alpine Coaster and those 16m tall giant slides. During the Alpha Era I even made a Forum Post about adding Playground Areas. In my oppinion it would be really cool have a Kids Zone, with a Kiddy Coaster, Playground and tame rides.

    alright. i was so happy i builded some hanging bridge yesterday before this vid was even launched. now i see the hanging bridge in that playground im like o.0 My bridge now looks really cheap/dangerous and most of all empty.
    really love the details on those bridges. really amazing.
    and to give a sort of feeling back indeed according to ladysigner / Rudi.
    that place really needs a slide xD

    The playground looks amazing!
    I like the layout and especially the connection to the main path - it's opened up, yet closed. You made some good decision there!
    The fence has some weak parts though, the net-fence, for example, is not really that much of an obstacle for kids and having a coaster right behind is pretty dangerous. Maybe the coaster needs an extra fence around it at that part?

    It would be cool if you could fit a shop into that little shed. It might ruin the look though so maybe its a bad idea.
    Also, wouldn't it be cool if there were small food stands? Like hot-dog or cotton candy carts? They could even be portable and the vendors could push them around the park and serve people, kind of like how entertainers stop to put on a show for a few seconds.

    I just found your channel and gotta say you're one hell of a creative guy! One question: I used to make my own dream parks on RCT3 aswell with custom objects etc. and I loved it as a kid! Seeing this video now I was wondering how much of a "learning curve" there is? It looks kinda complicated but watching this makes me want to build something special so badly I could explode!

    • @Silvarret
      @Silvarret  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's not too bad of a learning curve - if you were used to RCT3, especially with custom scenery, this'll actually be relatively easy to pick up! And scenery is much easier to make than in the grid-strict RCT3 system.

    Zoo tycoon does have small playgounds you can put into your park. Can you make a small map of Koali Beach in the park or as a picture everybody can dowload?

    The playground looks like it could kill someone pretty fast, no council would allow that sort of construction here in the UK
