    Too bad they (presumably had to) ditched the V6. Top trim level is pretty handsome and much better than the laughable interiors on Lexus these days. I looked at these but think I am going X5. Not sure how well these have been selling, but not seeing anything here that would encourage sales.

    Great review Anthony. It makes no sense at all to drop the 6 to get 1 mpg improvement. Like you mentioned I doubt that you would even see that if the engine has to rev higher to keep it moving. Too ba d because I really like the looks of this both inside and out. Sometimes these manufacturers just make my head hurt lol! I saw a review of the new Jetta and I really like the way it looks. I'd love to see your review of one if that is one you would consider. The last few generations of Jetta, for me, were just so bland and boring. It got up to 110 here and fortunately I have been able to stay in and soak up the AC. Hopefully you have been able to enjoy the day. Happy Monday and Labor Day Anthony

      I was shocked when I found out the new of the vc turbo engine James. I told my family that we may never buy another Infiniti now 🥺 but let’s see how the engine holds up.
      That’s hot, here was in the 100s with a light rain so I took the fam for some pickleball and basketball but it was back in the 100s to quick so inside for us too lol.
      I am going to be in the next week, hoping to bring it on the channel and I am a huge fan of the Jetta. It’s an affordable and fun vehicle which is very hard to find in today’s market.
      Happy Labor Day James

    I like the engine because from 2k -4k theres so much more power to use compared to having to rev it out. I think the 4cyl.also has a nice growl/snarl and is pretty smooth. I like the v6 for its upper power and smooth low speed operation also. Either would be fine for me. They shiuldve just put the vr30 or something with a v6 turno option would be nice for people who actually want the power.

    Infiniti messed up ditching its V6 in favor of their VC turbo. I’d rather get an inline six Mazda CX90 than the unrefined four cylinder in the QX60. They should’ve made a performance variant using their new 3.5 liter twin turbo. I hope Acura retains its base V6 in the MDX.

    Was waiting for the QX65 with the V6 but looks like that will have the 4. Want to replace my 2014 QX 70 that has 160k miles but cannot find a real sport utility vehicle. Cayenne is the closest but in a different price range and maybe reliability issues.

      @@davidmcmenamin9701 we had the 13,14 and now a 2023 and I’m not happy with the outcome this year around. Infiniti dropped all sedans, v8 and almost definitely the qx55 plus the maybe the qx50. I don’t want to see another Toyota / Lexus meaning how similar the vehicles are and it seems that Infiniti is going that way with them even updating the Rogue with an Infiniti badge. Great vehicles but maybe focus on what customers want not rebadging.
      We looked at Porsche a few years back and are considering one too but the service is crazy expensive. It’s hard to find what Infiniti gives at its price and reliability. But let’s wait and see as they did drop the cvt so maybe Infiniti will return the v6 for a more performance version as the new qx65 is another game changer if they don’t wait forever to release it like the qx55.

      @HawkeyeRides หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@kelee4730 I don’t think you are adding the lifespan to that engine for the curb weight of the vehicle. This engine wasn’t made for this size vehicle. Any engine is fine but to change from a max tow of 3500lbs to 6k, upping the max payload and curb weight with an increase of 8lb ft. That is not something that makes me feel confident about this engine choice as it is the same vc turbo in smaller vehicles. It’s not about speed as the v6 is slow too, it’s about the math and if Infiniti only did a few tweets then it is the incorrect size for this vehicle. That’s why I said let’s wait and see how it is. As I also stated I am on my third Infiniti, love the brand but this change is like going back to a cvt.
