Im a few miles from the main gate on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country. This land has been owned by my family since 1887. It's dark out here and I'm by myself. My good friends Mr Smith & Mr Wesson are always here with me.
It looks pretty good. They’re chip sealing huge swaths of the roadway and pretty much everything here is kept in good shape. I grew up in Aberdeen which looks vastly different.
Chicago and final rain has ended tonight, yet in different counties rain and tornadoes have touched down. I'm ready to relax and thankful the tornados didn't get us but heavy rain.
