Thank you Simon, very eloquently put. We lost our Mum on Christmas Eve 2020 after a long illness. She knew she didn’t have long, we all stayed away in her final months to help protect her and my Dad, we didn’t get to sit with her like we all used to as a family, we didn’t get to be close, it was only telephone calls and when allowed a short distanced conversation through the front door. The government and its advisors had her and us absolutely petrified, she was afraid to be admitted to hospital but still clapped for the NHS, she couldn’t go to sleep without keeping her bedroom light on because of the nightmares she was having. We too were ‘lucky’ in comparison that we could only be with her in her final hours in hospital while she was fighting and still worrying about her loved ones.
It’s very clear that the ‘rules’ that applied to all of us did not apply to Boris and the gang. I hope that their actions haunt them for the rest of their days and beyond, the damage they have done to the people of this country will be felt for generations.
Love to you and your family x
Love you Mum, from all of us xxx

Johnson wants to party like it's 1939 doing his best Churchill impression.

    • @SaguarosPlants
      @SaguarosPlants 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

There Boris sat, wanting his own problem to solve like Churchill, the whole country looking to him for leadership and guidance, and instead of stepping up he decided to carry on as he always has, do what he likes, say what he likes and make sure every action can on someway benefit him. Any Conservative voter now has an opportunity to stand up where their leader could not and show unity with the rest of the country and ask for better from the Conservative party.

Never mind 'resigning', he should be fired, along with everyone else that was at the 'business event' that apparently allowed wives to attend. Also everyone that attended the party inside No.10 the night before the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral should go.
ANYone in government who was involved in breaking the lockdown regulations that the rest of the country was forced to endure has lost all credibility in my book and should be thrown out of office.

I totally agree Galerak. Does anybody else find it curious that no list of attendees at ANY party has been produced yet?

Agree, wholeheartedly. I also think of the people who live alone and were so very lonely - not allowed to leave their homes unless for shopping or exercise - craving some company, while others were having a PARTY!

The police absolutely had to know about these partys ,the guard downing Street.
Cressida Dick must be sacked, she would have been fully aware of these partys and I'd she wasn't then she should be sacked for a breach od security .
Where is the CCTV footage, where is the fire register, there must be one for fire regulations.
Every single one of them must be sacked.

Now you why not long ago, she was given an extra two years in post, despite her long failing upwards record (Johnson and Patel seeing a kindred spirit perhaps), including involvement in cover ups, including for corruption, not having enough police to deal with the thugs at Euro 2020 but months before, sent the riot squad to disperse a peaceful vigil for a woman kidnapped, raped and murdered by one of her officers.
(And she had the helpful advice to stop a bus in a similar situation).

I count myself lucky to have had the opportunity to be with my dying wife in the same hospital room over 5 days and nights in September 2020 before the pandemic. At least I was able to say goodbye to her in her final hours. She was only 50 and a brilliant scientist. I miss her terribly. I can barely imagine what bereaved families have been through having never being able to say goodbye to their loved ones in person. Plus the audacity of our PM makes my blood boil.

    "There were no parties"
"I've been reliably informed no parties took place"
    "No rules were broken"
    "I wasn't there"
"I'm furious so a head will role a week before her contract runs out anyway"
"It was a business meeting with wine and cheese"
"I know nothing about my private secretary inviting 100 people for an event in the garden"
"We need an investigation to ascertain whether or not I was there at the event in the garden"
    "I'm sowwee"
Boris Johnson Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The man who caused Brexit to seize personal power, the man sacked as a "journalist" for falsifying stories, the man twice sacked from the cabinet for lying over financial impropriety and the man threatened by the IRS in the USA with extradition back to his home country over tax evasion charges.

He is keeping his head down and sending out his grovelling minions to buy time thinking he can blag it out as he has always done. They need to know that deflecting answers with things like let’s wait for the full report and a mischievous smile is insulting.

    • @rusty911s2
      @rusty911s2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@jjefferyworboys8138 Sorry, that just doesn't wash. Yes, people broke the rules, but that's completely different to setting the rules, ensuring they were policed in a draconian and unsympathetic manner, then breaking the very same rules, denying it to the public until all other options expired and even then throwing everyone under the bus first.
It's one thing for you to break the rules. It's quite another to tell others to follow the rules at exactly the same time you are not merely breaking them, but doing it time after time after time in the most blatant manner, most likely as the Downing Street police looked on.
Additionally, we were meant to be working from home if possible. These people weren't running a foundery, making cars or building ships: most had no reason to be there at all. Companies up and down the land spent fortunes to find ways of home working. No, the whole attitude was one of disconnect: a gang of posh, entitled, privately educated and ultimately corrupt Tories who have brought this country's reputation to its knees.
Find some better friends to defend.

A further serious issue is the NHS are admitting babies and very young children with omicron as a precaution?
Ask all the parents of babies and children who couldn't get a doctors appointment and were sent home with high temperatures before this???
The precautions before were considerably lower????

Nepotism, Boris Johnson and his team were running the country working 18 hour days through the pandemic had a break and had some cheese and wine, big deal. His father had poor health and was in his mid 70s. This man is a professional victim.

Yes it is utterly offensive and Jacob Rees Mogg has just made it even more so saying ....well maybe the rules were hard to follow - god man, where is your intelligence? Yes, hard to follow but most of the public did and yet you the law makers couldn't follow your own laws.
