@ReconNarwhal I thought about it, but Giratina's pretty explicitly associated with death through the Turnback Cave, and of the two, he's the one you actually fight, even serving as the climactic fight (or "climactic" if you use a Master Ball) of the Team Galactic plot in Platinum. Definitely felt more like Nyx's vibe.

I know that P3DS is lacking in certain areas, such as no FES content and the graphics looking crispy, but I still think this is one of the best games on the DS, up there with Pokemon Platinum and New Super Mario Bros. It's a shame this port is barely acknowledged, because it really helped me during my high school years. Thanks for keeping P3DS's legacy alive!
So many memories came back , I remember playing this DS demake mod on 2017 , me and my friends couldn’t believe a madman had ported the PSP version in such a creative way ! ❤❤❤

It's a shame that they had to change the script for P3DS, but it freed up room for the Super Mario cameo and the Toys R Us exclusive Personas.

A lot of people don’t know this but if you had SMT for GBA in the second cartridge slot you could unlock some Persona 4 Personas. Always a neat thing that devs used go out their way to do. I miss P3DS, even though at the time I will admit I wished it was on the PSP. Surely they could’ve fit the game and not just a visual novel.

I don't have any nostalgia for Pokemon soundfonts but this still resonates with me for being in the DS. Thus, I cried when I heard this in-game. I don't understand why people care about reload when you have the genuine definitive version here. Yeah the visuals suffered, but like, having the enemy debilities displayed at all times in the touch screen instead of manually analyzing again each time that you wanted to see them is just wonderful.

To this day, this is still the best port if Peesona 3, its impressive that Atlus figured out how to release the game on DS

Nicely done! Great use of the DPPt soundfont. My only gripe with it is the piano delay sounds a tad wonky, but that's the only remotely negative thing I have to say. All in all a wonderful job, and I hope you continue to output content :))

A real shame that due to P3DS' low sales in Japan, it never made its way over the West. There were some amazing features that didn't become series staples until P3R (like the Rewind feature!).
The secret boss where you faced off against Igor was such a cool addition that just doesn't appear in any other game. The merging of Makoto & Kotone's routes where both would appear also kicked ass.

Persona Q and Q2 might be able to scratch that itch for you, and while the 3ds can't emulate a PSP, you can make a P3-themed 3ds by homebrewing it. It's actually really easy. All you need is a blank SD card, a copy of Mario Kart 7, and 2 hours.

Would be really cool to see someone try to remake a Persona game as a Pokémon romhack for GBA/DS
ngl, but persona 3 portable could have been demade for the ds. Lots of smt games were already available on the ds in the classic first person dungeon crawler style of rpg. Like, something about p3p's interface rings the need for a ds stylus. Heck, i think there were a few smt games even on the gameboy that were first person as well: digikids devil saga (?) i think it was called? The sequeals were never released outside of japan but fan patches exist.
P3ds really insane how they just overhaul the whole thing and use the same style like persona 2. Also strega social link really nice touch . To bad fes content only exits in 3ds port.

Hex editors are cringe and im impatient and cant work like the cracked up college kid i used to be. one time i tried hacking king kong on the psp to load the ps2 content since the psp port had levels stripped but also implemented co-op multiplayer: another dead project on the trash heap of things i failed to complete.
some ppl prefer the ps2 version because of the graphics, but i really like the scaled-down chibi-like models, they were really cute. i’m not a big fan of the more vis-novel elements that replaced many of the cutscenes (they were 3D in ps2 version). i liked this game, maybe it’s the nostalgia but idk
