Don’t you find it annoying to constantly have to take the money out when you spend it and then get yourself change and replace it back in the envelope etc.? I was originally going to do it this way with the prop money I had custom made, but then I decided to use trackers instead.
not at all :) i actually really enjoy it. i don't have to get myself change as i have all of the prop notes i need with me when i unstuff. numbers on a tracking sheet don't mean much to me, which is why other budgeting methods haven't worked for me. taking in and out the prop money, actually holding it in my hand helps me visualise and keep on track.
@@TheModestAesthete so you only do it at the end of the week? Not per transaction? Then if you had multiple transactions how do you know what you have left to spend if you don’t do it after a purchase?
