    I am saving this video in watch later because of all the info put into this video. Elegant, well-kept collection.
    I believe you will like the production “1929” knife from Finch; it comes in micarta, Coppola and bone scales

    NICE collection... I collect mostly locking, modern folders, but I'm starting to respect slip joints and "traditional" knives.

    Wow! Wow! You have an awesome knife collection. Your knives would look great in Pelican 1450 case. They would be better protected. They would not rub up against each other. They would be much better protected from moisture. And they would look awesome in a Pelican case. You have a really nice collection. I want to get into GET knives. The Barlow is an awesome knife.

    I wish I had Alchemy's income. I've watched his vids for over a year and a half, and his collection is spectacular! But, not a modest-priced blade (for my budget, anyway) in the group. Those that can, do. Seriously, good work Alchemy. I've learned a lot watching you.

      Andrew Massanet Thanks for the kind words. That’s my main goal...to spread and share/swap info. Hahaha! The knives have come over 10-12 years and lots of buying, selling, and trading. 👊

    Absolutely beautiful collection I'm just starting to dabble in the traditional knives but I have a ton to learn it seems that there is way more terminology and history that goes into each one of them and that's what intrigues me I love learning about all different types of knives from new innovations in the modern knife world to the vast amount of history in the traditional world. I think the next traditional I want to find is one with the heat treat scale left on it and an easy open pinch notch with either a beautiful clip point or a nice pen/spearpoint with a nice top swedge. Damn you now after seeing all your beautiful ones I want so many of them. Thanks for showing them all I know it can be a pain in the neck at least I know when I did my last slip joint collection vid it was a pain tracking them all down cause I have them in so many different places around the house lol. Well brother hope your having a great day talk to you later

      None are available anymore...unless someone sells one on a forum somewhere. GEC knives are basically like gold nuggets now, EVERYBODY wants them and are giving waaay too much for them! But, they ARE the best made slip-joints on earth.

    Nice review, I've got quite a few myself.the last four GEC knives I bought QC went to shit,broke back spring (navy knife) gaps between handle material, off center blades etc.there not cheap. I quit buying and quit carrying.

    • @Alumapro23
      @Alumapro23  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Randy Brown I hadn’t had the same experience, but I have had one or two that needed work and more than a few Northwoods. That’s what I stopped buying. I don’t see how Northwoods and GEC are made in the same place, by the same people, cost more, but have more issues.

    Awesome videos and content you put out man! Keep up the good work. Would you do a video about knife values? Either to carry a knife or not. Like, if you found one that was limited production. Is it worth using or keeping it unused. I’m more of a user and switch off my carry every week. But if I was to find a Green Banana bone, I would feel kinda bad using it but then again dose it matter?

    Are knives with a secondary blade comfortable in hand?

    • @Alumapro23
      @Alumapro23  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      srvbluesmaster That’s a difficult question to answer. It depends on the knife, the hand shape/size, and knife joint type (sunken joint or not). Most people eventually end up owning multibladed knives.

    • @Alumapro23
      @Alumapro23  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Patrick La Shell No worries, man. 66 is he number of the pattern. Every pattern has a number and some have a name and a number. The 66 is also know as the Calf roost and other names depending on the blade configuration.
