something is missing... the actual interview :: at First they ask my name and then about English grammar and present a summary about a thing like about the economy or about the country or about the dowry system. then ask HSC best maTHS LIKE integration differential MATH and functions. after completing interview they will decide about candidate.. Hello sir, I'm currently preparing for the brac university admission test. I have a question for you.
Although I wanted to study in Genetic engineering and biotechnology, my parents are telling me to pursue pharmacy due to the subject having a larger job sector in our country. But my question to you is that is it worth studying pharmacy in bracU/NSU if i also intend to do more research in this field in the future after my higher education? Or in this case should I just try for genetic engineering?

Hello sir, I want to study in microbiology in BRAC. But I'm confused, should I take microbiology or pharmacy. If I think about our job sector, Which subject is more demanding? I think microbiology has a better prospect. You can do further research in this field. Think about higher studies afterwards. This is just my opinion. But ask yourself where do you want to see yourself after completing the degree.
sir please tell us something about credit transferring from BRACU to abroad. What is the process and after which semester can we apply and what are our options and what CGPA should we maintain in order to apply for it and how much of a scholarship can we get? I do not have all the information about admission to different departments. Better to check with the admissions office. For interview here are my tips -
- why are you taking this course
- what do you know about this course
- how do you think this course will help in your life
- any basic knowledge about this field/recent trends
And most importantly the interviewers want to understand your communication skill, ability to speak spontaneously

You will get admission directly as far as I know. But still double check with admission office as the rules may have changed.

You have to sit written test and if you are successful then you have to attend an interview session.
They don't take written test!

Sure you can take admission into MBA program. For preparation you need good English speaking skill, good result in undergrad and some general knowledge in your field.

There’s a written test and a viva afterwards. As far as I know none of the tests go to much into the subject detail, rather they check general knowledge, basic communication skill, comprehension skill etc.

As far as I know the written and viva tests do not go much into the details of the course. Because, one didn’t study this discipline before would have no understanding of the area. But you need to demonstrate basic knowledge of math, biology etc. the most important thing is your general knowledge about the field and also your basic communication skill. There will be both written and viva exam. Your basic knowledge in math, biology etc will be tested. Also your basic communication skill, fluency in English speaking will be tested.

The questions will assess your basic understanding on Biotechnology. So just have clear understanding on the various latest development in this field.

Along with being confident you also have to answer properly to be selected. You also need to qualify the written exam.

I don’t thing there will be questions from HSC. As mentioned in the video, the questions are mostly related to your basic knowledge about the field of study, future plans and most importantly how confident you are to communicate effectively.

What I gathered from other students who took part in CSE exams are some basic knowledge on physics, math etc. but it will mostly aim to understand your basic communication skill, fluency in English.

This should not be a problem and not impact your viva. While interviewing you can mention this to the people in the viva exam and they will consider this.

If you have qualified for the viva then the admission office will send you details of how the viva will be conducted. Sometimes viva can be conducted online, so you have to be prepared for that.

Of course BRACU first and then NSU. But most universities have more or less average quality courses. It really depends how much you can get out of the university. There are students who did well even after studying from non recognised university. See my other video on key things to takeaway from university degree.

Look you can divide the Bangladeshi private institutions into three different categories- a, b and c. And you know which ones would be in the ‘a’ category. So definitely the degree will be better from the ‘a’ category universities (BU, NSU).

Look I always tell everyone that the university matters probably 40% and rest of it depends on what can you learn from it and what you do afterwards with that learning. BU is a private university like any other private universities. But it does have some competitive advantage compared to other universities. So you need to get the most out of wherever you study. Short answer is - BU is good for all courses.

The overall interview can take between 15 - 20 mins. So you should take at least 2- 4 mins for each answers. The interviewer can ask follow up question on your answers.

Can i get admission in brac university in BBA with a conditional letter without my hsc/ a level result? For January 2023 semester. So for that what can we do?
As there was a note inside of the BRAC website, if anything wasn't in his/her own willingness problem. Then there will be possible to get admission.
And my examination is going to finish on Dec 13. So for starting the semester jan 2023 what process or procedure do i need to do for this.

I think it is not possible unless you have completed your HSC. You need to have certain CGPA to get admission. Better complete your HSC with a good CGPA first. Then you have to go through the admission hurdle.

Does BRACU allow it's students to take internships or offer them internships during their studies?
Of course, there are range of internship opportunities for BRACU students in all faculties. There are lots of clubs which offers access to lot of extra curricular activities.

I think all of the programs at BU are great. In the private university space BU is definitely top class.

CSE is the largest school in terms of student enrolment in BRAC university. So that tells the story by itself.
স্যার আমার আরো একটি প্রশ্ন ছিল সেটি হচ্ছে আমার এক বান্ধবীর এসএসসি এবং এইচএসসি দুটি তেই GPA-5 ছিল তাই ওর exam না নিয়ে সরাসরি ভাইভা নিয়ে ছিল। আমার ও ডাবল gpa আছে তাহলে আমার ও কি direct এক্সাম না নিয়ে ভাইভা নিবে??

Don't take admission for EEE in Brac. You can choose AIUB for EEE. But if you want to study in CSE, Pharmacy, Architecture or BBA then Brac will be good option. But not a wise decision for EEE.

It is better to do your research before taking the decision to enrol in any course. I suggest you go through BU’s EEE school website and check the faculties who will teach the course. There are some top quality researcher and scholars in BU who teach EEE. So you have to make the choice depending on the information.
