Drove the Seltos Turbo DCT. It was good. Will try the Sonet too. The only reason I don’t consider it is because of its small size, narrow rear seat and lower ground clearance.True, Tata and Mahindra both need to work on the fit and finish of their products.
In a NA ice you just have to downshift to get the necessary power preferably to 2nd or 3rd gear. I NA engines are more practical than turbocharged as they encompass performance and efficiency better than turbocharged. The later is suitable for enthusiasts and recreational drivers.
In the sub compact SUV segment Xuv 300 is the most fun to drive with a very peppy engine,it’s hoot to drive a pure driver oriented car. Nexon stands second. But definitely Nexon is the most VFM product in the segment.

I found Kia Sonet to be nothing more than a beefed up hatchback.Pathetic rear seat space,hatchback like suspension and substandard build quality of Kia cars. If driven in city then it might be a good choice.For reference, i recently test drove the new seltos and I didnt find much of an upgade over Nexon.The test drive car was 10k driven and the doors already had rattling noises. None of the Kia or Hyundai cars in my family have aged well.
