The "Gorou" encounter wasn't scripted btw, just a funny coincidence. Also, glad about it cause it showed how strong Gorou can be. And thanks again to all the people smarter than I am for pointing out the abyss flaws. Apparently Itto needs some time to snapshot Gorou buffs.

When you were comparing Bennet and gorou in abyss, there were two things which gave Bennet an advantage, first you made the picked up a crystalize shield which activated geo resonance boosting itto's damage with Bennet. Second after using gorou's burst you switched to itto and immediately used his burst, but the problem is itto doesn't instantly get gorou's buff upon switching in so he didn't get to snapshot gorou's defence boost giving gorou a disadvantage.
Edit: People in the reply section have also commented on the usage of itto's normal attacks instead of his charged attacks which scale more off of his defence. Gorou's buff will definitely shine more when using charged attacks. Thanks for the reminder!
Also, he compared the durations of buffs but ignored that Gorou's buff is also active during his E. So much more buff coverage.

Yeah there are some moments in this where it's kinda clear Moga doesn't really know how Gorou works compared to Bennett. When I use Gorou and Itto I always use Itto's E before his Q so he has time to snapshot the buffs

@@DrunkenEros litterally stand in gorou field for half a second untill you see the paw icon on Ittos head.
So instead of quickswap burst wich is ALT key plus the character slot on pc and pressing they burst icon next to the character on mobile.
Just manual swap to itto
Count to 1 and then burst
If only there were some 4* Geo character whose build is similar to Itto you also could have tested. A character like that would be absolutely maid for this test.

Oh regarding why Albedo's dmg decreased. It's one of the current major bugs.
With Cinnabar Spindle, if you hit any shielded enemies with albedo (like you did to that pyro mage) the weapon's passive deactivates indefinitely.. Only way to fix is un-equipping the weapon and re-equipping it again. or relogging in..

Itto charged attacks scale off of DEF, so Gorou buffs those more than Bennett
You were testing normal attacks which don't scale off of def
Also ningguang doesnt depend on def

his itto gains a shield from the crystallize reaction from bennet, and activates geo-resonance.
gorou would be an insane boost for albedo, noelle or itto, but not for any other dps since they scale like normal characters with atk
Itto doesn' t only have charged attacks that scale off defense, his ult converts defense into attack, so everything in his kit benefits from it
The problem with the video is probably that when he used Itto' s ult immediately after switching he didn' t snapshot Gorou' s buff, which made Itto not get all the benefits from it

@@thedemocraticfilipino6417 cause it requires enough mora and xp books as it does to reach lvl70 ( from 80 to 90), i could lvl up another character i need till lvl 70 and not be broke on Mora 💀

i like how moga genuinely tires to compare the damage difference between gorou and bennett as itto's supports and then theres me who just uses both their ults at the same time for itto for that big pp damage
when u tested gorou in min 8, you proced crystallize with bennet activating the geo resonance, but because u didn't have any shield with gorou you didn't activate geo resonance. UwU
yeah i was gonna said this as well. Geo resonance boost the damage by a lot

@@kay.1438 hey since you’re a ningguang main could you tell me which is better R5 dodoco tales or a R1 Widsth I currently is letting her hold onto to ddc tales because of the charge attack boost and because one of the boost the widsth gives is elemental mastery which she doesn’t need
@@tntexpoder1012 Kinda hard to tell you which one is better but in my opinion, if your ning already has decent crit rate/dmg ratio, keep using the dodoco tales. Especially if your ning actually stay on the field longer (not quick swap) because as you said, the charged attack bonus is very nice for her!
I like this specialized support deal that mihoyo is doing, i just hope they do that revisiting old characters like hu tao with thoma, i would love to have a specialized xiao suport
Maybe that characters skill could be called up draft or sumn, a buff that follows the active character and boosts all types of attacks and the attack speed as well.
C4 Albedo increases xiaos plunging dmg by 30% when inside his E :)
@@lyn165 That is a constelation 4 of a 5* that only gives 30% damage bonus and xiao's kit is already full of damage bonus %, thats not compared to what gorou gives to itto for example
Heizo is supposedly a 4* anemo supp that’s for xiao like shenhe is for ayaya or gorou is for itto or Sara is for raiden. Leakers said it will give anemo res shred like c4 Jean.

By the way, if you all didn't know.. If you go to Watatsumi Island (Sanganomiya Shrine) at the statue of the seven go to a girl that is bending down to a rock, ( a world quest) you will get an enkanomiya quest. I did it incase we need the pearls to go to Enkanomiya. The quest is short but its worth the 160 primogems total for one wish. I already finished it, you had to do some puzzles (easy ones, the first one **elemental sight** and **elemental reaction** is needed so use pyro or cryo for this since it is an electro orb but in elemental sight vision. I quite forgot what puzzles were on the 2nd puzzle, but the 3rd and 4th are water puzzles like those statues with a hole filled with water orb if you have done one of those. At the end of the quest, you get a pearl. Maybe you may need it, then after that you are done. The world quest is from Tsukuyo and it is named The Moon Bathed Deep. I hope you see this, it is important for you to get informed.

Bennett increases ittos attack whereas gorou increases his defence
Ittos charged attacks scale off defence so when using the stacked charged attacks, gorou will allow him to do significantly more dmg whereas the normal attacks will give relatively similar dmg to bennet

I think u missed the point with gorou while doing a compatitive showcase alongside Bennet with itto as dps, u didn't use gorou's E to buff ittos defence which converts it into atk so itto will prolly deal more dmg
activating gorou's burst automatically gives all the buffs from his skill, and additionally procs his first ascension passive which is a 25% DEF boost, so unless you need particles, its honestly not needed to waste time placing his skill

Moga you need to use Ninnguang's charged after her ult because she is C6. Her charged atk after ult is insane due to 7 shards!

@@ouju I think the reason is not because of this comment but many others are just straight up being rude and saying he just wants to pay his rent which may not be wrong but in many of his videos he always says he wants to go in blind and he does learn such as in this video where he walked through the jade barrier and I think the person you replied to just got tired of hearing people asking him to do such and such
Ningguang's damage is unstable because you have Lost Prayers equiped.
You should check ittos charged attack with gorou buff and you should also maybe use ittos skill during his ult as it does more damage than the last hit of his charged attack
When comparing Gorou and Benny you didn't use Gorous E - skill. Maybe that is why Itto dmg was so much worse.
Gorou's E and Q both provide the same buffs, the Q just also does instances of geo damage and draws in crystalise shards

I love Gorou and I'm so happy with him, bc now I can team him up with my Benny to help Zhongli. Thanks to him I was finally able to do +100k with my Zhongli's burst. I think he is a great support for Geo charas!

I'm not sure but maybe the reason why your Itto does more damage with benny boost instead of Gorou burst is cuz Itto doesnt have enough defense for the Gorou burst to surpass Benny burst. Or maybe Benny will just be the best 4 star support in the history of ever, idk.

This is true. Bennet with a 5star could increase ATK by 900-1k
But Gorou could just give at best 392 to DEF
Then with Itto who converts it to ATK, that's just 784 points.

One thing moga, after gorou used his burst, when switch back to itto do not use burst immediately, try to do one basic then burst, for some reason if you burst too fast, gorou's talent that 25%def will not be added to itto's burst attack boost

This video reminds me of your yanfei video..... you missed a few things like your weapon lost prayers loosing stacks on ning and the abyss crystal thing you need to read up on them a bit more but overall great testing you just need to play them more to understand
Using Itto with normal attacks is like sitting on a tv and watching a couch.

What would happen if your team is itto, gorou, sara, bennett unlimited damage
Itto's passive gives a boost to his CA based on his DEF, so Gorou is better based on Itto's CA playstyle
Your gorou and bennet test wasn't a fair comparison as itto didn't even get the defence buff from gorou. It takes a sec to activate on each character that enters the field, and itto's ult snapshots based off his current defence at the time of activation. Activating it instantly like you did before the buff kicks in only gives you the crit and doesn't give the defense damage bonus to his ultimate.
Just use gorou and Bennet together like I do.
My team is Noelle gorou Bennet and I'm waiting for yunjin. I have geo traveler or ninguang as a 3rd geo place holder to activate gorou level 3 buff
Itto benifits more from gorou since not only does gorou increase geo damage but he also increases def so yeah and you could also add elbedo to your team with gorou

My Gorou was C0, and I was trying to pull for Faruzan. In 100 pull I managed to get Gorou at C6... but no Faruzan.
Now I am almost obliged to level him up.
Should I continue pulling for itto or save my primogems for zhongli? I don't have itto yet and my only shield character is Noelle ( I have diona but she's lv 20). I need answer :)
Perhaps one is better then the other, but combining them would be the true one.
I noticed that the boss respawns due to teleporting. I tried using the serenity pot and it seems to work well. Saves a bunch of time for me.

Every boss goes into cooldown when they are killed.
You can check when they respawn by checking your adventure book.
Gorou is more than just a geo support, since he got like so low base DEF theres another to build him. Generally itto just need his banner's presence BUT not his DEF stats. I'll leave the thinking to you, maybe you could think of it faster than others on this. (You'll get god mode raiden/keqing as main dps or burst support like xq beidou n even thoma as well as others)
Tips : It's old long forgotten artifact sets.
I think elemental mastery and energy recharge would fit gorou very much scince his ult attracts crystals which woud be convernient if ur shield is in CD
man im so glad a gorou player joined by complete accident, moga was just sounding so disappointed initially, but so satisfying when he saw gorou's real buff capability for itto later on 😂
