Lanzarote Vlog Part One | Canary Islands | Travel Day! | Exploring The Canaries | October 2022

- Welcome! I'm Corey Giles, a theme park, vacation and events vlogger from the UK.
Come and join me and my partner Roxy as we vlog a last minute trip to Spain! We've always wanted to visit the canary islands, so we decided to head to Lanzarote for a bit of winter sun. We flew to Lanzarote with TUI Airlines on a short haul flight which was rather new to us as we're pretty used to long haul flights at this point! We flew from London Luton Airport on a freezing cold early morning, but it was definitely worth it for the hot sunny weather we had when we got there! our luggage simply consisted of a super small hand luggage suitcase which we shared, and that was plenty enough. On our descent we could see the volcanoes surrounding the island which was quite a sight to behold! We had even learned there was still a volcano still active on the island! Once we landed, we boarded our shuttle to our all inclusive resort, Apartamentos Ficus, which was just a short walk from the beach. The hotel was perfect, with a nice sized swimming pool surrounded by palm trees, spacious apartments and plenty in the area to do. Me and Roxy loved getting on the snooker table for a game or 10! The all you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with the snacks and drinks brought quite a selection to this getaway also! After a room tour, we thought it would be a good idea to head down by the pool to sunbathe but quickly realised that relaxing isn't something we could do super easily, so we went exploring around the area instead. The Spanish locals were super friendly and helpful, and the shopping areas nearby had plenty of souvenirs and alternative dining. We loved travelling here and vlogging the trip for you, so I hope you enjoy!
