WTF yo there some straight up real-life scratching going on when they add in the cross-fades like that. My eyes were darting back and forth trying to keep up! This is now one of my fav mixes.

How did you do this FC by playing both players?
I went to the Battle Mixes and synced up two DJ Hero controllers, and played each side on Expert and recorded both. Then I put them together into one video and laid over the audio from the mix (and edited in the freestyle stuff - sorta).

so how'd you do this? did you record two cuts of playing P1 and P2, split the videos up visually to put both sides on the same screen, then split up the audio to make it sync up?
if so, it's quality work. nice FC!
Yeah, so I record both sides of the battle mix (P1 + P2) and then I use Vegas to blend and sync them together so it looks like the battle mix is being played normally (although you'll notice that both checkpoints are being won by both sides which is just a little sneaky thing I like to do). Then I toss the hands view above each lane, and overlay the audio from the mix so it syncs up perfectly with both sides.
It's a little tricky to edit in the freestyle sections because obviously each one is going to be different, but I do my best. Sometimes both sides have freestyle sections at the same time (which is really weird) and that's why you'll hear notes being missed (because the audio that is being freestyled might still have the sound of the other side missing some notes).

I've been meaning to ask, Where'd you get the skin for your Turntable? considering it's such an old controller now, I imagine skins for them are hard to come across?
Yeah they are. This is my friend's controller and he ordered the skin online
I have 4 turntable controllers,2 reg and 2 black n gold renegades,but i used to battle myself too but it was only on hard.let me know if u ever wanna unlock my expert achievements for me lol

It is, I managed it once or twice but there was no way I was hitting it consistently enough to shoot for the FC

Took a long time to get this one the way I wanted it. I recorded both sides and then laid over the actual track itself
I had to get more Xbox 360 Activision fucked this game off it could have been way bigger
