Most shells that I see are around 4-5 oz. They can range in some small areas down to 2.5-3 oz or even up to 7-8 oz. Both of these extremes are rare. You can split down the shell but it severely reduces the tensile strength
Do you sell these? I have both Horween and Shinki Hikaku and one Rocado wallet. My intense blue colored wallet is soft and supple. Some people like the consistency of shinki hikaku
So many beauties! That marbled cigar is wayyyy too cool.
I've been getting messages all day about the marbled cigar. This feedback helps. I'll twist Horween's arm the best that I can to get more.
I would love to buy some marbled cigar for craftin. Shame its only a limited run. Lovely wallets, love the videos.
Yeah I have been really enjoying the marbled cigar. I need to annoy the tannery for more
@@AshlandLeather if you have any luck let me know. Ill buy some !

Indeed I do!
@AshlandLeather Thanks 😊. Do you think Shinki Hikaku is consistent in thickness and texture?
@@eijiroinouye4115 I like Shinki. I have seen some shells vary in weight and texture...but all shells do
I wonder how many times he said shell cordovan
Couple two tree times

Mass production. Machine stitch is not good-looking. probably selling them cheap.
Hey, Bazlur. Thanks for the comment.
Not true and they aren’t cheap
