Not low key. I can score 50 with only five dribbles. Spacing and knowing where to be on the court is a skill and requires IQ. I can tell you how many times dude should of stayed corner but instead rolled up to hash, resulting in a bad pass from the paint and most likely a brick from the shooter. Knowing when to drop down to the corner, timely cuts, and when to dex is definitely a skill and requires IQ most 2k players don't have. Even players that consider themselves comp are trash at spacing and when to fill certain spots on the court.

I don't have an issue with Rhythm shooting having a bigger buff then button ppl should be rewarded for learning a new feature bt im tired of paying for bring consistent. At this point I go no higher the bronze glove on my builds.. focus more on blocks and rebounding

The issue is kids want a decent hit rate with "80+ 3PT , 80+Passing , etc but don't want defenders to have a high hit rate with 95+ defensive attributes its disrespectful & alarming how sweet people want shit to be .

Vote kick system needs to be added for bad team mate grade. For example, don't auto kick players that get an F incase they're your friends in a 5 stack, but allow players to vote kick if it's a random
I got challenger in gold and yesterday an AI shot a mid range over me and got it green with me jumping in front... And other thing, how is possible that I have 94 3pt and I'm shooting open and missing my shot? that really stupid. One thing is shooting contested, and other is open. If my shot is wide open, it supposed to be a good shot. Sometimes it says open, but my jumpshot change like if if were contested...
I like how they fixed all of those things but not the white make % on normal or low risk when using rhythm shooting… yesterday i had a dude in rec shoot a “green, fast” and made it but with high risk if it’s anything but a double green its not going in… I get it it’s high risk but 2k shouldn’t be rewarding shots that aren’t timed correctly on whatever type of risk you play on… if more whites go in bc of this open shot buff then high risk isn’t worth it
THIS PATCH BROKE DRIBBLING!! Any moves that have 2 stick to motion to complete are not registering anymore each motion is singular. Example to do combo moves animation is (➡️+⬅️) quickly, Now you will just sig size up. Explosive btb as well is messed up!!!
Interceptions should be "nerfed to the ground" . It doesn't happen nearly as often as they allow it. These people need to learn how to move their feet and play actual textbook defense...

I don’t know if you saw, but on the official site, the new season rewards is a +1 CAP BREAKER for LEVEL 40. This is huge, and will open up a lot of build flexibility if this is the standard going forward!
I grinded a character out on current gen, after the patch I saw most of my badge progression was reset. It took over 2500 points grinding the Rivals quests to get Bronze Fearless Finisher cored but now it's back to zero. Not doing that shit again. DELETED.

Pc got no love with bug fixes, you still have the settings bug and have to change your setting and animations after EVERY match....pretty annoying, still can't even walk into starting 5, it's been this way since day one.
Bro, play a regular play now game on Hall of Fame and see if the shot contest is fixed… They only fix this game from the My player standpoint. Some people don’t even play that they’ll rather play with real NBA teams. And try learning everyone timing for each team you play with.

It's not just the slight buff to open shots, they're also "fixing a delay with c&s". I agree with slight buff after slight buff. If they added a significant buff, then the game would go out of balance.

I like it man. I was playing 2's, and I was actually able to hit my rolling teammate, because the defender was trailing and had his back to the ball. I saw him hitting square, but it was useless. Before, this would've been an automatic interception
Steals were completely out of hand. I had a game where our teams stole the ball on each pass after a steal 8 times in a row! No dribbles just straight badminton shit. Shooting I think has been easy all year even with the button, but I been in the lab and have badges.
Just played with a squad 2 games. 2 guys i know in rec. The rest thier friends. In 2 games normally since i could shoot I would get 10 or so shots a game. i got 8 shots combined. Everyone is selfish as hell cause they can shoot now. This game is 2k24.5 now. Also paint defense is worse steals definitely nerfed. Shout out to all the complainers who got the game patched. If you can't meter dunk, you have to move your stick faster with the upated latency. Tap up then immediately, then hold down. If you do it at the same speed as before it won't pop
Open shots getting a buff means those shots that are slightly contested but not lightly contested. So not wide open shots but those shots that come up as open since that technically is a type of contested shot.
They need to just have movement, free to movement. Where you can control your player how ever you want, no animations should interfere with you. Animations should only work based off the user. Animations should have a timing window, but to me, I think it should be removed. That's the problem with the game now, it's to much animations (900 new animations) going on, to where it's ruining, crashing and overpowering the gameplay. I don't know what made them think that was a smart idea smh.

The post dropstep patch completely slowed it down it doesn’t feel fluent no more it’s feels like you’re forcing your player to do it…. And you can’t even do it consistently no more because of it

I run bronze interceptor and the lanes do feel normal. Fast break steals are still a no brainer. Now, what's up with this interior? I know they don't care about it but dang, do I gotta punch the dude to get an obvious block? Are my hand up or am I waving hello? The buff to open shots is great for good shooters. It sucks for good interior defenders.

Steals and shooting is always bad at the beginning of the 2k cycle. Then season 2 they get patched. Why is that? It’s because it’s a copy and pasted game and there’s a schedule they’re following

It seems to be minor but overall feel steals tuned down but based on badge the better the ability but not crazy I like it. Shooting could have stayed the same I don’t want everyone knocking down every shot that’s unrealistic. I like shot contest you seem to be rewarded for it more over someone who just times a highly contested shot all the time. It’s less of a circus show but need more games to determine if it gives major advantages to people

Interior defense needs a buff badly. People making contested close shots but can't make wide open layups? Just the other day my team was running pro-am threes and our 2nd man with a 90 dunk was force into a layup and missed on a open fast break but the next possession the other team PG made a Heavily Tight coverage and made the layup.

Pc got no love with bug fixes, you still have the settings bug and have to change your setting and animations after EVERY match....pretty annoying, still can't even walk into starting 5, it's been this way since day one.
Bro, play a regular play now game on Hall of Fame and see if the shot contest is fixed… They only fix this game from the My player standpoint. Some people don’t even play that they’ll rather play with real NBA teams. And try learning everyone timing for each team you play with.

Since they got rid of the rhythm shooting delay I’ve been shooting more constant with it since there’s no delay.
Imma get home n see if they really changed anything....i shoot 53%+ on rhythm but the delay be killin me😂😂and as a pg the real skill gap is getting a open shot n greening with the stick orrr setting your teammates up for buckets
They also made it easier to get 3 hot zones / lethal zones vs lethal shooter

The new patch completely messed up my contact dunks,I get none once so ever and the dunk meter doesn’t even show up at any time.2k needs to fix it now
They still haven’t fix a exploit where players pump fake a lot just to move the defender and another exploit where players spam steals on a center as soon as he get the rebound

Steals were completely out of hand. I had a game where our teams stole the ball on each pass after a steal 8 times in a row! No dribbles just straight badminton shit. Shooting I think has been easy all year even with the button, but I been in the lab and have badges.
Just played with a squad 2 games. 2 guys i know in rec. The rest thier friends. In 2 games normally since i could shoot I would get 10 or so shots a game. i got 8 shots combined. Everyone is selfish as hell cause they can shoot now. This game is 2k24.5 now. Also paint defense is worse steals definitely nerfed. Shout out to all the complainers who got the game patched. If you can't meter dunk, you have to move your stick faster with the upated latency. Tap up then immediately, then hold down. If you do it at the same speed as before it won't pop

Open shots getting a buff means those shots that are slightly contested but not lightly contested. So not wide open shots but those shots that come up as open since that technically is a type of contested shot.
Been like what last 3-4 years they buff shooting and nerf steals then game gets worse? Dont have much hope but hopefully this year is different
They need to just have movement, free to movement. Where you can control your player how ever you want, no animations should interfere with you. Animations should only work based off the user. Animations should have a timing window, but to me, I think it should be removed. That's the problem with the game now, it's to much animations (900 new animations) going on, to where it's ruining, crashing and overpowering the gameplay. I don't know what made them think that was a smart idea smh.

I quit playing because I made a 99 steal, 98 perim 83 3 ball lock, and I couldn’t shoot, and on ball steals were nonexistent. And now with the nerf to lanes, steal rating is pointless. I wasted my money

@@trevorhubbard6416 it depends on how you play, like if you take contested layups normal or high risk but you will have to time it better. I use low as I try not to take layups and if I get forced into one, I can possibly time it
I run bronze interceptor and the lanes do feel normal. Fast break steals are still a no brainer. Now, what's up with this interior? I know they don't care about it but dang, do I gotta punch the dude to get an obvious block? Are my hand up or am I waving hello? The buff to open shots is great for good shooters. It sucks for good interior defenders.

Steals and shooting is always bad at the beginning of the 2k cycle. Then season 2 they get patched. Why is that? It’s because it’s a copy and pasted game and there’s a schedule they’re following

It seems to be minor but overall feel steals tuned down but based on badge the better the ability but not crazy I like it. Shooting could have stayed the same I don’t want everyone knocking down every shot that’s unrealistic. I like shot contest you seem to be rewarded for it more over someone who just times a highly contested shot all the time. It’s less of a circus show but need more games to determine if it gives major advantages to people

2k still does not reward players for streaking in rec or pro am it should be .5 boost
Passing lanes were a bit suspect but I’ve seen worse in previous 2Ks. Interior defense needed to change slightly, but knowing 2K…they will fudge it up. Shooting will now be more “consistent”…we shall see. Good news and updates from the GOAT, AllCity!!

Interior defense needs a buff badly. People making contested close shots but can't make wide open layups? Just the other day my team was running pro-am threes and our 2nd man with a 90 dunk was force into a layup and missed on a open fast break but the next possession the other team PG made a Heavily Tight coverage and made the layup.
