    That "easy" option should be easy to sort out. Replace 2-3 lengths of wood on the inside of the curve. Run them straight across and it will widen the platform and decrease the turn. Sure you'll be able to use the pieces removed somewhere else. So not all bad.

      Awesome idea! We will get that done for the next episode!

      @@TomCardy You might want to re-orient the planks so you're only ever riding across the planks, never along them. Otherwise if your tire falls into the gap between the planks, it can interfere with your steering.

    Hey Tom Cardy and Kara Beal! Luv the north shore! Lower stuff is better for beginners to build confidence on. Ride ride ride!

    Go with some big rollers after that platform, a medium wide, to a tall skinny. Then use that momentum off the last to lead into a little wall ride.

    The trails are shaping up nice Tom. I love the direction you are going with these creative sections. I think there needs to be a big banked wood corner that you can rail a turn on and some wood whoops and rollers that can be pumped for speed. Great job Kara on the construction and filming. You are doing a wonderful job and I enjoy seeing you grow as a mountain biker as well. Crack on Tom & Kara! - M

    Yours is WAY better than mine but my basic Backyard structures work well. We have a long box jump with a nice kicker apapproach, a 12'x8" plank ride and a set of 3' tall session steps for training the puppies and the Wifer 😂
    Life is good when one has well-built features to enjoy 👍🏼

    Tom, unless you have put bitumen / rubber jackets on all of the posts where they enter the ground / concrete, they will be rotting out in time, due to constant water ingress, you know that right?

    • @TomCardy
      @TomCardy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the posts are pressure treated so let’s see how long they last, the bigger roll ins are in metposts to stop this but they get prices buying loads haha! Cheers dude!🤟

    Wooden rollers what go up and down it’s your choice how small you want it to be and it also can be medium so Kara can ride it ❤❤❤😮

    Nice build Tom. Maybe you can first make a layout on the ground and let Kare test ride it. Then you can tweak it a bit..Then transfer it to the real build.

    Another roll-in that has a tunnel under it could be part of the easier line that you haven't built yet.

    I'd like to see a croc filled water feature that you'd jump over😂 seriously though build a trials line in there.

    I love the channel and hate to be negative, but I think you've lost your way with this build. Maybe you have over thought it but I think you build something much exciting to ride and to watch being ridden than this. Like I say love the channel.
