If I bought a Honda NSX and half the speakers didn't work, I'd still be satisfied! In fact, I'd probably remove the radio for weight reduction and just use my phone to play my racing soundtrack! But hey, a good radio certainly makes the music sound better!
I'm kind of surprised the rubber surrounds on the original speakers haven't dry-rotted, but I haven't really heard of people having problems like that so they must have made them out of some good material. Fortunately my NSX came with the full original sound system, though the right door is not working so I need to send that amp out for repair. Actually, I need to check whether it's recommended to send everything - all amps, the climate control unit, the SRS unit, and the instrument cluster - out , even if they are working, as a preventative measure. As far as I know, leaking caps can destroy any of those beyond repair.
I feel you. Leaking capacitors is an issue for 90s car in general. My 1994 Toyota Supra had a bad cap in the ECU, was hard to find that out because of the symptoms. I think some factors that accelerate the problems is weather and temperature.
@@DriversTherapy Yeah, I think you are right, and I worry about that because I think my car has spent more time outside in the sun than yours. My defroster trim is cracked around the sun load sensor, whereas I've noticed yours isn't, and the ivory plastic around my power seat controls is yellowed while yours look like the right color. I checked these things on your car in hopes you might have the same problems and make videos showing how to fix them lol.
@@DriversTherapy I dont hÃĄve nsx. But I had another car with full bosÃĐ systÃĐm and its shit. The speakers are subpar quality. Even the china low end is better. And if you put another speaker on the bosÃĐ amp it Will sounds Like a 60 years old car.
@@DriversTherapy yes it is . Because bosÃĐ used the same speakers across all cars in the 90'. You can takÃĐ bosÃĐ speaker from chevrolet and from your nsx and they Will be exactly the same. Iwould takÃĐ the whole bosÃĐ systÃĐm out, including the amp and subs. And fit there new equipment with proper install includind soun deadening and it Will sound dramaticaly beter than bosÃĐ.
@@patrikmckane4903so you know that Bose put the same speakers in everything in the 90âs yet they are great in an NSX and garbage in your eco car? How weird is that! ððĪ

I heard that either change nothing or everything.
The OEM Bose system is surprisingly awesome! If your radio isnât working well, the speakers can still be good and sound great.
if the car came with fancy smancy audio and not the standard junk, ripping it out is sad. I have a bose system and I only added an aftermarket sub.,
True.
Hey guys. Thereâs a lot of things going on with a radio and âstuffâ. Thanks it was interesting. Take careð ïļ
