Hi Peter. A hafnium pen would be more expensive than titanium and zirconium because hafnium is a somewhat rare and useless metal that isn't really mined or purified. It's too much hassle that isn't worth it, so having enough hafnium to make a pen would be quite costly. Anyway, I hope someone has made one and somebody else can lend you one

I love Pen Pals on JUMP! Very positive, fun and supportive of everyone's art. I am also a long time fan, and on the days when there are no new videos I love going back and watching previous Peter Draws Videos. I would encourage everyone to go back and watch, especially the wacky ones like making grill cheese sandwiches. Thank you Peter!

I’m a new subscriber of yours, Peter. I’m an “inside” comic strip artist, and by that I mean I’m too self conscious to post any of my work😂😂 I found your ‘self calming guide’ video about three weeks ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. Your videos are very easy to binge watch lol. Also, you’re very talented and I’ve taken some inspiration to your awesome line art, and I just gotta say this world needs more people like you, Peter! I hope this world treats you well and you live happy! Keep up the great work!

That moded pen is wicked! So cool. And to know it's made of such an interesting material as zirconium is awesome.
Also, I really know the feeling of dread when you think you might have wet the bed. It's such an embarrassing and funny anecdote of mine: Last year I (a grown ass guy, I'm 25) stayed to sleep in my friend's house, and got to sleep in his bed while he was on the couch. The thing is, I woke up in the middle of the night because I PISSED MYSELF IN HIS BED. There were so many emotions in my head there, I was embarrassed, weirded out, anxious... I didn't know how could that have happened, and I just wanted the earth to swallow me up. Then the interaction of me waking him up to tell him the news was super funny actually, I obviously was ashamed af but he took it really well, and we joked about it and everything. Now it's a funny story to tell my grandchildren someday

Both pens look attractive ,but a pen is a pen it makes marks ..they need to advertise amongst the artists to sell them..These are the sort of things you buy your well off fella or girlfriend for Christmas or their birthday...I was considered posh through school as I had a gold tipped Parker Fountain Pen lol..But they look nice and it does feel nice to hold a good pen with a bit of weight in..That white tiger balm, rub a bit between your eyebrows too ,that is so nice ,you soon forget the headache..I have been using it since I was a kid..It was only in the red then.Mum always had some in a bag..It even helps with migraines ,makes them easier too.?.Your two doodles today looked like amazing treehouses..love watching you draw 😀

I've had a great experience with both my own Tactile Turn pens and husband's fountain pen. SO much of this is a matter of taste we happen to like the metal on metal and probably are too obsessive to be happy with the felt tip stains on fingers etc. - while recognizing the kind of satisfaction one might be had......AND one of the most important points for me: I think its good to have a range of pens because as someone who does a lot of handwriting (I do my first drafts, lists etc and of course journals) it can get downright painful if I have only one or two pens with me. Enjoyed the video nice channel

In addition to all the awesome information you've given. Titanium is lighter than Zirconium, yes. It can be anodized (as you know) but so can Zirconium if it wasn't blackened. Titanium can't truly be black like Zirconium...but can be heated and quenched in oil to darken it significantly. Titanium can also be DLC (Diamond like coating) treated which can make it black. The main reason I personally like Zirconium is it has all of the nice properties of titanium (non reactive with pretty much anything including skin oils meaning it doesn't have a smell, strong relative to it's weight, and fairly "luxurious" on the metals spectrum)...plus the really cool black oxide it forms when hit with a torch. Bare Zirconium is a regular steel-like color. Hitting it with a torch multiple times makes it black...and the oxide layer is VERY hard. Something like a mohs 8. Meaning it's really scratch resistant...some of my Zirc pens are years old and over many instances of misuse still look brand new.

    Hey Peter
Good job on the drawing and pen review, I to must have a mug of ice water on my night stand at bedtime. I use an insulated stainless steel mug and when I wake up in the morning there's still ice in it and it doesn't drip condensation on the table. You keep drawing, I'll keep watching.

Hey first time viewer here thank you so much for your story about when you were little! I really enjoyed that and I felt for you big time! that's so funny you would have to sit there and watch your cousin drink that water and he wasn't even appreciative of getting to have a big tall glass of ice water while your mouth was probably dry as a bone...
It's funny the things we remember and stay with us forever.. I also have vivid dreams and at certain times I'll know I'm dreaming even though the dreams seem so vivid and lifelike. I'll shake myself out of it when something bad starts to happen because I know subconsciously that I'm dreaming and the only way to escape the dream is the wake up..
Don't worry man, your queen size mattress has room for all the water bottles you want! Cheers!
By the way it's quite common to have a bottle of water by your bed at night, I almost don't know anyone who doesn't...

the glass ampul is covered in a phosphorescent material for the tritium gas (which shoots rays) to react with.
essentially they're closed system reactors that only produce a minimal amount of light, but black lights definitely make them POP out. I have a knife by Glow Rhino that's got tritum inlays on either side.

Hey Peter, the cooling effect of tiger balm (white) is mainly due to it containing mint, I think. My mom always rubs peppermint essential oil on her temples and forehead and the cooling effect is incredible. Be careful around your eyes, though (with both the balm and the oils, I don't think it's really damaging, but boy is it unpleasant to feel a constant cold breeze blowing your eyeballs).

    Tiger Balm is awesome!
I've also suffered from headaches for my whole life and excedrin works for me, but I also rub some peppermint oil on my forehead, temples, back of my neck, and under my nose. The menthol kind of works immediately while the meds take a while to kick in.
One thing that's always been a joke was HEAD ON! Which worked exactly the same way as Tiger Balm and peppermint oil, with the menthol. I'm sad they don't make it anymore.

Ok, forgive me, but here's my 2 cents. My mom used to get severe migraine's that kept her in bed for 24hrs sometimes. She got tested for allergies and for the most part, avoids things she is allergic too and no more headaches. Also, I didn't take medicine when I was pregnant and the only way to cure a headache was with this scented....furry/tube sock shaped/thingy that was full of dried beans or something. I kept it in a bag in the freezer, so for headaches I placed it across my eyes and the bridge or my nose and the combination of the weight, the smell, the coolness(furry dried beans don't freeze) and the darkness it caused, a one hour nap and I was good as new. Ill try to find an example online and send it to your instagram? Twitter? Somewhere...❤

    Hey peter
I know you don’t like drawing with a ball point pen but I was wondering if you would try a drawing with the bic grip roller fine i really want to see the outcome of the line work and the finale piece. Thankyou
