Wondering if there is a way to organize the Children Templates or list in order. You put numbers in there but when looking at the kanban board it's out of order. So wondering if there is a better way to organize it so it's in order?
I should clarify, I know Rules can be set to show in order, but we want to see the entire board for that project but reorganize in priority as multiple may be able to be completed at the same time etc.
Hi Conner, Amazing video, I have been using your resources for awhile now. I am curious, when you are in the triage phase and choosing the ticket type. How are you filtering to just show project related ticket types? Cheers mate
Hi Connor, thanks for your vids. Question - how do you help engineers to see the 'big picture' when they are working from the Project Tasks screen? AS we have been using Projects, this view is always a mess and you can't easily see which Project the tasks belong to!
Hi Tim, We recommend using 'Lists' We have a 'List called Tasks' these are group by Customer and only shows tasks that the Agent has assigned. We then have ' All Tasks' which is the same but then shows all tasks. Grouping + Lists will be your friends during this!
we use CW and would've loved to move to halo but this project model is nasty... why not phases and tickets and subtasks ??? everything here is a ticket its confusing
Connor, your videos have been absolutely amazing! Can I ask how you do the hyper-link to your external Hudu articles within the To-Do list items? Or alternatively how do you add the article tab at the top of the ticket you showed at the beginning of the video? I imagine you are using s for the articles, but I cannot find how to add the tab.
Thanks! We appreciate the kind feedback. We did a video recently covering exactly how to set this up - HaloPSA | Custom Tabs + Custom Buttons th-cam.com/video/2hiv9d-wpKc/w-d-xo.html The link probably won’t work, but search for custom buttons + tabs - HaloPSA
Hi Connor, thank you for a great video. Could you perhaps explain how the Group Number works in HaloPSA? You have for example 3 rules in one child ticket that says group number 1, and another child rule that says -1? Do you group tasks within a child ticket rule with the same numbers or how does that work?
Only 1 rule from a group will need to match for the child to be created as long as all other groups and ungrouped rules are met. -1 or empty means no group. This means in English, if you set the same group ID only rule needs to match and all the children will be created :)
Hey Connor, Love the content!
How to a change what comes up in the new button at 11:13

When you add the numbers, you then need to ensure your filter on the kanban/ticket board is filtered and ordered by the summary :)
