    As far as I've read, and researched on line, Northeast is basically the only guys that are putting out these Airsoft replicas in full steel metal, which I think is just fantastic for all us Airgun Replica ethusiasts. Great stuff Northeast. I've checked out all of thier other guns, and its made from all steel metal parts as well. This is just Awesome in my book!!! Keep up the good work Northeast!!!!

      NE have also been great at looking after their customers and correcting issues by shipping improved components to MP2 owners. That’s a hell of a lot more than other brands do!

    Mate brought one to a skirmish, first game. Mag shell raised in housing causing bolt to stop going home or click no bang. Then the bbs wouldn’t feed at all. Sounds good but the bolt is just anaemic like it’s not helped by the whopping disparity between the weapons weight and the bolt weight. Stood no chance of making any real felt recoil. Hate to be a downer but I’m very glad I didn’t dunk £500 on it myself.

    • @jeff_chan
      @jeff_chan ปีที่แล้ว

      What your mate experienced is what EVERY reviewer will experience after a week with the gun. I also got one from the first batch and have the exact same problems listed out by every commenter and reviewer. The bolt doesn't sit hard enough on the sear and the gun no longer engages the hammer. The magazine housing falls apart and presses up on the nozzle causing jams. The nozzle is too long and does not have enough time to cycle a BB every time and leads to jams or double feeds. The external looks and weight is 100/100, but all this is good for is a piece to hang on a wall.

  • @shovelchop81bikeralex52
    @shovelchop81bikeralex52 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Got mine a week or so ago. Had problems with the mag, not just the follower getting snagged toward the top (catching on the joint between the upper and lower parts of the mag, this can be solved with a file) but also feeding too many bb's at a time causing constant jams. I fixed that by first heating the lips in boiling water, compressing them slightly when soft and putting them straight under cold water to shock the molecules into staying there. I came to the conclusion the mag's spring was too strong causing this to happen but good news as there's an easy fix! If you look at the mag side on, you will see two pins towards the bottom of the mag, the the upper pin holds the spacer for the spring in place; just use a drift to knock that pin out and the spring will internally expand all the way to the bottom taking the stress off the mag lips and allowing you to add another 10 bb's or more as a bonus, add a few drops of gun oil to the spring as all the parts are metal including the follower. Chugs along nicely now with the odd stoppage but I'd say that it's just wearing in as I've totally stripped, cleaned and greased/oiled the gun, you might want to put less grease on the bolt than I did as that might have caused the stoppages which now seem to have disappeared. Lucky you bought spare mags as she cools down really fast even in this heat! Still waiting for my second mag. Oh I also took out the long stem pipe in the mag (it just twists off, no glue on mine at least) to allow more gas in the mag, you'll need to periodically check for trapped air (rather than gas) in the mag and expel that carefully until you reach the gas then top it up again until all the air is gone. LOL, I had to use a plastic tipped hammer to get the top cover of mine off, really tight fit!

    • @jeff_chan
      @jeff_chan ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not just the lips, but it’s also the nozzle being too long and not having enough time to cycle a BB properly. There’s a fix floating around on TH-cam where people have used a glue gun to create a piece to shorten the travel of the the nozzle by half so that BBs always load properly in full auto.

      With a bolt that is this lightweight it shouldn’t need black gas. Minor tuning perhaps.
      I refuse to buy airsoft gas, haha

    This gun has a design problem. It’s just a matter of time before the gun stops cocking properly and the sear no longer engages. The magazine also falls apart. Good luck!

      Hey,
      All is well thanks. Yourself?
      I haven’t tried KWC mags, I’m not a fan of co2 though. Propane is perfect for me 👍
