I loved the movie and cried through half of it...I heard many say the movie would've been better as a documentary, I disagree. The fictional accounts of these real life events seen on the screen touched my heart more then it would've just hearing about it.

Agreed! Having actors portray real people was way more effective than simply showing pics. It taps into hearts more.

This is one of the best reviews that actually addressed the subject matter of the film.

Thank you! I appreciate that wholeheartedly! I think it's important to be honest and open when reviewing movies. So much content is for rage baiting nowadays.

Make a movie to teach blacks to overcome their circumstances instead of whining, begging, and blaming others for their own downfall.

Huh? I’m assuming you haven’t seen the movie Origin or even watched my review that you’re commenting on. They are about our struggles as a society and how it affects us all. Watching these could improve your understanding of the facts. Hope that helps!

@@GremlinLord615 Why are blacks and gays never confronted about their role in their own downfalls instead we confront normal people about why they are repulsed by repulsive people? Why do we never call upon losers to overcome their issues? Why do we blame winners for all of the world's ills? A loser is no better morally than a winner, it's just that a loser has no power to affect anything so they take a fake moral high ground. What is the point of her movie? That winners dominate losers? Like lions dominate hyenas? That is the natural course of things. What is her problem? That the universe is a sad place? That God is cruel? Why can't we all just get along? Why not make a movie about black elders lying to black people and not training them in the correct way to live and sabotaging their chances at life? Why doesn't she look in the mirror and make a movie about how she failed at life instead of blaming everyone else?
