Dan Rather is a breed of real, in-depth journalists who are unfortunately going extinct in our culture that nobody under the age of 30 would even recognize as true journalism because of the crap they've been exposed to all their lives. He's has my respect, and others would be wise to study what real journalism was once, because their world is declining for the lack of it. He's so right that "truth no longer matters" and I'll add to his point that today, the truth has become whatever gets the most exposure, which is a LONG way from truth. We're already in an idiocracy with a reality TV president, and yet so many people who never saw real journalism in their entire lives will never realize it.
Dan Rather is a show off and not a real reporter just like Bill O'Reilly, Geraldo, Glenn Beck and Brian Williams. They are ENTERTAINERS, not journalists
Dan Rather was a big fake who tried to discredit then President Bush with fake documents, got caught easily, and got booted from CBS for it. Even Walter Cronkite said Dan Rather got his just desserts.
Fabulous to hear Dan speak to the truth about Reporters and the reporting system. Truth, integrity, guts and honesty. We cannot go wrong with that kind of reporting.

THAT'S A LAUGH ! I was taught to tell readers Who, What, When, Where, And sometimes the How and Why of a news item. No slanting, no opinions, no fabrications. Just the Facts. HE HAS LOST MORE AND MORE RESPECTABILITY WITH ME AS THE YEARS PASSED BECAUSE OF HIS OWN ACTIONS.
