I LOVE how the headlights can be adjusted down when towing. That's a huge pet peeve of mine when someone is towing and blinding everyone. I've also wanted a Cummins diesel truck for awhile but won't buy any junk that Chrysler puts out. I may have to test drive one of these

Very striking move from Nissan, I can see this going against the F 150 Platinum or Sierra High Country, maybe even the F 250

Great video! I just bought one of these and i'm super impressed so far (about 10k in already) Nissan has done a good job with this truck design... and while i woudl have loved a sunroof in my 2016 XD its otherwise a wonderful funtional truck, that can tow a tonne and is great for both work and pleasure.
I've been a F-150 guy in the past, and while this truck doesn't have some of the high end tech that the F150 has - when you compare MSRP's of similarily equipped trucks (a platinum titan vs a F150 Lariat ) there is a lot of truck here as long as you don't mind that its a traditional engine and fuel milage is middle of the road. I wanted something different than the average truck, and definitely found it with my Titan.
This will be my dream pickup to buy Mike.

Mike, Great walk around review, I tested out a Pro x4 the other day, very quiet cab, gobs of torque . Nice interior. 58K was sticker on the Prox4. nice truck.

Good quality video. Nissan should have put out a video this good 11 months ago. I love this truck, and hope Nissan sells a half-million of them in 2016, but .... There are now about 100+ crappy videos on the "2016 Titan XD", and only 3 worth watching. This truck would have been amazing in 2013. It just seems so 2014 to me, with a 2018 pricetag. I need more versatility in the back seats like easily being able to remove them from the vehicle or slide them a foot forward for storage behind them as my kid is still small. I want a vehicle with tons of aftermarket options. This one has nearly zero aftermarket options. There is no NetFlix in the back seats. I want a rear window that can fully open. I do not like the headlights and bet in 2 years that owners swap it for something that they consider an upgrade. I doubt there are any buyers that likes the looks of this truck better than the 2016 competitors. The Ram Exodiesel has an 8-speed transmission with 2 years of proven service. I see nothing on TH-cam about the Aisen 6 speed. I presume it is the same one uses in thousands of 2015 model vehicles. I wish the vehicle had a switch to control fuel economy from frugal to power.
The gooseneck is so close to the rear wall that only a few trailers would not jack-knife. I can see contractors throwing the bed away and putting a flat-bed or tow-truck, or cube shaped work room, or utility bed or custom camper, etc. I would write more, but my wife is yelling at me to get a job.

I gotta say this interior easily beats that of others for much less the money. Ford usually gets over 60k same thing with GM it can easily go up to 70 with their Denali one. Ram is ram

Yes it may have been an XD, which is lifted stock, but the majority of these videos on youtube have some shitty maroon color.

i had a 2005 nissan titan n i was towing a trailer with 14000 pound it pulled it like there was nothing behind it. so u should be good to you're 23' foot Pontoon Boat it the weights of less then 3500 pounds

A 2 wheel drive diesel truck for 57k? Damn not to much less than a Platinum F-150, the vehicle this seems to be trying to copy. Albeit the Titan is diesel, it lacks the top of the line quality and features offered by Ford, Ram, and GMC.
+Daniel Craig sarcasm?? Because it wins in the copying all three's ideas but definitely not in the functionality or execution of said features. I'm not saying it's a bad looking truck, but pricing it at the same price point of top of the line F-150s or 1500's and it doesn't even compare
There is a 4wd option, Ford has 2wd and 4wd on their trucks too you know.
IDK what you're smoking, but just visually it's easy to see that the material quality is better in this vehicle, and based on track record, the assembly quality is probably better too. as far as features, this matches the ford and RAM, and surpassed GM twins.

Sure, but if you are considering an SUV instead of a pickup...then you don't need a pickup.

I wonder how reliable this cummins is going to be? will Nissan have the same issues as GM, Ford and dodge diesels? I guess time will tell. Manufactures should be ashamed of themselves sticking the client with the bill to repair their problematic engines.
Nissan should make different trim levels for the guys that need a work truck. I think this engine has just the right amount of power for most people, like the landscaper who needs to push snow, carry some tools, pull a trailer.There are alot of people that don't need a truck with 800 ftlbs + of torque, just enough to get the job done and with good fuel economy, and reliability. Yes Dodge does have the ecoboost diesel but it might be underpowered for some and it is only a half ton truck. i dont think you can istall a snow plow on that. It does have its place but the Nissan would be right in the middle, not too much and not too little. As someone who is in the renovation and snow buisness i say bravo Nissan but you need to build that truck as a work truck. Do that and ford, dodge and gm will lose alot of sales. One of my buddies just traded his two year old Dodge ram for the Titan diesel.
Nissan is supposed to introduce a work truck model in 2017, as I understand, with different cab options.

The 2016 has a few kinks with the transmission. 2017 has it resolved and the engine is better than ever. And they have an S model, which is work truck, than SV, which is one step above, than SL, which is semi-luxury, than the PRO-4X, which is luxury, but has more of an off-road atmosphere to it, than, the Platinum reserve.

Why is the outside of this vehicle spotless, and the inside flooring questionable? And, it is not that you can "satisfy some of the people sometime" dodge, it is just a matter of professionalism. In your video, it was quite lacking, cheaper camera notwithstanding.
