- In this video, Tom take a moment to teach our fellow RC enthusiasts on how to utilize the extra 7th Channel on the NX6 transmitter. This 7th Channel is a additional non proportional channel that is great for using with SAFE enabled aircraft and custom flight modes and features. Follow along to learn how.

Nice. It's been kind of unclear for quads if the NX6 is a 7 channel radio to compete with something like the QX7, but this video explained it perfectly...and nice Tiny Trainer!
I cant bind with safe and as3x switch AR637TA my NX6 for my eflite P51d Mustang? No forward programming either.
can channel 7 on the Carbon Cub s2 which has the LAS plugged in be turned ON/OFF by the NX6 to turn the LAS on/off from the transmitter?
Careful buying a "used" NX6 on Amazon. I just received mine today and I'm unable to register it on the Spektrum site as the previous owner already registered it. Can't unregister it via the setup settings, either. Comes back with an error code.

@@SpektrumRCvideos I tried that yesterday. I spoke to tech support @ Calandra Racing? Anyhow, he said he could help and said he was going to send me an email and wanted me to attach the proof of purchase and a pic of the serial number. He never emailed me. Any... I'm returning this to Amazon.
I am considering a Turbo Timer Evolution and I have not been able to confirm if my NX6 channel 7 will be able to be set up to activate the reverse thrust. I don’t see why not but can someone confirm before I make the purchase?
can I do this with the nx8? for flight mode with a AR8360T DSMX 8-Channel AS3X & SAFE Telemetry Receiver
Will the NX 8 be able to operate 8 servos with no splitters and a engine kill switch?
Why can't I program my Aux-1 on my Spectrum NX8 Transmitter. It's on channel 6 an on the side it says N/A , what does that mean.
Likely you have a wing type selected that has assigned that channel to another function, such as flaps or left aileron.
So when I link the NX6 up too Real Flight, there is a throttle delay in the 3 middle notches, however the interlink controller doesn't do this, is there a setting I have wrong?
This new Aux2 has appeared on my DX6 Gen 3 after updating it..
I can assign it to a switch but it is immobile on the monitor function where you can see the movement of all channels. Is this normal?

That is a bug with the latest DX6 firmware, it is inoperable and will be fixed in the next update.
Is it possible to setup the beeping function for fixed wing aircraft with a smart rx & esc?

Can you store/save telemetry data such as altitude/vario on the NX6

@@SpektrumRCvideos thanks for your quick reply. I have managed to do that. A file name : 001~1 Sail.TLM was created. Activated by throt stick. One time is Active, Enabled is Yes, Input Data is Yes. Problem.... i cant see the file. must be doing something wrong. Can you please give me any further help??
@@liellthomas2894 It should save the file to the internal memory or an SD card if one is inserted. To access the internal memory you will need to go into USB settings menu, turn on mass storage mode, and plug into a PC. Hope that helps!
When will the 7th channel to be used for SAFE be provided for the DX6 G2/3? I bought my new G3 DX6 4.5 mos ago, just before the NX6 was introduced and I'm looking to buy a HH warbird now. This will be provided as a firmware update, correct?
no, the dx6 will never have a 7th channel, if you want a 7th channel you have to buy the nx6.
