In today's video we are going to look at the most incredible personal portfolios and personal websites, I will give you my opinion about them and react to them from the perspective of a Web Developer and Software Engineer.
Web development can be extremely complex sometimes, and the websites that we look into today use many concepts of not only HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but also design, animation, special effects and 3D modelling!

The second website's amazing and a wonderful idea, but in terms of implementation, it's not at all difficult. It's certainly got nothing to do with front-end web development: I'm a game developer, and I could create something like that easily, but ask me to write a good-looking, responsive web app and I'd probably shit myself.

yes, agreeable but the second website lacks a lot of UX principles. For example, if someone needed your social media links, then they would probably have a hard time finding it, even tho it was the coolest website I have ever seen, it still didn't deserve a 10/10 for a web developer's portfolio

Artistically, these sites are absolutely amazing and stunning. But as a portfolio, they’re very unreliable. Takes too long to access information, or the information is displayed in a complex way that is either hard to read effectively or is very distracting. Honestly if you want an effective portfolio site, you may be better off with a barebones html page lol
