Lee Hong Ki (the blond) is with FT Island. He's one of my first favorite singers, way back when I started watching K-dramas. He was in You're Beautiful, the first Korean drama I ever watched. He's not only a fantastic singer, but he's a great actor too! I dunno who the other man was, but his voice is beautiful!
Hongki is by far my favorite husky yet powerful vocalist in Korea. Remembering the time where he, with his band FTISLAND, used to fight the restriction where a band can’t perform live on TV. I don’t know about the other singer, but if you wanna know about Hongki’s voice, try listening to Love Sick (their debut song) and you’ll get heartbroken. But if you wanna see him in his strong rockstar voice, try PRAY. And of course all of them are better in live performances!

There’s a popular K-drama called ‘You’re beautiful’ that I had watched a few years ago, but Netflix added it recently so I decided to rewatch it. The drama is about a boy band called A.N.Jell, and Hong Gi is their drummer. The music from the drama is so good, so I also started streaming it, and that’s how the algorithm led me to this song. It became my favorite song. It’s just so good! Hong Gi’s voice is so powerful, soulful, you can really feel the pain in it, like you’re being teared apart, he’s so amazing! And Hwe Seung’s part is so iconic! They sound so good together, they blend each other so well, they really made this song perfect. Then their label released N.Flying where Hweseung is from! Even though this is a ballad…I would love to see you react to their usual music! Just in case you’re confused why some people write Honggi/ Hong gi or Hongki it’s because the character ㄱ is kind of in between a ‘g’ and a ‘k’ so can be written either way. Korean doesn’t have a soft ‘g’ the way you pronounced it, they would use a ‘j’ ㅈ in that instance. Thanks for the reaction, love watching people discovering this song and these two amazing singers. Omo Omo Omo Omo….first, let me apologize profusely for not sending this to you myself. Second.. there’s some AMAZING live performances of this song that just … indescribable…. Now, I came across this song after watching Lee Hong Ki in a few KDrama, namely A Korean Odyssey which is basically a story about THE MONKEY KING and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. Korean voices are really very beautiful and great singers with wonderful voices. But I would like to recommend three Chinese singers who are wonderful to me, Jam Hsiao, Hua Chenyu and Zhou Shen. Very different from each other but each one impressive in what he does. When you start browsing You Tube you end up discovering great artists like them. I assure you that you will not regret listening to them.

I think I've listened to it at least a 100 times since I discovered it (only a few months ago) and now I am looking into lots of other Korean songs, even if I don't understand the language, I feel the emotion. Now, I came across this song after watching Lee Hong Ki in a few KDrama, namely A Korean Odyssey which is basically a story about THE MONKEY KING and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. This is how I discovered F.T.Island which he’s the lead singer in. NOW… Yoo Hwe Seung popped in my feed with this song belting out that F5 note that simply gives you goosebumps and THAT is how I discovered this SONG. OMO.. I clicked so fast when I saw what you were reacting to I nearly got whiplash! THIS SONG! Seriously though… I was just belting it out along with the video and my most horrible imitation of Korean. 😂. JUST SO HAPPY someone sent this to you!!! Seriously… it’s one of the few songs I listed to on repeat when I discovered it. Sigh… I’m so happy right now!!!

Korean voices are really very beautiful and great singers with wonderful voices. But I would like to recommend three Chinese singers who are wonderful to me, Jam Hsiao, Hua Chenyu and Zhou Shen. Very different from each other but each one impressive in what he does. When you start browsing You Tube you end up discovering great artists like them. I assure you that you will not regret listening to them.
