Good review, i m stuck choosing between GTR with and stratos. This review help me alotss.... anyway just realized you are staying in Bangsar area, there is such a good convenient area.
Just my 2 cent opinion: if you want something pretty just for smart watch functions and ridiculously good battery life, get the GTR. If you are a runner/sports enthusiast (like me), get the Stratos. The GTR will just frustrate the hell out of you. I have both watches, but in process of sending the GTR back for refund after months of trying to make it work consistently. Sticking with my reliable and accurate Stratos. Good luck with whatever you choose.
Hey man! Thanks for watching my video! GTR is a really good looking watch! I will try my best to make review about Kospet! Which watch do you have or planning to buy?
it's unfair to say that stratos can support 5atm and not to say the same about the GTR. I always use the GTR when I'm at the pool swimming and it's simply great, just as good or better than the stratos undewater. I just change the bracelet because I don't wan't to ruin the original leather look alike (but it's really easy to change it, a small child could do it). Down point, no relevant internal storage. man, all in all nice review, though. keep your track.
@@uyle3294 I'm very thin, with a left wrist circle of 17cm. It looks great, anyway. and to say I'm not biased, a lot of friends of mine like the watch and how it does fits me althought my narrow wrist. women usually use smaller watches when compared to wrist size (a cultural thing, maybe) so, in principle, I always suggest the GTR 47mm to men, leaving the 42mm to some (some, I hate chauvinism) women who likes the most of the GTR 42mm. Really, the 42mm fits better in a woman following the standard patterns of beauty society imposes and bla-bla-bla, and it also seems more elegant in more narrow wrists (such of some women). Nonetheless, for women who prefer intensive use of the GTR potencial, I would say go with the 47mm because the battery last considerable more, much more than the 42mm counterpart. hope I helped.

The subjected item is “Amazfit Stratos” which the issue had encountered approximately after 6 months of normal use. The issue was what I least expected since the product was especially known as a highly durable product. The back glass of the watch (under the Heart rate sensor) had dismounted from the watch without any impact. This has happened while I was wearing the watch & without my knowledge. Sametime the light rays (or light source) that are used to monitor HR, had wounded my wrist leaving a doubt that, "are these products safe to wear". The product seller & #Amazfit support team refused to claim the warranty saying that it is a physical damage, which is not. ultimately it leaves me a broken watch without heart rate sensing & with a broken airtight seal (which the specification says it can withstand 5 ATM underwater). Even the #Amazfit support team will not take responsibility for their faulty products. I presume that you should buy Amazfit products at your own risk.
Had no problems at all with all my Amazfit watches. Although in one facebook group I have seen that case and picture, but how would you explain the back glass dismounting by itself? If it was defected unit - it should have happened in first days, not after 6 months. Any comments and ideas why it happened? Any contact with sea water before, any physical drops?
Yes, kind of... Although I found GTR to be pretty nice option if you're looking for classic modern style rounded watch with notifications and fitness tracker options. The other options similar to this is actually Huawei Watch GT2 / GT2e, though design is a bit different, but specs/functions wise is similar.

after month with it: all you can do with this watch is looking on the time nothing more. if you want to use it for sport it doesnt have anything usefull on it. you cant listen to music from the watch coz it do not have bluetooth or option to download songs to it so you need to get your phone to listen to music or get an ipode or something . you cant use this watch without your phone and it dont have connection to network so again you need your phone . so the question why you need watch if you need to take your phone everywhere . really people you cant do anything with this watch it is not a smart watch this a normal watch with delay screan hhhh
80% of people use their smart wearables only to check time, notifications, reminders. Thats why :)) Of course, you could simply get Xiaomi Mi Band, but if you want classic rounded watch design - thats where the GTR / GTR2 comes for.

Otherwise, if you want something more "sporty" and better GPS accuracy, more sturdy feel - you can pick Amazfit Stratos 2/3.
@@NiuxTech thanks a lot for the suggestions but I am looking for either pace or Verge due to their gps.
Can we access the Amazmod app on both Verge and Pace so that I can use the map or gps navigation to find my route without taking my phone?
Or only pace has that feature of map navigation?
Well pace is better but is old,and its better
For runner which one is better?
Stratos 2 or even better new model Stratos 3 :)
GPS still problem on GTR?
@@Azim.Ibrahim some people say that GPS improved with firmware update, but anyways, there are some other better watch options with more accurate GPS :))
Please be careful with Startos's heart sensor cap at the back as that comes off quickly and water can sneak in. Mine got screwed like it.

How is the call quality in Gtr?
You can not use GTR as a phone. It doesn't have mic, nor speaker.
Hey, Can you please confirm if Amazfit GTS or GTR is compatible with OnePlus 7 Pro. It will be great help. Thanks
Yes, it's compatible with OnePlus 7 Pro. Both GTS and GTR.
Amazfit GTR was it updated the face watch and download more than one?
You can have up to 3 watchfaces stored in GTR. But let's be honest, how often you will be changing a watchface?
@@NiuxTech 3 faces only! bad disadvantage and easy to fix it, and I need to change and trying many watch faces until I am boring.

Yes, it does.

Is it too dim for a general usage outdoors ? Anyway the outdoor experience can be improved in ur opinion ?.

Hi, thanks for watching! AOD for outdoors is pretty dim. Too dim in my opinion. But in most cases you will still twist your wrist and it will activate more brightness.

I am confused between amazfit gtr, amazfit pace and amazfit gts
I like amazfit pace design and attractive colour which i dont like in gtr which has brown belt
I like round dial
Tell me which smartwatch should i buy under 12000
Hi. You can change belt to any other color or material. There are many different belts available pretty cheap in AliExpress. Just type in search "22mm strap" and you will see different available options.
If you need watch for basic needs, like time, notifications, heart rate data - you can go with GTR. If you want more "smart" watch - then Pace would be a good choice considering it's low price right now.

hey, what’s your opinion on Amazfit Nexo? the battery life’s lasting is the same as Amazfit GTR
Where did you get that information? Amazfit Nexo battery can only last 1-2 days...

@@coiIeray check battery duration info below in official amazfit page. It says 18 hours only.

Does any of them have interval timer option in one of the workout option. Like workout time and rest time for HIIT?
Both Pace and Stratos support training options. you can install 3rd party interval training apps as well.
@@SunAtPensacola Thnx, I bought Stratos3. Can't seem to find any option for 3rd party app install. I did find a setup on the amazfit app for interval timer. Problem is that it is not real per say. Yes, one can setup time to workout and time for break. Also number of repetition for each setup. But it does not alternate one with another. When started with workout, than it repeats only workout timer one after another. I need to set each interval manually one workout, next break, next workout, next break and so on... For all off the duration of training. The app on the android "interval training" and "interval timer" does all of that in a few sec of setup. But it can not merge it with heart rate...

In GTR you can adjust the time from 1 minutes to 30 minutes but in GT realtime every second Green light never turned off if heart rate monitoring is turned on .. and it's very smart if i take it off from my hand heart monitor will stop automatically and when i wear it .. It's start again automatically... This feature is not available in Amazfit.. If you set a specific time then in every 1 minutes it will try to measure heart rate.. No matter you wear it or not . Just my 2 cent opinion: if you want something pretty just for smart watch functions and ridiculously good battery life, get the GTR. If you are a runner/sports enthusiast (like me), get the Stratos. The GTR will just frustrate the hell out of you. I have both watches, but in process of sending the GTR back for refund after months of trying to make it work consistently. it's unfair to say that stratos can support 5atm and not to say the same about the GTR.
Thanks for support! I have mentioned in my video, that GTR has 5ATM waterproof :)
What is the measure of your wrist? I want to buy the 47mm version but maybe it's too big for mine.

The product seller & #Amazfit support team refused to claim the warranty saying that it is a physical damage, which is not. ultimately it leaves me a broken watch without heart
rate sensing & with a broken airtight seal (which the specification says it can withstand 5 ATM underwater).

Basically a GTR is an overpowered fitness tracker not a smart watch
Yes, kind of... Although I found GTR to be pretty nice option if you're looking for classic modern style rounded watch with notifications and fitness tracker options.
The other options similar to this is actually Huawei Watch GT2 / GT2e, though design is a bit different, but specs/functions wise is similar.
