Been watching your videos for about a month now really enjoying them you deserve 100k+ subs keep on grinding just wanted to send you some love from North Carolina. I really enjoy your videos they are practical and very chilled out. You’re not going for the crazy $50 hotdog or just showing us the most expensive/most likely to go viral food. Your giving us a realistic look at if you come to New York here’s the best options on a regular budget to have an amazing time. I’ve been to New York twice and really enjoyed all of the good street food I was able to find. I’m coming back in May and I want to find at least 1 of the spots you’ve gone to and try it. I love me a chili dog with onions but when I go to your spot I gotta get the ole sauerkraut mustard and onion🔥🔥
I enjoy your videos. Thanks for your efforts taking us throughout NYC. I see Sabrett on almost every cart. I am curious have you done a side by side comparison of the other popular brands? Nathans, etc.....Thanks
Everyone likes to compare food that you get in public versus what you get at the grocery store. People will pay that amount of money, which is why it cost that much. You expect to pay more in New York City than you do in any other city in America excluding Vegas. It’s market price
Great video, Chris! I thought you were going to pounce an Shifty, he really wanted that camera! That Bratwurst looked amazing, I haven't had one since Frankfurt in '92.🤩
I’ve been going here for at least 20yrs during winter. It’s mostly nostalgia and the kids enjoy it. Like you said it’s mainly to get advertising for the shops unless you sell gnocchi alla vodka I guess
Very Good Chris. I Thought Sure That Guy Was Going To Run Off With Your Camera, You Should Have A Sticker On Your Camera That Says SMILE YOUR ON CANDID CAMERA.
I've gone in twice already mostly to take pics for tourists by the tree. I love the brat stand and the Portuguese egg tart place! You can't go wrong with a crepe. I won't do the strawberry and chocolate thing. I'm not fond of that combo and the price doesn't justify the small cup of strawberries. There's the famous one at borough market in London. Larger cup and cheaper. Years ago I talked to someone who rented a stall and I want to say the rent was $10k/month. Some of the food places are really popular with crazy lines like the raclette sandwich. When people talk about where to go, I keep sending people to the Portuguese egg tarts. OMG no chewing allowed got a decent amount of money from me this year. My nieces really like it. Still trying to find good hot chocolate. Lol I was tempted to get pickles but that was crazy busy too.
I appreciate this breakdown. As someone who is looking to do this market the actual market is only until Jan 4th not March. So they are running for only 3 months I believe the rink and all that stays till March which is part of the winter village. Unsure if the food vendors stay longer, but I do not believe so. But I agree a lot of it is brand awareness/advertising.
Gnocchi ala vodka costs $10 at their brick & mortar shop on 9th St between 1st/2nd Ave Manhattan. It's been trending on social media, hence the long line.
Hmm.... 6:50 Might be Luigi unmasked before the shooting. I'm calling the 9-11 tip line ! Anyways..I think your 4 months estimate is actually 2 months. Meaning NO ONE is making any $$ except the landlord collecting the 40k. Anyways...I enjoy your videos ! :)

Drogheria Fine,on Fairmont street in Montreal sells 6$ gnocchi box with grated cheese. Americains, sadly to say are being ripped-off when it come to food prices.
Saw another video. It cost about 25K for a booth + 10% of your revenue. Pretty crazy. It all depends on the size of the booth. The revenue requirement is crazy.
@@NYCHotDogStands Not sure if it 25K + the 10% revenue or either/or option. Wish I could find that video again. I don't believe people are coming back for it. You can set up a booth at any holiday themed place and people will pay what ever to get food. Could be horrible could be amazing people will pay at a place like that
You should return on a regular basis to see if the gnocchi shop is still getting the busnbusiness. If anyone else is picking up. Sad to say therws always winners and losers and the best places dont always win
The numbers were geared more towards how much they have to sell JUST to pay the lease off. Then you have to add all the other expenses on to that. But Yes, some stands are killing it.
In this video he is talking and walking in BRYANT PARK, on 42nd Street looking at these different booths, and because it's cloudy, with the threat of storms coming in, most people are opting out,and just going home, but when it comes to street festivals, food related, it's actually very expensive, for example they want 3 bucks for a hotdog, and some crazy number for a burger, so I in all probability won't go, because they are all just TOURIST TRAPS,and as a NEW YORKER, to see is to believe it,and I am not going to fall for a GIMIC,or a absolute Joke, not worth the time, energy, or the commute time, not withstanding the money spent on things that I can make myself at home, besides the sun starts going down at 3:30,and at 4 PM, it's already dark, the days are very short in the winter months, which is a given fact.
