[ 11:46 ] - I'm from Copenhagen and I have a fear of heights. That tower is no joke for people with that "handicap". Those railings are not that tall and it's a looong way down. Getting queasy seeing you at the top 😁

Most Europeans: Americans don't travel outside the US and they don't know anything. This guy puts most Europeans to shame, travels everywhere, brings his family, does research. Thank you man. You and your family made me miss Copenhagen.

Denmark is surely a travel through European history, because it is the oldest still existing Kingdom of Europe, with the oldest national flag in the World, that according to legend, is said to have fallen from the sky as a sign from God during the Battle of Lyndanisse (Lindanise or Tallinn) in Estonia, 15. June, 1219. If you ever go visit Tallinn in Estonia (derive from "Taani linn" wich is Estonian for "Danish Town") , you can visit the memorial in the Danish King's Garden in the Tallinn Old Town, regarded to be the actual place where the flag fell from the sky.

What a wonderful piece of history! The bit about the Danish flag is definitely cool, whether real or mythological. Thank you for sharing! We're always looking to learn more about the places we visit. Estonia has long been a place we've been curious about, you've definitely added another reason to get there!

@@abroadwiththeburrells .. The Danish flag is also the banner of the Knights Hospitaller (the Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem). At times, it did create some confusion way back in time, when people saw the Danish flag, if was either the Danes or the Knight's war ships.

@@agffans5725 I remember reading about the Knights Hospitaller! If memory serves, they preceded and ran concurrently with the Knights Templar, yes? They served as a medical unit/hospital in Jerusalem during the Middle Ages/Crusades? It's been awhile. I never knew they shared the same flag design as the Danes. Awesome to know :)

@@abroadwiththeburrells ... Yes, they participated in lots of battles inspite being a medical/hospital order of Knights, though I highly doubt it was the Knights themselves who were acting like doctors and nurses. It was probably just their special task, to defend and keep the hospital up and running.

Haha! That sounds like a wonderful idea!
We're not sure, everything is working fine our our end. The video is playing in 4k. Maybe it's a TH-cam thing? Perhaps your ISP is experiencing a temporary lag? Please let us know if it persists. Also, if we receive similar reports from other viewers we'll be sure to reach out to TH-cam.
Thanks so much for your kind words!

@@abroadwiththeburrells It have to be a youtube problem. I just tested, and it was back on 1080p. Issue ressolved.
      Have a wonderful day! :)

@@spenceflatulence It looks to me like you might have been watching very shortly after upload and that can be the cause.
      From TH-cam help:
      "Low video quality after upload
When you upload a video, it will initially be processed in low quality. This process helps you complete the upload process faster. When the upload flow is complete, your video will be available to stream in low quality, on a wide variety of devices.
Higher qualities, such as 4K or 1080p, can take more time to process. While this processing happens, your video may seem to be missing higher qualities for several hours. Once high-resolution processing is finished, higher qualities will be available on your video."

Theres a story about the outside winding stairs of the Church of our Savior.
It is said, that the builder very late in the process of erecting the spire, realised the winding (counterclockwise) was actually the wrong way, and it should have been clockwise, and in despair threw himself from the top of the spire.
It is a myth. It is not true. In fact the builder, Laurids de Thurah, was indeed very proud of his accomplishment with the church.

And going down is the worst! Especially if you meet someone going up, as you have to let go of the railing and have a feeling that if you slip, you may fall out!
