prison transport, CSI, Drug unit, EOD, SWAT. lots of places use them for transporting shit that requires a lot of equipment because of how cheap those trucks are.
while some sheriffs departments also manage EMS or Fire in some small towns, in this one it just looks like some miscellaneous utility vehicle.

Was driving home on a freeway at midnight during heavy rain. Almost ran into the back of a work van going 70. Dude was driving with no fucking lights on, only reason I saw him was because I was paying attention to the road a lot more than normal because it was hard to see the faded out lane paint

Saw one of said idiots last night, unfortunately there was no karma cop. I live not too far from Memphis and morons driving at night without their lights on (even on back roads) are pretty much a common occurrence and I have yet to see a cop pull them over for it. Came close to hitting one or two while trying to switch lanes and didn’t notice them until they honked at me due to again.. no fucking lights. Sorry about the rant, it’s just so fucking dangerous.

Many times, where I live, law enforcement will drive 5 to 10 miles under the speed limit. Cars will stay behind them out of some weird fear. I’ll do the speed limit and pass them. It’s not against the law.
It’s only against the law if you pass them going over the speed limit.
If you stay in front of a cop long enough, they can find any of a number of reasons to pull you over if they want. Not that your point is unreasonable, but there are so many more reasons than speeding they can pull you over.

These are all examples of what I've "Preached" to my 2 Sons ever since they started driving a couple of Decades ago "The 20 seconds you think you were gonna save gets ate up by the 20 minutes you spend beside the road when you get pulled over getting a Ticket, not to mention your 8 hours in the "Defensive Driving" Class you'll take".
What my parents told me if you ever get a ticket you will have to pay for it and immediately look for a job. Got my license at 18 and gave it up at 21 I just car pool now it's cheaper and I'm glad I went that route

@leumas3322 Depends. If I'm almost there and I'd have to slam on my brakes, possibly losing control, then I'm speeding up to beat the yellow. If I'm far enough back, obviously I brake and slow down.

I want to thank you for uploading this. EVERYONE needs to see instant justice once in awhile. And also thank you for showing with arrows etc., WHICH car to look out for. Speed happens so quickly sometimes we have to rewind to catch it all. The arrows help a lot.

I can sympathize with the second clip driver. Our downtown is a labyrinth of one ways and it's so easy to end up going the wrong way if you don't know where you're going especially at night. That's why i avoid downtown like the plague if i can help it or go with my sister in law who works down there, lol
Yep, I’ve done the same, even as a GA resident. I immediately knew it was ATL on the second clip, which was confirmed by the ATL police 😂 hopefully the cop didn’t give him an unnecessary ticket, shit happens

Tbh i think every med to large city has some kinf of maze of one way streets. It's an unwritten by - law that it's a necesssity. That even locals can't figure ou unless they work or live in that area and have to drive it on a regular basis. lst time i went downtown, i got to my destination just fine, it took me over n hour to get myself out.. i finally called my SIL at work to get directions. it doesn't help that my internal compass takes me south instead of north:)

I LOVE these videos here that you post. I don't know how many times I have been driving and you see someone doing stupid stuff like everything in this video, and you think, I wish there was a cop right here...and this captures it all. Lovely.
I've said it once ill say it again not all red light runners do it intentionally to bean asshole or entitlement. I ran one once on a hwy because of extreme exhaustion. I even stopped initially and for whatever reason treated it like a stop sign. Thankfully i made it across safe and everyone else was safe (luckily there was a huge break in traffic). Halfway through i realized what i was doing and panicked and immediately pulled off the side when i crossed over i was sick for hours over the what ifs and what could have happened.
Yeah, I once ran a red light accidentally too! I got SO lucky. It was just in town, so it would have only been a fender bender, but the tick for a fine and the hassle of it all would have sucked,but anyway, for whatever reason I just didn't notice it and here comes this car on my right, about to run right into the side of me! I look over, and the young girl is looking RIGHT at me like a deer in the headlights and NO defensive driving skills whatsoever! She was about to hit me in slow motion going 20mph hahahaha The LAST second, she turns to the right, making a right hand turn and just keeps going. The ONLY reason I lucked out, wasn't because she could have easily slowed down and waited for my dumb ass to get out of the way, but because I slowed down, allowing her to JUST clear my nose, and finish her turn hahahahaha
Had she intended to go straight through that light, she wouldn't have stopped. She reacted 0% to my mistake and I know for a fact she would have just kept going and run into my side, had she not planned on making a turn. I got so lucky.
I felt so sick and stupid too. I was just focused on where I was trying to go, I totally didn't even see the light. This was with well over a decade, probably two decades of driving. It can just happen. It's been the only time, knock on wood.
Being extremely exhausted and intoxication are equally dangerous.
When I was a new driver I did it a few times because I wasn't experienced judging speed and stopping distance. The light would turn yellow, I'd try to stop, realize I couldn't stop before entering the intersection but I had slowed down enought hat the light turned red before I got there. Now when I approach a stale green light, I keep that "stop/keep going" decision in mind as I approach so there is no hesitation whichever way it goes.
If you’re exhausted though I’d call a friend to pick you up or an uber.
Once you’re already in the intersection, go if it’s clear. If people with the green light see you, they may stop for you but be sure they see you first.

That first one, I got caught for doing that once like 20 years ago, plus the car right in front of me who did it too. That car was full of sideways-hat-wearing teens who mouthed off to the officer, I could hear them after he pulled us both over and was talking with them second. That was after I was respectful & apologetic, admitting to what I did. He walked back over to me to give me a warning, saying "I'm gonna be busy writing a bunch of tickets up there anyway" 😆

I did the same thing in ATL on that street. The signs directing you to the freeway are confusing and makes you think that you're supposed to turn there.

My favorite time I got instant cop karma I unfortunately didn't have a dashcam... was driving my truck westbound on Yellowhead leaving Edmonton. I was in the left lane. This kid in a challenger forces his way in from the ramp merging from Anthony Henday and cuts across the right lane and cuts me off... kid didn't realize that behind me a MARKED EPS car. Saw the lights pop on right as soon as I hit my horn... right lane knew what was happening and left a gap for me, so I pulled into the right lane and laughed so hard as the cop ran past me.
All the times I have said "where's a cop when you need one"... I will always remember that time lol.
The one dude got pulled over by the sheriff ambulance lol. Probably a crash unit or something. Still 😂

That first clip - exactly what happened to me yesterday. I’m slowing down, about to make a left turn, left turn signal on, and some jackass decides I’m not going fast enough for his liking and so he passes on my left on a double yellow. I damn near PIT’ed him when I made my left turn.

The people who drive like the guy getting pulled over @11:00 - once you hit the highway you immediately come over the (in this case, 4) lanes to be in the left, despite plenty of open space. Such nonsense. Didn't even wait in-between lanes, just kept coming over, nearly hitting cammer.
Imagine trying to run an ambulance off the road and then blocking it right after. Brother in Christ...
That wasn't an ambulance. That was a paddy wagon (Sheriffs) to carry criminals to and from Jail to court.
Wanna talk about running a red in front of a cop? I was driving an E150 panel van with a cop behind me ready to make a left at around 2am pulling out of a Lowes/Walmart parking lot (back when Walmart was open overnight). It was a work job. I did not see the cop behind me. After about 20 minutes of stuck at a red and the other lights cycling green yellow red and back again, II ran the red. The cop pulled along side me and pulled me over. I ended up with a warning. I asked what to do if the light never turned green after a long time (I meant like an hour or so). The cop said I'd never wait around because I would have been smart and eventually done a right on red. If I knew the cop was behind me, I should have gotten out of my car and asked him what to do to avoid sitting at the light that wasn't changing in my direction. It was 2am and I was tired and not thinking, kinda like some of those drivers in these clips. I can't fault some of these drivers who were probably tired or something else was going on.
@@JH-wd6dp I wouldn't have had any proof as to how long I actually sat at the light, so I would have had to pay the fine or do traffic school. I probably would have paid the fine for running a red. Based upon how other 4 way traffic lights acted the same or similar at certain times of the morning and night, I'd assume that it was on purpose the way that light acted. Assuming that the light acted the way it did on purpose, and the cop knew it, that was probably one reason why I didn't get a ticket (and I did it safely).
I would generally just be safe and take a right turn if possible on red and come around. If it’s a split intersection and you’re waiting at the secondary light then you really have not much option but to just run it, or make a U-turn.
In the middle of the day years ago. My brother was riding his Harley and was all alone in the left turn lane at a traffic light. He sat there for quite a bit with no green arrow due to not enough weight and a cop signaled for him to go ahead and run the red as he would have been waiting there forever. lol

that's just so insane their whole fleet is like that. I guess it makes mass prisoner transport easily available to every cop.
Easy way to check if it's a one way and no signs are present, look at the direction of the parked cars. If all facing towards you on either side of road, don't turn down it.

Watching these remind me of what happened a couple of weeks ago.
I was going out for a bit to run some errands. My last stop was Walmart, and I was driving down the street.
A quick note, while I was out, I saw quite a few police cars. And little did I know, I was driving beside one.
I was behind this car when they turned on their blinker. As it continued, the driver then began to slow down a little too quick. Thankfully, I was far enough to give the driver the space. But then, it slowed down more and more, until the driver literally stopped on the busy road, before finally turning into the parking lot of a small store.
Then, out of the corner of my eye, the police car from my right side stopped too, and when I was driving out of the cop’s way, they turned their lights on, and followed that driver.
Not gonna lie, I thought the driver would quickly drive in. But when it suddenly stopped, I almost hit them from behind.
And for some reason, I thought I was gonna be in trouble too, for almost rear ending the car.
When I arrived at the parking lot at Walmart, I actually waited for a few minutes in the far back of the parking lot. But the cop didn’t come for me.
Now that I think about it, I always thought about how lucky I was, as well as the driver.
If another car came, and hit me from behind, I probably would’ve been sandwiched in. And the driver in front of me would’ve had whiplash. Thankfully nobody was behind me.

#1 why couldn’t that happen Thursday morning on my way to work I got honked at cause I didn’t let the person driving in the turn lane in. Please note there was no one behind me and I was going 40 in a 35.
Regarding passing on the right - here in Ontario where I live, passing on the right is legal, but can be unsafe especially when passing a semi. You have to use good judgement. Also, if you have to speed to pass someone who is driving a bit slower than you, that is illegal. You must slow down.

@@alaeriia01I was on the Mass Pike going east in Newton. Traffic was dying down and I passed a statie going 75 in a 55, he didn’t even turn his headlights on
@@alaeriia0180 is okay in a 65, 85 is where things become riskier, but even then, cops are likely to not care. I was going 85 when a cop appeared out of nowhere, and they just ended up taking the same exit as me and went off on their way.
Imagine trying to save a few minutes, only to get pulled over and spend 30+ more minutes to get a ticket.

I found this very satisfying. I see people do ignorant stuff like this all the time, and police are never around.
It's funny how many people do not realize that fire fighters and EMS have the authority to arrest people who get in their way.
