I`m Spanish and a Barça fan and I absolutely agree. I had never seen Spain being so superior in a major match, before or after. That squad was unbeateble. Few years later, our rivals learnt how to stop that and use our flaws but, at that point in history, we were unbeatable. I would like to highlight Silva's unmatching role in this team due to all the talent, magic and unpredictable passes he meant. Del Bosque preferred Alonso, who provided more stability, but we lost fairy dust. What a fantasticl pleasure it is to have seen my country play so beautifully.

The final vs Italy 2012 was a final, and the semi vs Germany 2010 was a World Cup, but to me this has been the most beautiful game I've seen them play. I think this game completely changed the way rivals faced them in the following years, basically closed and tough aiming for a 0-0, which led to a more horizontal and boring tiki-taka.
I remember reading some comments from the defeated German players after their loss to Spain in the final. The remarks were on the lines of “we couldn’t even get near them”.
