my biggest ick: as a detailed dti persona this happens 50% of the time,i spend the whole 5 minutes making a detailed,stunning,theme matching, outfit. and this persona just wears the simplest and basic outfit and wins, its not fair.

They said on the discord server that they are most probably going to add a feature that you cant wear revealing clothing with the hijab in a future update and it makes me so happy
3:36 one time I was playing dti and someone did a custom theme “tori”. And i didn’t know who Tori was so I asked and I asked but the guy who did the theme said “I know you know” which i didn’t and of course they had to give me what the theme meant and he said “past life” so I just was on the runway and I saw two unnecessary comments one:”It’s not giving..” and “It’s ugly” like girl i didn’t know the theme and you told me at the last second and you think you have that audacity to call me ugly and not matching the theme. DTI servers are such a hit or miss. Sometimes I get lucky and end up in a nice server, but most of the time I end up leaving because everyone is trolling or farming lol

(If you are in middle school or Highschool, You would understand, Jewelry can cause more injuries, like Suffocation, or can cut you or someone else. Or it's just very irritating, Also, why would you wear heels to do a sport 😭?) 2. When a character is overused. (Characters like Strawberry shortcake, Tinkerbell, Elsa, Tiana, Joker, Harley Quinn, Mulan, Ariel, Cinderella, and more. Trust me I love these characters just as much as you do, but it feels less creative.) 3. When Users who are trend setters Farmed, But say they worked "I'm a trend setter so my outfits are better." (This is an annoying argument, Considering they never really worked for it, and when players try to give advice, They downgrade them, OVER A GAME.) 4. Players who roleplay on stage. (Ngl, it just feels weird seeing "Mommy, Can I get that teddy bear" or something like that. It feels awkward.) 5. Players who get so mad and then assume someone's age. (You would be surprised to know DTI mainly has Elder teens (17-19) preteens (10-12), and adults mainly playing it. (Obviously with other ages, not just these.) So overall don't chat with anyone, and also DONT SAY YOUR AGE ONLINE UNLESS YOU ARE OLDER THAN 18, SINCE YOU WOULD BE AN ADULT AND CAN MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS.) 6. People who make it their whole personality to hate something. (It's perfectly normal to dislike something, but even if it was styled well, You still vote Terrible only because you hate the item.) 7. People who genuinely think VIP people HAVE to give them VIP (TBH this is so dumb to Even discuss. Even if they have the Robux for it, It's THEIR MONEY, let them be, and don't start acting like a brat because They say no, Accept the rejection. Plus most people don't wanna buy something for someone they have little to no chance of ever interacting with again.) 8. People who get mad at 2 players who looked too similar and instead of fighting they duo'd. (A few times I have played, me and someone else, Look similar, since we used the same Inspo, and instead of fighting, we just duo, and only a few times people get mad saying how one of us probably copied the other when we look similar but not the same.) 9. Players who get mad at report bots. (You would be surprised to know, Their might be someone in your game who can report players, these guys exist in every game, If you have bad behavior, it will report you. Tbh, Idk if they are owned by Roblox or not, but They aren't hackers, they are just a random player who stands still and reports rude and offensive behavior.) 10. Random kids who dress inappropriately. (I am so shocked to know most players who dress inappropriate, are under 12. Not saying adults or Anyone older than 12 don't. But it's mainly them. Which is very concerning.) Some of these are mine, but these are just some underrated ones I found.

I’m all for we should have 18+ servers or sm. One, a lot of people complain about playing with kids who don’t know certain themes and such. This would make those players very happy Two, VERY much agree on the over sexualized fits people wear. I was once in a server with my bestie and there was a round where the theme was dream job and one person wore a scarcely dressed fit and said “c*sting couch.” Thankfully no one in the server was having it and they got last. Plus the So Julia pose, that the DTI team is working to remove FOR THIS REASON. I remember on Twitter seeing someone using the pose while being Shane Dawson and his cat. It’s gross. If you’re holding private servers, with friends or fans who are all around your age, do whatever you want. Not in public servers where children can be present.
I get the reason, but most of the devs who made dti are minors in general, so it would be both kind of weird for them to add a gamemode they themselves cant test out or play.

Personally I'm fine with how DTI is being run so far, if anything it should be Roblox who should step up and make sure the kids in this platform are safe. Or better yet ACTUALLY make a good and working report and censorship system. Its important to remember that the reason problems like these are happening are because of the site, and not the games in it.
I'm on their side other than the pose, the theme is dream job and it'ds be much weirder for them to just go up and be like "Someone online said I can't do my dream job so I cannot do this theme" when that eliminates the whole point of Dress To Impress. They should've said adult actor instead of being specific, but otherwise it's just weird to not allow someone to follow the theme of a game that's revolved around themes as you'd also be complaining if they did something unrelated to the theme.
one of my icks on dti is when people beg for VIP. Like one time I was just in VIP making my outfit and then somebody found a hack and then they went inside of the VIP from the hack and then they start begging for VIP and it generally annoyed THE HECK out of me.

When I started playing DTI, ( I only started playing DTI in the Halloween update ) There was actually a theme helper so I’m at least happy there’s a theme helper because more than 50% of the time, I don’t understand the theme at all. Also, I have to use the helper and sometimes I don’t understand the theme even with the theme helper!
My biggest ick is when people downvote new players solely because they’re new. It’s even worse when an aspiring model absolutely ATE the theme and got 8 stars, while the three on the podium didn’t follow the theme.

this has happened to me a couple times - i’m white but for some themes a darker skin tone works a lot better (for example i did a teddy bear theme recently and tried to match the teddy bear item) so i use it and i think i’ve only placed once with a non white skin tone

To be honest, my biggest ick on DTI is when everyone goes for the same outfit ideas on a theme. I understand that maybe it is easy to be Alice for Wonderland, but there are so many other characters! Be the caterpillar or if duos be Twiddledee and Tweedledum. You got so many options but I don't want to see like 5 Alices in a row.

7:42 This is wrong, when you join does not always affect when you appear on stage. I once just joined at 20 seconds left and it immediately put me in the round without a choice, and it immediately put me on the stage second even though 9 other people were in that server before me.

My *updated* biggest ick: (also goes with the inappropriate fits) is this new stupid shirt hack. You layer the asymmetrical type top, the brat top with like the holes on it and the men’s oversized top. It makes a dick, and people have been using it every round. It’s just gross tbh considering there’s children in the game.
If you join a round and there's 2 minutes or less left, at the point just leave the game if it drops you right into the round (unless ur a fast AND good dresser). and, when you join late enough, the game GIVES U A CHOICE ON IF U WANNA JOIN THE ROUND OR NOT. the 'i joined late' ppl have no excuse.

Random, but 12:25 (this isn’t related to anyone in the video but) One of my bullies is a Muslim. Sometimes when I play DTI with my friend and any “mean girl”/related theme pops up, she’ll do the ‘water Muslim’ outfit, which she calls as her ‘haram’ outfit. I told her it’s not ok to do such outfits in public, as everyone else won’t get the reference even if she was just helping me cope with something. She hasn’t done that outfit in a while, and I’m glad she hasn’t. I’m not saying everyone doing the ‘water Muslim’ outfit has the same/similar reasoning, I’m just sharing my experience.

Sirens are mermaids. I told them sirens aren’t just mermaids. For example, a siren as in the alarm isn’t a mermaid. However, the theme isn’t a siren it’s a fashion style. NOT THE MERMAID. And they said ‘idrc I think this is the theme, liar’ I said ‘search it on google when u leave’

And i didn’t know who Tori was so I asked and I asked but the guy who did the theme said “I know you know” which i didn’t and of course they had to give me what the theme meant and he said “past life” so I just was on the runway and I saw two unnecessary comments one:”It’s not giving..” and “It’s ugly” like girl i didn’t know the theme and you told me at the last second and you think you have that audacity to call me ugly and not matching the theme. DTI servers are such a hit or miss. Sometimes I get lucky and end up in a nice server, but most of the time I end up leaving because everyone is trolling or farming lol

Okay, Out of boredom, I'm going to add underated DTI Icks.
1. When players wear jewelry or heels when the theme is Athletic. (If you are in middle school or Highschool, You would understand, Jewelry can cause more injuries, like Suffocation, or can cut you or someone else. Or it's just very irritating, Also, why would you wear heels to do a sport 😭?)
2. When a character is overused. (Characters like Strawberry shortcake, Tinkerbell, Elsa, Tiana, Joker, Harley Quinn, Mulan, Ariel, Cinderella, and more. Trust me I love these characters just as much as you do, but it feels less creative.)
3. When Users who are trend setters Farmed, But say they worked "I'm a trend setter so my outfits are better." (This is an annoying argument, Considering they never really worked for it, and when players try to give advice, They downgrade them, OVER A GAME.)
4. Players who roleplay on stage. (Ngl, it just feels weird seeing "Mommy, Can I get that teddy bear" or something like that. It feels awkward.)
5. Players who get so mad and then assume someone's age. (You would be surprised to know DTI mainly has Elder teens (17-19) preteens (10-12), and adults mainly playing it. (Obviously with other ages, not just these.) So overall don't chat with anyone, and also DONT SAY YOUR AGE ONLINE UNLESS YOU ARE OLDER THAN 18, SINCE YOU WOULD BE AN ADULT AND CAN MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS.)
6. People who make it their whole personality to hate something. (It's perfectly normal to dislike something, but even if it was styled well, You still vote Terrible only because you hate the item.)
7. People who genuinely think VIP people HAVE to give them VIP (TBH this is so dumb to Even discuss. Even if they have the Robux for it, It's THEIR MONEY, let them be, and don't start acting like a brat because They say no, Accept the rejection. Plus most people don't wanna buy something for someone they have little to no chance of ever interacting with again.)
8. People who get mad at 2 players who looked too similar and instead of fighting they duo'd. (A few times I have played, me and someone else, Look similar, since we used the same Inspo, and instead of fighting, we just duo, and only a few times people get mad saying how one of us probably copied the other when we look similar but not the same.)
9. Players who get mad at report bots. (You would be surprised to know, Their might be someone in your game who can report players, these guys exist in every game, If you have bad behavior, it will report you. Tbh, Idk if they are owned by Roblox or not, but They aren't hackers, they are just a random player who stands still and reports rude and offensive behavior.)
10. Random kids who dress inappropriately. (I am so shocked to know most players who dress inappropriate, are under 12. Not saying adults or Anyone older than 12 don't. But it's mainly them. Which is very concerning.)

One, a lot of people complain about playing with kids who don’t know certain themes and such. This would make those players very happy
Two, VERY much agree on the over sexualized fits people wear. I was once in a server with my bestie and there was a round where the theme was dream job and one person wore a scarcely dressed fit and said “c*sting couch.” Thankfully no one in the server was having it and they got last. Plus the So Julia pose, that the DTI team is working to remove FOR THIS REASON. I remember on Twitter seeing someone using the pose while being Shane Dawson and his cat. It’s gross. If you’re holding private servers, with friends or fans who are all around your age, do whatever you want. Not in public servers where children can be present.

Personally I'm fine with how DTI is being run so far, if anything it should be Roblox who should step up and make sure the kids in this platform are safe. Or better yet ACTUALLY make a good and working report and censorship system. Its important to remember that the reason problems like these are happening are because of the site, and not the games in it.
I'm on their side other than the pose, the theme is dream job and it'ds be much weirder for them to just go up and be like "Someone online said I can't do my dream job so I cannot do this theme" when that eliminates the whole point of Dress To Impress. They should've said adult actor instead of being specific, but otherwise it's just weird to not allow someone to follow the theme of a game that's revolved around themes as you'd also be complaining if they did something unrelated to the theme.

When I started playing DTI, ( I only started playing DTI in the Halloween update ) There was actually a theme helper so I’m at least happy there’s a theme helper because more than 50% of the time, I don’t understand the theme at all. Also, I have to use the helper and sometimes I don’t understand the theme even with the theme helper!
My biggest ick is when people downvote new players solely because they’re new. It’s even worse when an aspiring model absolutely ATE the theme and got 8 stars, while the three on the podium didn’t follow the theme.
Not only the misuses of the hijab it’s also just being straight up racist to different people *mainly black dti players* by giving them Less stars even tho they ate and say “eww.” And “___ isn’t black“ when it’s COSPLAY (yes someone said that to me) someone actually did a test and they got less stars by being black in the game. No one should be racist in a game for everyone that’s my biggest ick, being racist
this has happened to me a couple times - i’m white but for some themes a darker skin tone works a lot better (for example i did a teddy bear theme recently and tried to match the teddy bear item) so i use it and i think i’ve only placed once with a non white skin tone

Random, but 12:25 (this isn’t related to anyone in the video but) One of my bullies is a Muslim. Sometimes when I play DTI with my friend and any “mean girl”/related theme pops up, she’ll do the ‘water Muslim’ outfit, which she calls as her ‘haram’ outfit. I told her it’s not ok to do such outfits in public, as everyone else won’t get the reference even if she was just helping me cope with something. She hasn’t done that outfit in a while, and I’m glad she hasn’t.

My biggest ick is when the theme is office siren AND THE PEOPLE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND THE THEME DRESS AS MERMAIDS WITH TIES & BOOKS. I told people that’s not the theme & they said it says siren. Sirens are mermaids. I told them sirens aren’t just mermaids. For example, a siren as in the alarm isn’t a mermaid. However, the theme isn’t a siren it’s a fashion style. NOT THE MERMAID. And they said ‘idrc I think this is the theme, liar’ I said ‘search it on google when u leave’
Sirens aren't mermaids, they're birds. And I'd 100% do a siren in a tie, the mental image of a bird doing office work is adorable.

Story time: I was playing dress to impress with a few girls at my school recently, and the theme was historical figure. I kid you not, one girl took it upon herself to dress as Hītl3r and smiled with FULL F**KING PRIDE. SHE GOT FIRST MF PLACE
One of my icks is one time I was playing in a server and the theme was historical figures and someone did Jesus, someone kept fighting with them and people started to defend them and also dress up as Jesus and the people who would dressed up as Jesus voted each other and kept on winning. I'm not Christian so I can not give my opinion on this, but the point is multiple people that dresses same as another person and basically team is annoying
