The best, was questioned by my friends for giving up “free kills” with kill streaks when I finally swapped full time to specialist…. But my KD started flying high and MOABs started coming, so much better than the streaks
Has a special place in my heart this CoD as it’s the first I played religiously. Played MW/MW2/BO1 but mainly ‘at a friends house’ type thing. Love MW3, just a solid multiplayer. Still hop on from time to time now for a nostalgia fix.

The online multi-player of the early COD's or specifically MW1 thru BO2, was the best time I ever had in gaming. You could probably say I was addicted. I remember an NFL player who was drafted ( Indianapolis Colts, I believe) who never showed up to team duties. He would get so angry with himself and break the game disc. Then the next day, he'd get up and buy a new copy when the store opened. I think he said he cracked the top 20 worldwide. Oh well, COD is trash now.
To a lot of people COD died in 2013 after Ghosts release. Before that Activision dropped 6 straight absolute bangers. MW, WAW, MW2, BO1, MW3 and BO2 all back to back. Ghosts was the end of the era of the golden era of Call of Duty. Then the future came. From Advanced Warfare to BO3 and IW the years from 2014-2016 marked the start and end of a new ear of COD. Many by this point were completely fed up with Call of Duty. The futuristic gameplay did not sit well with many so in a desperate attempt to revive the COD series changes had to be made. So in 2017 Sledgehammer games dropped the pile of trash that is COD WW2. In an attempt to return to the roots of Call of Duty. However this would backfire badly. So what did Activision do in response? They went back to the future. With 2018 marking the release of the campaignless BO4 Activision made it clear they were looking to take the series in a different direction. With the inclusion of Blackout a BR (battle royale) game in which follows the standard BR formula. But with no campaign the game would flop. So with a span of 5 years marking nothing but failure COD was down in the dumps. Activision finally pulled their head out of their ass and gave us a half decent game. COD MW2019. But with a lackluster campaign and completely awful spec ops mode the multiplayer would have carry most of the weight. And it did just that and with the later inclusion of Warzone the game would soar to new heights. And with this new found success what would Activision do next. Well they would give us 2 straight years of pure garbage followed up by a mediocre and less than predecessor game in MW2022.

I've tried MW3 on PS3 today. A coincidence that you mentioned it now since it's been years since I last played it on console... I was able to find a TDM lobby easily and I found no cheaters, the problem is the connection... It's terrible...

Look I really love both cod4/MWR and MW2 but MW3 was my very first cod that got me into the franchise so for obvious reasons this will always be my favorite of the trilogy. I would die if they announced a mp remaster one day😩
Honestly the best MW game from the classic trilogy, it had it all. Great campaign, fun spec ops & Survival mode plus a Multiplayer that had better map design, specialists, balanced and less Op guns/killstreaks from MW2. Such an incredible game!

My most played COD game ever & it was so underrated. One of my favorite things about it was all you had to do was get kills to get a gun gold so EVERYONE could get em (even the folks with negative K/Ds). Drop zone was the only thing I played & the fastest match my party completed was under 2 mins. I changed my name on the PS4 so i lost my whole account on the PS3 😔
my fav cod right here. we couldn't afford xbox live back then so i didn't experience multi player but me and my cousin always went crazy in survivor mode...good times :)

My son got an XBox when this came out. I got hooked as well and this was my favorite map. Great seeing it again - strangely nostalgic and definitely the golden age of the franchise.

I never Owned MW2 (Although had played it before) and only had very limited experience playing MW online. But all my friends started playing this game, so I gave in and got it, and I’ve never played a video game as much as I did this one. I know a lot of people hold MW2 in high regard and rightfully so, but this was the game for me that I learned basically everything on. I started as a noob who probably resembled something of a bot and by the time I moved on from the game I had prestiged a good handful of times, unlocked almost everything there was to unlock, etc. Staying up all night without a care in the world. Good times, then adulthood set in 😭
When I was awaiting my new job I had 3 or 4 weeks till start date...banged out the PS3 and sat through all the old cods was pleasantly surprised to see I could get games from BO1 to MW3 such good memories ♥️❤️
Hey Fortunate, cods in ps3 is still alive to this day, me and my friends always host a domination lobby (with mics) in mw3, and sometimes I go to bo1 with my other homies, about the hackers, I'm pretty sure there are plenty but not most of the time. And also you might catch ground war lobbies in mw3 because of the German dudes in discord who hosts it. Would like to see you there
Ok I need to add to this. I know you won’t see this but is you do. Mw3 does not work on ps3 if you have a new account or changes your name since like 2019. I played it on my friends ps3 so I bought my own 1. Waited a month and it doesn’t work
MW2 has a giant discord dedicated to Ground War, Search, and other game modes. You can get Michael Myers and stuff. Also they have it for MW3, BO1, and WAW
I never played MW1, MW2 or MW3 because I didn't have money nor knowledge that it existed, but before buying my Xbox 360 I use to watch quite a lot of those. I wish I could play them - at least nowadays - but unfortunately these lobbies isn't populated (especially in my region) and it's quite expensive for an old game. Anyways, thanks for the content!
So i have been playing mw2 and mw3 on 360 lately and I’ve found it’s easier to find games on mw2 there’s usually a few snd lobbies and a domination or tdm lobby i can find. Time of day is important tho. Love the vids man keep up the awesome content!

I remember there was this one map that had a tree you could jump onto that led to an invisible slope which then brought you up to like an invisble skybox or something. It was perfect for cheesing Infected lol.
W vid bro! I can still find lobbies in regular TDM and FFA, but the only issue is the servers disconnecting during the in-game lobby and during matches. Other than that, still enjoying this game alongside with MW2

I get on mw3 every day .. and I notice that around 6-9 pm central .. people actually populate the servers .. mw2 only really on weekends u can get some good lobbies

My little ass tried to make my voice deeper which definitely didn't work but I ended up getting in anyway🤣 (bloody South mob) if I remember correctly. Master prestige on mw2, black ops, mw3, and bo2. Those 4 games will forever hold a huge place in my heart. Pretty much quit gaming after bo2 🥺😅
On ps3, its still populated. I even found 2 spec ops lobby. Bht any new accounts made after Jan 2019 will not be able to play, because a error message will say, "Communication with the Activision servers have been interupped." Real sad stuff
MW3>MW2 I play on xbox and I'm Australian. You can usually find a lobby with a decent connection around prime time (7pm). Impossible to find a game at almost any other time, unless you find an American lobby - which has brutal ping.
Easily the best multiplayer. The maps were good, guns & class building are great, and specialist made it really fast paced. My favorite CoD from CoD2 to Vanguard by far!
I seriously regret not picking MW3 up while it was on sale. Same goes for BO1 and 2. The fact that they're *_STILL_* charging full price for these games is ridiculous.
I play MW3 and BO2 regularly on my Xbox X and don’t have issues finding any TDM lobbies. BO2 is loaded with hackers but you find an occasional lobby. MW2 takes me a minute to find a lobby but it can be done!
About 3Pm yesterday (9/25/22) there were roughly 200 people on MW3 ps3. Mostly playing TD, Dom and actually a full server of infected. Sad no one plays All or Nothing or Dropzone anymore. Even MW3SOME was great
You also gotta figure that consoles have issues with modders and people doing some scummy stuff and there's no admins or scripts to ban them. Last time I was on MW2 and 3 there were like 1k and about 600 people on, respectively and that was during night hours on Xbox back comp

MW3 on PS3 was INSANE 24/7 populated lobbies. My favorite cod next to MW2.
yeah PS3 lobbies are quite active and full with pretty much no cheaters. It's what makes me like the game much more.

There is usually 100 to 200 people online in TDM on Xbox one. Lobbies are very playable still compared to bo2.

Plutonium for MW3 is amazing, so thankful
On ps3, its still populated. I even found 2 spec ops lobby. Bht any new accounts made after Jan 2019 will not be able to play, because a error message will say, "Communication with the Activision servers have been interupped." Real sad stuff

I play on xbox and I'm Australian. You can usually find a lobby with a decent connection around prime time (7pm). Impossible to find a game at almost any other time, unless you find an American lobby - which has brutal ping.
Easily the best multiplayer. The maps were good, guns & class building are great, and specialist made it really fast paced. My favorite CoD from CoD2 to Vanguard by far!
I seriously regret not picking MW3 up while it was on sale. Same goes for BO1 and 2.
The fact that they're *_STILL_* charging full price for these games is ridiculous.

I play MW3 and BO2 regularly on my Xbox X and don’t have issues finding any TDM lobbies. BO2 is loaded with hackers but you find an occasional lobby. MW2 takes me a minute to find a lobby but it can be done!

About 3Pm yesterday (9/25/22) there were roughly 200 people on MW3 ps3. Mostly playing TD, Dom and actually a full server of infected. Sad no one plays All or Nothing or Dropzone anymore. Even MW3SOME was great

You also gotta figure that consoles have issues with modders and people doing some scummy stuff and there's no admins or scripts to ban them. Last time I was on MW2 and 3 there were like 1k and about 600 people on, respectively and that was during night hours on Xbox back comp

One reason I think IW5 is kind of dead is because of how sweaty it became. It felt like more of a chore going for moabs than anything.
I still have my xb360. Don't use it very often. The last time I tried the interface was dreadfully slow. Just launching to the home screen is a chore.
Once you're good on CoD with K&M you will NEVER go back. Let's not forget CoD was a PC game first. I encourage everyone to try it!
