The fact is.. Luca won in life already by being one of the kindest person in this competion. The title "Masterchef" was just an extra prize because he definitely already won the hearts of most of us who kept up and followed his journey. A good chef is not just based on skills. A good chef should also have a good heart so that it radiates in the food he makes 🥰

He does pause a bit throughout his sentence when he's announcing the winner but its not that long. They make it longer by showing multiple 1 second reactions which when added together, the end product is like 10 seconds Long.
i work at a production show.. there is music and effect on the current set/stage complete with wireless microphone and whatnot. But it's not the same when it comes through editing room.. so the final product is even better

Yes, Luca definitely won the point when Gordon said he would have Luca's short ribs as his last meal, but I think the wacky basil panna cotta was what sealed the deal for him. That was something that theoretically shouldn't be in a dessert, but somehow he made it work
There’s a ton of reasons to love Luca and my favorite was when he genuinely told Jordan that his cupcake was delicious, even though they didn’t get along. He’s the best sportsman I’ve ever seen .

I HATE egoist. They can be great in what they do in respects but their ugly disposition destroys them as a person..and I had a hard..HARD time watching this season., The drama was ridiculous. I ended up loving the guys more over the girls because it was like being in a hen house and I prefer animals personally over people and naturally. People like Natasha and Krissi need to know when to keep their mouths clothes, MOSTLY Krissi. (I'm not sure if I spelled her name right...but she disgusts me. She is a bully and I hope her kid turns out a better person then her as to his disposition.)
My favourite one was when he was waiting for the water to boil earlier in the season, and the chef asked him what was taking so long and he was like “how i make water boil faster?”

I thought Gordon was going to give Luca a no a second time from entering the competition. I was about to get pissed. They let other people in who had worse dishes and couldn't cook, and just got in from crying.
Luca actually transformed completely in this season... From being almost rejected, having no self confidence, and constantly being in bottom 3 initially, to getting better and better with each dish and then become the freaking champion as well as winning everyone over by his spirit and nature... Speaks wonders of his character... 😍😍😍... The guy is absolutely lovable...

It's kind of amazing to think Gordon played a big part in Luca winning by not having him compete in season 3 and knowing he wasn't ready as a chef, thanks to that he had his chance to win and did it. Plus there was no competing against Christine in season 3, she was unstoppable

Natasha has a personality type which is more conscientious and determined, detail oriented, structured. Which makes her a great chef in her own right, by her impeccable way of doing things and making very different ingredients cohesive on a plate. Very smart and precise when it comes to linking things together, different plates, etc. Luca is higher in openness, creativity and extroversion. More agreeable as well. Less conscientious and concerned about minutiae, more about impact and evoking emotions through boldness and nostalgia (classic Italian ingredients). He reminds me of the chef in Ratatouille lmao, when he serves childhood dishes to the Anton Ego guy (which reminds me of the bald judge chef in here, vaguely lmao). His cuisine reflects very well his intense personality. Both those types of personality are necessary for a successful restaurant/any business model to truly shine and be successful. You need a balance of risk and creativity/boldness/emotional component, combined with structure/meticulousness/beautiful presentation/cohesion.

I always believe that good people will always finish on top. Luca always clapped and cheered on his competitors when they win elimination challenges and he gave his ingredients to the ones who needed it. Look at Natasha just in this episode; the way she smirks when Luca gets critique and rolls her eyes at him, how she didn't clap when he won and Luca was the one to give her a hug. Luca complemented her skills even after his win and she just blabbed about herself. Well deserved win!

Probably the biggest Cinderella story ever seen in the culinary world! Luca missed out on season three during the auditions, and work his way to the bone the following season, starting from the bottom with the other chefs, having his own struggles to overcome, and eventually working his way to the top of the mountain! Not to mention, he’s probably one of the most hard working, down-to-earth, kindest, innocent, and passionate chef I’ve ever seen on a TV show! Every time I watch this, I am so happy that Luca won, and I continuously wish him nothing but the best!

Which makes her a great chef in her own right, by her impeccable way of doing things and making very different ingredients cohesive on a plate. Very smart and precise when it comes to linking things together, different plates, etc.
Luca is higher in openness, creativity and extroversion. More agreeable as well. Less conscientious and concerned about minutiae, more about impact and evoking emotions through boldness and nostalgia (classic Italian ingredients). He reminds me of the chef in Ratatouille lmao, when he serves childhood dishes to the Anton Ego guy (which reminds me of the bald judge chef in here, vaguely lmao). His cuisine reflects very well his intense personality.

Interesting to know that his humble intentions was also seen in serving his dish around instead of building his own restaurant. Luca started a catering company on food trucks and traveled the country and Canada (Mashed, 2021). Now he’s sharing his recipes online. I think he’s a good guy through and through. Huge congratulations for his success.
I always believe that good people will always finish on top. Luca always clapped and cheered on his competitors when they win elimination challenges and he gave his ingredients to the ones who needed it. Look at Natasha just in this episode; the way she smirks when Luca gets critique and rolls her eyes at him, how she didn't clap when he won and Luca was the one to give her a hug. Luca complemented her skills even after his win and she just blabbed about herself. Well deserved win!

Probably the biggest Cinderella story ever seen in the culinary world! Luca missed out on season three during the auditions, and work his way to the bone the following season, starting from the bottom with the other chefs, having his own struggles to overcome, and eventually working his way to the top of the mountain! Not to mention, he’s probably one of the most hard working, down-to-earth, kindest, innocent, and passionate chef I’ve ever seen on a TV show! Every time I watch this, I am so happy that Luca won, and I continuously wish him nothing but the best!

It's a typical way of thinking of Italians, since young age our grandma's reccomend "YOU BETTER EAT SOMETHING! YOU LOOK SO SKINNY!" Except that no matter how we look like, we'll always be "sciupati" (skinny) to them 😂
