Reminds me of my Springer Spaniel. When she was a pup and I gave her the first bath, I thought she died. She was sound asleep. The rest of her life, she loved baths. She would just fall asleep. After the bath she would toss her head and prance around.
Versus my German Shepherd who hated baths. Every bath was an MMA wrestling match, leaving us both soaked. He was, any other time, the perfect, good boy.
My current dog, a Papillon likes baths and lets me know that she wants one by stepping in the shower while I'm bathing. So I wash her too. She asks for her bath about once a week.
Some like the bath, some hate it.
A puppy will grow to love bathing if they are given lots of encouragement and praise.
Just like humans they feel better after a shower and grooming, keeps them happier healthier.

I can get her INTO the tub just fine, she doesn't like to STAY in the tub! The last bath she got, my husband had to help keep her in the tub!

Dog loves to bath in warm water in winter season.Don't use cold water in cold seasons.That was very torturing for them.Even humans can't bear that.warm water really make them comfortable.

@@b_uppy Nup not believe anyways 😌 coz 1. He isn’t famous TV vet and other vets no say so. And giraffes dont bathe and dont get disesased skin from not bathing. But doggies do. So there 😆. It’s cool - he can bathe his dog every 3 months, I bathe mine every week/ fortnight. And you bathe yours every 10.5 days, all good 😊.

I tend to be skeptical of identity claims in threads because zero verification.
I personally bathe dogs to remove the "high spots," odors, or because I am suspicious of other where they've been, lol, and of course the seasonal bath. My dogs are low maintenance, fortunately.
Haired dogs need frequent bathing because they get smelly faster. Pretty sure that's the likelier reason they are "hypoallergenic" rather than the hair/fur argument...
@@b_uppy 🐩 no problem, all internet doggy advice goes through my giraffe 🦒 test first, then my vet 😂. I dont want no smelly doggies - even if they’re not itchy, they make me itchy. All dogs happy - bathe or no bathe, it’s better they are loved ❤️. btw, i gave you a like for your responses - thank you 🤩.
